Some of you may have read my WWF Diary over at TSM forums. I am going to gradually repost the entire thing here :D Along the way, I'll likely change subtle things in it and improve it as it goes along.

What you need to know.

I started playing this game in 2003, so the very last real life WWE event before my diary took over was Summerslam 2003. Forget everything that has happened in the real WWE since then.

In 2005, WWE won a suit over the World Wildlife Fund and was allowed to become the World Wrestling Federation.

You will notice that many top indy stars have been hired. This was not a case of me firing every WWE star I don't like and hiring every indy star that I mark out for. This was a gradual change. You will also notice that among the WWE stars no longer working for me are Eddie Guerrero, Booker T, The Rock, Steve Austin, Undertaker, Batista, Kurt Angle, and Brock Lesnar. Most of them left due to morale problems.

No Kane makes CBF a not so happy person.... but I'll still check from time to time.

Kane isn't very good in the version of EWR I was using... I could probably hire him back if I wanted to do some bizarre storylines.

The only problem I see with reposting this is that new readers might request some different directions from what actually happened, and the TSM diary has about five months of shows in it.

History of The WWF Championship!

As you know, the current story takes place in 2006, but when I started the EWR game, it was in September 2003. So I shall start with the history of Smackdown's WWF Championship belt!

When my game began, Kurt Angle was the WWE Champion, winning the belt at Vengeance 2003, in the triple-threat with Brock Lesnar and Big Show. The last WWE PPV from real life that counts in my game was Summerslam 2003, so forget everything that happened since.

Here is a list of every WWF Championship title change since the beginning of my game, and included are some significant title defenses along the way.

October 19th 2003: WWE Champion Kurt Angle defeat John Cena at No Mercy.

Notes: Basically imagine the actual No Mercy match these two had, but imagine the belt had been on the line. That would be this match.

November 30th 2003: Eddie Guerrero defeat WWE Champion Kurt Angle, and Brock Lesnar in a Triple-Threat match at Survivor Series 2003.

Notes: This was Brock Lesnar’s final main event. After this, he was demoted to the upper-mid-card where he became angry at no longer carrying the Smackdown brand.

December 18th 2003: WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero defeat Spanky on Smackdown!

Notes: This was an absolutely huge match for Spanky. Eddie sold like a pro for Spanky, and even made it look like Spanky was on his way to a title win for a while. However, in the end, Latino Heat cheated his way to yet another victory.

March 21st 2004: Kurt Angle defeat WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero in the main event of Wrestlemania XX.

Notes: By this point, Angle’s morale was at an all-time low, and main-eventing WrestleMania did not help. The match was a big disappointment, only garnering about ***1/2.

May 16th 2004: Shelton Benjamin defeat WWE Champion Kurt Angle at Judgment Day.

Notes: When this match was made, it was planned that Angle would be a long-term champion and reign for several months. Benjamin was just going to be Angle’s first successful title defense, and though he was a mid-carder, head booker Ernie Rowe had enough faith in Angle’s drawing abilities that this would be a successful main event. However, Angle continued to be difficult backstage and pissed everyone off. As a result, on the day of the Pay-Per-View, Rowe changed the outcome of the match, and Shelton Benjamin became the most unexpected WWE Champion in history!

July 18th 2004: Rob Van Dam defeat WWE Champion Shelton Benjamin at Vengeance.

Notes: Just two weeks after his title win, RVD went to WWE officials and admitted that he was addicted to painkillers and needed to spend some time in rehab. Not wanting to strip RVD of the title, Rowe gave him a maximum of two months off to rehab, before he would be stripped. During this time, United States Champion AJ Styles was promoted as the top guy on Smackdown, and carried the show in RVD’s absence. RVD returned after only a month and a half and was able to resume his duties in September.

October 31st 2004: WWE Champion Rob Van Dam defeat Shelton Benjamin at No Mercy.

Notes: This match came about as a result of Benjamin’s anger that RVD could disappear for over a month and then come back and still be champion. The rematch didn’t quite live up to the first encounter, but it briefly established Shelton Benjamin as a main-eventer.

February 27th 2005: WWE Champion Rob Van Dam defeat Chuck Palumbo in a ladder match at No Way Out.

Notes: In what the internet fans stated was “atrocious booking” RVD feuded with Chuck Palumbo, as a way of getting him ready for WrestleMania. The No Way Out match was surprisingly good, and it did it’s job of putting RVD over. A month later, Rob Van Dam walked into WrestleMania as the WWE Champion, and Chuck Palumbo was nowhere to be seen on the card.

