NOAH, 3/5/06 (NTV) Tokyo Nippon Budokan
1. Yoshinari Ogawa vs. Takeshi Rikio 2. Akira Taue vs. Naomichi Marufuji 3. Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Takeshi Morishima 4. Kenta Kobashi vs. KENTA 5. GHC Heavyweight Title: Jun Akiyama © vs. Minoru Suzuki |
Well, this show is certainly interesting with some solid matchups. Taue/Marafuji interests me, but I'm more interested to see if the job out Taue to Marafuji or not. Anytime KENTA/Kobashi hook up is GREAT, and Morishima and Misawa even interests me a bit. Hell, the only match on here that isn't that great to me would be Ogawa/Rikio..............but that's mainly because I'm not a big Ogawa fan.

I can't wait for the day when they finally give up on Ogawa. I don't see them jobbing Taue to a junior.

They won't give up on Ogawa until Misawa is done making decisions. That's his golden boy.
I know what you mean about Taue, but KENTA/Marafuji are probably the only two juniors in the world that they would put over almost anyone...........outside of Misawa/Kobashi

Good card, everything looks interesting except Ogawa/Rikio. I'm interested in Misawa/Morishima to see where Misawa is at this point in his career, and whether he really is as bad as people say he is these days or if he's just lazy. Marufuji/Taue looks like fun and Kobashi/KENTA and Akiyama/Minoru look good. Best looking show of the year so far.

Well, I still think that Misawa is good...............although only when motivated. If he is motivated though I think that him and Morishima would actually make a pretty good match. I'd like to see Rikio/Ogawa be good though because I think that even though he didn't deserve the GHC run, that Rikio is actually a pretty fun guy to watch.
