Have at it.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 9, 2006 04:32 PM (GMT)
Pats, being the coldhearted sons of bitches they are, cut Willie McGinest.

Patrick Ramsey going to a team that doesn't suck, or sucks more?

Culpepper: Stop paying me money and get rid of me.

Michael Vick: You mean I'm supposed to throw the ball?

jamiegeist - March 13, 2006 05:02 AM (GMT)
Free agency out the ass today, the most notable move being Edgerrin James signing with the Cardinals.

I'd say watch out for the Vikings, regardless of their QB situation. Young WRs, a stable TE, newly signed Chester Taylor at Running Back, and now the mammoth payout they just gave Steve Hutchison, making him the highest paid guard in NFL history.

Oh wait, assuming the Seahawks don't match the offer. And I'll be shocked if they even think twice about it.

Thats how you make a statement in free agency and go get someone.

'Skins look good, here. Archuleta, Randle El, and Lloyd are all good pickup pieces.

Whoever heard of the Quarterback throwing a ball?

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 13, 2006 07:04 PM (GMT)
I've been defending him since Day 1, but if he doesn't get it done this year, I'm probably going to have to take him out behind the woodshed.

Brandon Lloyd is an ok receiver when he's not being a dumbass on the field, or when he's concentrating on his "rap career".

Mad Dog - March 14, 2006 08:16 PM (GMT)
Browns have signed Ted Washington and Joe Jerovicous so far.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 14, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
Culpepper goes to the Dolphins, Brees to the Saints. Very, very strange.

eStragand - March 14, 2006 08:56 PM (GMT)
News from Donkey-land (which I KNOW you were all waiting for):
-Trevor Pryce is relased and signs with Baltimore.
-Same for Mike Anderson
-Jeb Putzier, who led the league in Last Name Mispronunciations was also let go.
-Rumors are that the Donkies are looking at either Andre Carter or John Abraham. Carter is already the top fan preference, since his daddy was Orange Squeeze lineman Rubin Carter.
-eStragand.com 2005 Simon Fletcher Award Winner Ron Dayne re-signed.
-Then there's a rumor about bringing in Jamal Lewis.

S.T. Strickler - March 14, 2006 10:16 PM (GMT)
The 49ers signed WR Antonio Bryant yesterday. That sorta gives them a decent option for a #1 receiver.

jamiegeist - March 15, 2006 12:48 AM (GMT)
Broncos lost Lewis, as he stayed with the Ravens now.

I'm sure thing will heat up for T.O., and I think Denver and Dallas are the realistic situations now.

Dallas cut Keyshawn today, so obviously they're going after a WR.

Dolphins could be major players. That offense was clicking last year, and now toss in Daunte Culpepper (reunited with former O-Coordinator Ken Wisenhunt (hope thats the right name)) and tools in place such as young stud Ronnie Brown, Chris Chambers, and Randy McMichael. Could be nice in South Florida.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 15, 2006 08:16 PM (GMT)
Falcons might get John Abraham *dances* But we'll see...

Mad Dog - March 15, 2006 11:25 PM (GMT)
Browns sign Willie McGinest. He'll be a great addition to the linebackers. He and Davis should make a nice pair.

jamiegeist - March 18, 2006 10:07 PM (GMT)
T.O. is a Cowboy. Good.

More reason for me to hate 2 things I never liked anyway.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 18, 2006 10:55 PM (GMT)
Falcons pick up Lawyer Milloy and Chris Crocker, and hope to get Abraham. That'd do wonders for their defense.

Oh, and I agree with Jaime...now I just hate both T.O. and the Cowboys more.

S.T. Strickler - March 19, 2006 12:33 AM (GMT)
T.O. may be in Dallas now, but I guarantee he'll pull the same crap.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 19, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
Guaranteed. The guy can't help but be a jackass...he's like a black, in shape, football version of David Wells.

S.T. Strickler - March 19, 2006 01:23 AM (GMT)
And after it doesn't work out in Dallas, we'll once again see Owens and Rosenhaus: "Next question, next question".

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 22, 2006 06:18 AM (GMT)
And the Falcons do nab Abraham. Looks like somebody in the front office learned a valuable lesson about soft hitting, undersized defense: they don't fucking work.
