*Subject To Change

I really really really hope that Hardcore Holly tries to take some liberties with Puder and gets his ass destroyed as a result! That alone would be worth the price of admission! I'm looking forward to both tag matches and the Casket match should be some silly fun. That main event though... I predict will have "train wreck" written all over it!

I'm a little disappointed about Paul London not being advertised for the show, but I got to see him last time they came to town (in a good six-man match where he did not get squashed). Maybe next time!

The cruiserweight six-man could be fun. Have fun man.

Thanks, dude. I'm going to write up the results and such after the show and post them here :)

Just got back from the show! It was pretty awesome, I shook hands with Rey Mysterio, RVD, and Theodore Long and the matches were pretty decent-good.

WWE Tag Team Championship: RVD and Rey Mysterio © def Doug and Danny Basham

This was the hot opener of the night. Doug Basham started the match by making fun of Rey's height, which Rey responded with by drop-kicking Doug in the stomach. RVD and Rey retain the titles (of course) after a five-star frog splash.

Daniel Puder vs Hardcore Holly

This one sucked pretty badly, as Puder was really limited in what he could do. The crowd almost turned on this one (side note, Puder played heel here). I was surprised to see Holly get pinned by Puder when Puder had his feet on the ropes for leverage. This one was crap.

Theodore Long then came out and played to the crowd, made the matches for the night, and then shook my hand :) He said "Thank you, playa" while doing so.

Battle Royal for Cruiserweight Championship: Funaki © vs Chavo Guerrero vs Nunzio vs Billy Kidman vs Akio vs Spide Dudley

Spike's evil goatee looks awesome in person! This was pretty boring, but the crowd loved Funaki. It came down to just Kidman and Funaki and I don't quite remember how it ended (I think I was trying to get Chavo's attention while he was leaving the arena and I missed it).

Dawn Marie vs Ms. Jackie

Torrie Wilson was the guest ring announcer and this was basically the match you would expect from these two. Jackie won the match and afterwards Torrie helped yank off Dawn Marie's top.

WWE Championship: JBL © vs Big Show

Ah man, JBL was so over I couldn't believe it! The crowd totally let him have it, lots of "bucko" chants and I loved it all! JBL got on the microphone and bashed NH as being a democratic state and then demanded a JBL chant. Then Big Show came to save the day and they had a match that sucked for the first half and got better as it became more overbooked. Orlando Jordan interfered quite a lot and the crowd was very supportive of Big Show. Eventually, JBL was DQ'd when the Bashams interfered, but Big Show chokeslammed them both, quite a sight.

Intermission

United States Championship: John Cena © vs Kenzo Suzuki

You know, I didn't realize how short Hiroko is, but she's about the same height as Rey Mysterio. Anyways, Cena was by far the most popular guy in the building, as he got a hometown hero reaction (Cena is from Massachusetts, but still a part of New England). Cena and Suzuki had a decent little match, Cena hit all his usual spots and put Suzuki away to the surprise of no one.

Booker T and Eddie Guerrero vs Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak

I marked out for this match a lot. My favorite part was when Eddie Guerrero delivered his frop splash and every flash camera in the building seemingly went off at once. It was a very cool sight. There was some tension between Booker and Eddie because earlier when Eddie's music had played, several minutes went by until Eddie finally drove out in a nice looking truck. The match was very entertaining and Jindrak and Reigns both looked good. Booker and Eddie won.

Casket Match: Undertaker vs Heidenreich

This match managed to have a very "big match" feel to it as both men were really over. I was impressed how all the little kids sitting around me knew that Heidenreich's first name was John. The match seemed to be a notch below their Survivor Series match, but on par with the Bagdad match. Heidenreich acted as if he was terrorfied of the casket and both guys nearly won several times. It took a tombstone to put Heidenreich away and the crowd went home happy.

After the show we saw John Cena get into his car. A few minutes later JBL came out and I chanted his name ( B) ) and he took his hat off and acknowledged us. Very good time!

But this thread was worth bumping, how often does this board get an exclusive house show report B)

Scrooge McSuck - March 27, 2006 11:57 PM (GMT)
Once a year, apparently. What are you going to bump next? WHAT?!?!

SamoaRowe - March 28, 2006 12:30 AM (GMT)
Eh, I'm probably done bumping for now... until I find an old topic that is interesting to me and me only.

Scrooge McSuck - March 28, 2006 12:31 AM (GMT)
Which is why I bumped the Kane topic. Only I cared about it back then. :D

The only time I honestly cared about a Kane comeback was an early 2000 show, when Kane came back to destroy D-X and the Radicalz and saving Foley, Too Cool, and Rikishi in the process.

I guess the Snitsky thing was cool too :P

Scrooge McSuck - March 28, 2006 12:35 AM (GMT)
Wasn't that after Tori dumped him, and he brought back Paul Bearer and tombstoned the skank? :D

Why yes... yes it was. And if I remember correctly, it was glorious! Too bad Kane went and got injured shortly after...

... but came back that summer to team and feud with Biker Taker. It was around that time when Kane wore that bad ass sleaveless outfit.

Scrooge McSuck - March 28, 2006 12:38 AM (GMT)
Yeah... and Undertaker beat the shit out of him 60 more times in the process. :(

SamoaRowe - March 28, 2006 12:40 AM (GMT)
At least Kane got to main event King of the Ring and Unforgiven in the process :P

Scrooge McSuck - March 28, 2006 12:42 AM (GMT)
Touche... and don't forget he DID get to kick Chris Jericho's ass at Survivor Series and Armageddon, back when Jericho was actually a potential main eventer. :)

SamoaRowe - March 28, 2006 12:58 AM (GMT)
Oh yes, the feud that was started because Jericho accidently spilled coffee on Kane. That was around the time Stephanie took over creative, IIRC...

Scrooge McSuck - March 28, 2006 12:59 AM (GMT)
 Yeah, it was.

"You think this is about coffee?"
