Fuck yeah, I've got thoughts....it's a buncha' bands ...and mother fuckin' TOOL!!!

Heh. Yea, that's why I posted it, I know we have some Tool fans. The big rumor going around was that The Smashing Pumpkins reunion was going to start at Coachella, but I think Tool's a pretty decent substitute. Plus on Day one You've got Depeche Mode, Daft Punk and Common, which is nothing to sneeze at.

I'm excited because of their musical genius.

(Just in case RFS never reads this, that was a joke on him)

Coutning the big names, I've only heard tunes from 11 of these bands, total. And one of those is Digable Planets, who I only remember from their 90's flash-in-the-pan "Cool like 'dat".

...and here's the part where some young'un in his early 20's comes in and tries to impress us by declaring that he knows and appreciates all of these bands.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - February 3, 2006 11:05 PM (GMT)
I know and appreciate all these bands.

No, I kid. I do enjoy Daft Punk, Common, Atmosphere, MURS, Lyrics Born, and Digable Planets. I can take or leave pretty much anything else on there.
