I'm guessing these are from the Observer, but I'm too lazy to check...

The WWE have a hectic touring schedule this coming week... Raw is taped live tonight from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY while the Smackdown crew play the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH. Smackdown is taped on Tuesday from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT while the Raw crew play the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Raw then play the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA on Wednesday with the Smackdown crew at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL. The Raw-brand New Years Revolution pay-per-view is Sunday from the Coliseo De Puerto Rico in Puerto Rico and the Smackdown crew have a house show that day at the Waterhouse Centre in Orlando, FL.

Raw tonight is being hyped on the strength of a debate with Muhammed Hassan and Khosrow Daivari against Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. I haven't heard anything solid but I'm assuming since they are in Mick Foley's backyard he will be on hand to continue the political angle. No matches have been announced as of time of writing.

W365 reader Jozev sent word that Chris Jericho and his band Fozzy will be playing at "The Downtown" in Farmingdale, NY following Raw tonight. The club is about 15 minutes from the Nassau Coliseum. 16+ to enter, 21+ to drink.

For the first time ever Raw will be airing live starting tonight (technically tomorrow morning) in the U.K. at 2am on Sky Sports 3.

To kill a rumor started by Joey Styles at 1Wrestling.com... Paul Heyman hasn't been released. He is still very much under WWE contract but is not on the road with the company. Conspiracy theorists believe that he is taking time off to the plan the much rumored and talked about ECW pay-per-view in June. Only time will tell...

On a side note, I've heard from a "retired" former wrestling personality that the WWE office recently contacted him regarding the chances of appearing on pay-per-view. Make of that what you will but I've sworn not to reveal his name until he comes to terms on a deal. Obviously the pay-per-view I'm talking about would be ECW-themed.

To put to rest another rumor, female wrestler Christie Ricci hasn't signed a WWE developmental deal. I understand the rumor started in Mexico were she worked an all girl tournament last month. In fact she has never been contacted by the company.

William Regal and Eugene will be signing autographs on Tuesday afternoon at the South Hills Mall in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Trish Stratus is among a number of women tipped to replace Rena Mero (formerly Sable) as a character in a comic book called The Tenth Muse. "This is going to be a big deal in comics," says Tenth Muse creator, Darren G. Davis. "The person that we've chosen to take the mantle of the Tenth Muse is amazing! We are fortunate to have her be part of this, and she is looking forward to becoming a superhero!" Link: http://tinyurl.com/65yod

Trans World Entertainment, which is the parent company for video and music retailers such as FYE, will be releasing a Hulk Hogan tribute 6-disc DVD set in the spring. Its expected that the set will be re-releases of the Coliseum Video 'Hulkamania' tapes from the 80's and 90's...

Brock Lesnar arrived in Japan with his girlfriend Rena Mero a few hours ago ahead of tomorrows New Japan Tokyo Dome show.

The Miami Herald has a story up on interior designer James Murphy who client list includes The Rock. ''When his wife Dany, a stockbroker, hired me for the home they were building in Florida, I had no idea who her husband was,'' Murphy recalls. 'When I finally met him, not realizing he would be such a sweet man, I said, `If you don't like something, we'll change it, but please don't throw me across the room because I don't bounce!' NWA-Florida wrestlers Steve Madison, Antonio Banks and The Shane Twins are all booked for dark matches during the WWE's swing through Florida next weekend.

Randy Savage will be appearing at Harley Race's WLW show on February 5 in Eldon, MO. I hear that Savage has made a request to local law enforcement that Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart not be allowed into the state of Missouri that day. I also hear that he has hired several bodyguards just in case somebody tries to mess with him. Of course I totally made those last two sentences up...but those that have been following the story will know the sad thing is it could be true!

From the where are they now files... Bam Bam Bigelow recently bought a restaurant in Hamlin, PA. He has earned enough during his wrestling years to not worry about money any more. Bam Bam is now all but done with the business but still takes the occasional indie booking.

Chris Candito will be heading to TNA very soon. He is hoping that the broader coverage will help raise his profile and price on the indie circuit. He is still hoping to work his way back to the WWE once a spot opens up.

Good to hear Heyman's still employed I guess. And boy o boy does Raw look shitty tonight. When the highlight of the preview is a debate involving foreigners and announcers, you know this is gonna suck. I really wish the WWE would stop using their announcers in angles...

Bigelow has owned Delicatesin's in PA for quite a while lately. Recently must mean 5-6 months at the least. He has a burger thats made of 1 pound of meat. I think he calls it the Beast.

Big F'N Swigg - January 3, 2005 11:03 PM (GMT)
It's wrestling365's "Updates." He pieces all these things together and posts them like he wrote them.

Though he may have wrote them, who knows?

Scrooge McSuck - January 3, 2005 11:19 PM (GMT)
Duh... he really sucks in my opinion, and I am unanimous in this.