March 27th 2005: AJ Styles defeat WWE Champion Rob Van Dam at WrestleMania XXI.

Notes: The match was a ***** classic, yet wasn’t the main event of the show. Raw’s World title match was given the main event spot, with Eddie Guerrero defending the World Heavyweight title against CM Punk, Randy Orton, and John Cena.

May 29th 2005: WWE Champion AJ Styles defeat Rob Van Dam at Judgment Day.

Notes: This rematch from WrestleMania only achieved a ****1/2 rating, but many thought it was due to the interference of Rodney Mack. Mack had just been traded to Smackdown and was looking to start a fight with the brand’s big shot.

July 24th 2005: WWF Champion AJ Styles defeat Rey Mysterio at Vengeance.

Notes: This match came as a response to overwhelming fan support for Rey Mysterio. Much to the dismay of many, Styles retained his title once again, but gave a ****1/2 performance in the process.

August 29th 2005: WWF Champion AJ Styles defeat Rob Van Dam at Summerslam.

Notes: This was the third match between the two, and the third loss for RVD. This was the first clean loss out of the three however, as this match ultimately put over AJ Styles as champion. Not only that, but another ***** classic had been delivered.

November 20th 2005: WWF Champion AJ Styles defeat J.R. Ryder in a Last Man Standing match at Survivor Series.

Notes: Styles and Ryder had been feuding for about three months at this point. They had a match at No Mercy, which ended with a dusty finish DQ, allowing AJ Styles to remain champion. This time, Styles was able to hold on to his title, when Ryder could no longer make it to his feet. This was the third ***** match of Styles’ reign.

March 29th 2006: Chad Collyer defeat WWF Champion AJ Styles in the main event of WrestleMania XXII.

Notes: During Styles’ reign as champ, World Wrestling Entertainment was allowed to become the World Wrestling Federation once again. Styles also became the first man to reign as champion for an entire year since Diesel.

May 4th 2006: WWF Champion Chad Collyer defeat Matt Stryker on Smackdown!

Notes: This is one of the few successful title defenses Collyer has to his credit. Collyer and Stryker tore the house down and were able to spike the ratings in a time where the business was going down.

May 16th 2006: Matt Hardy defeat WWF Champion Chad Collyer at Judgment Day.

Notes: After Styles had reigned for an entire year, there were several Smackdown superstars who had been denied a chance with the title. Matt Hardy’s match with Collyer was a huge disappointment, however, as Hardy had flourished as a mid-carder throughout the past couple of years.

June 8th 2006: Chad Collyer defeat WWF Champion Matt Hardy on Smackdown!

Notes: With the overwhelming negative reaction to Hardy’s title win, the belt was immediately given back to Collyer. Hardy’s morale now resembling the past problems with Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero, Rowe had no other choice. This was also Hardy’s first title defense on television, Rowe had been disgusted with Hardy’s performances on house shows.

July 16th 2006: Rhyno defeat WWF Champion Chad Collyer at Fully Loaded.

Notes: Rhyno had recently been traded back to Smackdown, after three years on Raw. Rhyno shocked the world by pinning Chad Collyer in the main event, but what was even more shocking was the attack on Rhyno by Paul London after the match.

It's okay, I don't think I made it clear enough that it was an EWR diary. Sorry about that :lol:

Interesting title history... glad to see that punk Brock demoted and whiny bitch Angle punished for being... well, a bitch. Shelton Benjamin for Champion in 2006!

History of the World Heavyweight Championship

When my game started, Triple H was the champion, and had just defended it in the Elimination Chamber match against Goldberg, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and Randy Orton. Starting in September of 2003, everything changed…

October 30th 2003: Goldberg defeat World Champion Triple H on Raw.

Notes: They first met at Unforgiven, but Triple H was able to sneak out the victory against “Da Man.” The rematch took place on Raw and Goldberg was able to win the big one.

November 17th 2003: World Champion Goldberg defeat Booker T on Raw.

Notes: This was one of Booker T’s last WWE matches and his final shot at the World title. Booker T retired from his back problems shortly after. In a match that was unusual for Goldberg, he let Booker have a lot of offense and took a good sized beating himself. After the match, Goldberg raised Booker T’s arm.

November 30th 2003: Rhyno defeat World Champion Goldberg at Survivor Series.

Notes: The main reason why Goldberg won the title in the first place was because it was in his contract. New booker, Ernie Rowe, felt that with the new stars he was creating, Goldberg was no longer needed. Goldberg lost the title to Rhyno in a surprisingly short match, as Goldberg had been losing overness with live crowds since before he won the title.

December 14th 2003: World Champion Rhyno defeat Raven in a Hardcore match at Armageddon.

Notes: On this infamous pay-per-view (it only had two weeks to build after Survivor Series) Rhyno and Raven had the match of their lives. This turned out to be a hardcore classic as they bloodied each other during the match. Scott Keith named this match to be the best of Raven’s career and it cemented Rhyno as a main-eventer.

December 22nd 2003: World Champion Rhyno defeat CM Punk on Raw.

Notes: This was a taped Raw that aired on Christmas Eve. It was also CM Punk’s first ever shot at the World title. The two ended the year on a high note, but receiving a **** rating.

March 21st 2004: Chris Jericho defeat World Champion Rhyno and CM Punk in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania XX.

Notes: CM Punk had been a surprise contender for the match, and added quite a lot to the bout. In the end, Jericho was given the World title as a way of capitalizing on Jericho while they still could, as Jericho had made it clear that he was not going to resign with WWE after his contract expired.

April 11th 2004: World Champion Chris Jericho defeat Rob Van Dam at Unforgiven.

Notes: This was RVD’s last night with Raw, before leaving for Smackdown. Y2J pulled out every heel trick in the book, and it paid off as he was able to retain his title in a ****1/2 match.

August 29th 2004: World Champion Chris Jericho defeat Ric Flair at Summerslam.

Notes: Ric Flair had everything on the line. A previously announced stipulation said that if Ric Flair failed to win the World Heavyweight title in the main event, he would have to retire. The end result was a match full of brilliant cheating techniques from both Jericho and Flair, but in the end it was Jericho who was just a tad craftier.

August 30th 2004: CM Punk defeat World Champion Chris Jericho on Raw.

Notes: This was the night after Summerslam. After Punk won the belt, the retiring Ric Flair came out for one last appearance and raised Punk’s arm in victory.

September 28th 2004: World Champion CM Punk defeat Chris Jericho at Unforgiven.

Notes: Y2J was furious over losing his title to Punk on the Raw after Summerslam. Jericho was quite proud of being the one to retire Ric Flair and felt that Punk took away his moment of glory. Punk also had to prove to the fans that he was capable of being the champ, and he tore down the house with Jericho, delivering a classic performance and retaining the belt in the process.

December 5th 2004: World Champion CM Punk defeat Triple H at Armageddon.

Notes: It was only a matter of time before The Game went after Punk. Most were predicting that Triple H was going to soundly beat Punk and send him back to the mid-card, but quite the opposite happened. Punk retained his championship, and it was Triple H who ended up spending the majority of 2005 in mid-card feuds against members of the Gathering and others.

January 25th 2005: Eddie Guerrero defeat World Champion CM Punk at the Royal Rumble.

Notes: Eddie Guerrero had been traded to Raw as a way to try and boost Eddie’s morale, which had been lacking on Smackdown. It worked for a little while, as Eddie was happy to hold a World title again.

March 27th 2005: CM Punk defeat World Champion Eddie Guerrero, Randy Orton, and John Cena in a fatal four-way elimination match at WrestleMania XXI.

Notes: This match was a huge disappointment and pretty much ended John Cena’s shot at being a main-eventer in WWE. The match was about **1/2 and was totally overshadowed by Smackdown’s AJ Styles vs Rob Van Dam title match from earlier. Eddie Guerrero left WWE shortly afterwards, Cena toiled in the mid-card for months afterwards and eventually left, and Randy Orton wouldn’t get another shot at a main event for about ten months.

April 17th 2005: World Champion CM Punk defeat Triple H and Lance Storm in a triple threat match at Backlash.

Notes: Triple H and Lance Storm had been feuding for months, and while trading victories had found themselves as contenders for the World title. Punk was able to capitalize on the two enemies being distracted by each other and pulled off another huge victory.

June 27th 2005: World Champion CM Punk defeat Rico at Bad Blood.

Notes: The team of Rico and Lodi (the New Rainbow Express) had set out to take out Punk and Julio Dinero. Quite a lot of build-up went into this match as the Rainbow Express picked up a tag victory over Punk and Dinero, but Punk was able to pin Lodi a week later. Rico had the momentum going into this match, but Punk once again proved why he was the champion and decisively pinned Rico in the main event of Bad Blood.

August 29th 2005: Raven defeat World Champion CM Punk at Summerslam.

Notes: This match came during a time where the Gathering was splitting apart. Raven and CM Punk both wanted to be World Champion, and this lead to Julio Dinero and Alexis Laree siding with CM Punk while Seven (who we haven’t seen in this diary due to injury) sided with Raven. It all boiled down to this match, where Raven won the title with some help from Seven.

September 25th 2005: Triple H defeat World Champion Raven, CM Punk, and Stevie Richards in a Fatal Four-way match at Unforgiven.

Notes: This four-way was special because it featured two Evolution members and two Gathering members. At this point, Raven and CM Punk were mending their differences and Triple H didn’t consider Richards to be a viable threat to the title, so there was little tension. In the end, Triple H used his trusty sledgehammer to win himself his final World title.

December 18th 2005: World Champion Triple H defeat Shawn Michaels at Armageddon.

Notes: Sort like in real life, Triple H and HBK had been feuding off and on. Unlike in real life, they were hardly ever one on one encounters. Triple H usually had Evolution with him, while Michaels would team up with other top baby-faces. This was their first singles match since 2003. In a good main event, Triple H would go on and pin Michaels once and for all, and the two never competed in another singles match again.

January 25th 2006: CM Punk defeat World Champion Triple H at the Royal Rumble.

Notes: The match was lackluster as Triple H’s ring skills were winding down. It was still a big night for CM Punk, who celebrated with Raven after his win.

March 29th 2006: World Champion CM Punk defeat Rhyno in a Hell in the Cell match at WrestleMania XXII.

Notes: Rhyno left for Smackdown shortly after this bout, but it was a brutal blood-bath of a match. Punk was considered the underdog going into this match due to the sheer aggressiveness that Rhyno had displayed in the weeks going into this match. Rhyno had spent most of 2005 as half of the tag team champions with John Cena, so when Rhyno won the Royal Rumble two months earlier, a fire was re-lit inside him. It still wasn’t enough, as Punk retained the title.

April 30th 2006: World Champion CM Punk defeat Austin Lee at Backlash.

Notes: Raw was going through a stage of starting over around this time. Top players were starting to wind down and not enough young stars had been elevated. So at Backlash, CM Punk put his title on the line against the winner of a tournament, Austin Lee. It was a good competitive match (about ***3/4) and Punk made a decisive win, though it was anti-climatic since no one really expected Austin Lee to win.

June 27th 2006: Chris Benoit defeat World Champion CM Punk at Bad Blood.

Notes: Chris Benoit made a long-awaited return to the WWF just a few months earlier, and started his comeback by attacking random superstars on both Raw and Smackdown. Eventually, Benoit settled down on Raw and earned a shot at the World title and made the most of the situation.

Yeah, losing Brock and Angle was sort of a blessing in disguise, as I was able to elevate a lot of younger talent. I don't expect to ever bring Brock back in, but I hear Kurt Angle's ROH contract is expiring soon :ph43r:

Since it's been awhile since I read the beginning of the original, I guess I should start over here. Great stuff, I look forward to rereading everything.

Thanks for the response :) It will benefit me to repost the entire thing gradually as well, it should refresh my memory on all sort of minor happenings in the diary and will hopefully make my future shows have more coherent.

I will probably take out the copy and pasted EWR matches and put in match descriptions too. The only problem is that usually leads to me writing out the entire match whether I mean to or not.

Just a hit small points.

If anyone recalls (yeah right), I did a 1988 EWR Fantasy Booking where I wrote out PBP for every match... and after one month, it just got so repetitive that I gave up on it.

Yeah, I do have trouble with that. I'm working on just hitting the small points and when I do, the shows will start popping up here pretty frequently for a bit

Basically, I want to get into the habit of television matches being just small points, tv main events being PBP, and every PPV match being PBP.

WWF Raw
July 17, 2006

The pyro goes off and commentators Jim Ross and Al Snow welcome everyone to another exciting edition of Raw. There is change in the air and Ross and Snow are excited about the possibilities. JR mentions that a new General Manager is coming to Raw tonight, to replace the injured Eric Bischoff. Neither JR or Snow have any idea who it is.

Background check: It is worth pointing out that up to this point, Evolution has consisted of Triple H, Ken Shamrock, Simon Diamond, and Stevie Richards.

Hardcore Championship: Frank Shamrock © vs Test

Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout. This match is for the WWF Hardcore title. Frank Shamrock has been WWF Hardcore champion since 27 June 2006. Shamrock has been a bit of a loner on Raw lately, but Test has been involved with a group known as "The Beautiful People" along with Christian and Kid Romeo.

The Match: Test and Shamrock rip into each other with the usual chair and street sign shots. Shamrock has good ring psychology, so this is a bit more interesting than the usual hardcore fare. Shamrock wins with a guillotine choke.

My Opinion: I'll give this a ***1\4 rating. If I left it up to you, you'd probably think it was the greatest match ever! Keep trying...

Interview with Austin Lee

Jonothan Coachman is with Austin Lee. Coach asks Lee if he is likely to join Evolution. Lee spits on the floor and states that neither Triple H or Stevie Richards has approached him, but if they do, he's going to make them his bitch.

Lita vs Victoria

Match background: None, the women's division has been pretty dead for a while.

The Match: This is a sloppy women's match (mostly thanks to Lita). Lita botches a Lita-canrana, but Victoria covers for it by selling it anyway. After some decent action, Lita is ready for a Lita-sault off the top rope, but Stevie Richards pushes her off! Victoria takes advantage and puts Lita away with the Widow's Peak!

My Opinion: Ohh, looky. A **3/4 match!

Ross: Bah Gawd! Richards has reunited with Victoria!

Snow: I take it this means Victoria is in Evolution?

Winner at 5:15: Victoria

Victoria and Stevie Richards Celebrate

Richards and Victoria are embracing in the locker room. Richards is thrilled to have Victoria become the first female of Evolution. Victoria screams something about wanting a Women's title shot next week, but she doesn't know who to ask. Victoria asks Richards if he knows who the new authority is, but Richard just shrugs.

The Impact Players vs Ken Shamrock and Simon Diamond

Match Background: Impact Players are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. Shamrock and Diamond are usually put over by the announcers as being "the greatest team in Raw's history" even though they are heels.

The Match: This is a fast-paced, hard hitting match. Shamrock and Diamond tag in and out to their convenience, while keeping Credible from making a tag. Storm finally gets a tag and cleans house. This is until Credible reenters the ring illegally and goes for a superkick to Diamond. He misses and hits Storm, and Diamond covers him for the 1...2....3!

My Opinion: A ***3/4 rating! Yay!

Snow: Credible seems to have cost the Impact Players yet another match.

Ross: This team has been successful in the past, don't count them out just yet.

Winners at 10:21: Ken Shamrock and Simon Diamond

Al Snow makes an announcement.

Al Snow heads down the ramp into the ring and grabs a microphone. J.R. just sits at his desk and claims he has no idea what is going on. Al Snow tells the audience that he has just been informed that the new authority of Raw is on his way to the arena and will reveal himself at the end of the show.

Intercontinental Championship: Tommy Dreamer © vs Steve Corino

Match Background: This match is for the WWF Intercontinental title. Tommy Dreamer has been WWF Intercontinental champion since 20 February 2006. Corino first arrived on Raw in the early spring, shortly after Wrestlemania and immediatly started picking fights with other ECW alumni.

The Match: Dreamer and Corino put on a good old fashioned brawl for several minutes, until things get too violent for the referee and tries to seperate the two. Corino and Dreamer both push the ref out of the way so he calls for the bell, disqualifying both competitors. This just gives the two enemies an excuse to use chairs, and they disappear into the backstage area, still brawling it out.

My Opinion: Slightly above average match. Only gets a **3\4 rating from me.

A Sneak Attack

Raven comes to the ring for an interview. Before he can even say a word, he is jumped by Christian! Raven and Christian have been feuding since Wrestlemania and even had a barbed wire match against eachother. Christian beats on Raven and then dishes out and Unprettier! Then Christian looks on in horror as Raven stands right back up, completely no-selling the move! Christian just backs off but threats are exchanged.

CM Punk and Julio Dinero vs Chris Benoit and ???

Punk and Dinero make their entrance and await in the ring. Chris Benoit comes out and announces that he has made a serious business decision to protect his championship. Triple H's music plays.

Snow: WHAT? Did Chris Benoit join Evolution?

Ross: It would appear so. You have to wonder though, if Benoit wants to protect his title reign, is teaming up with Triple H such a good idea?

Snow: Triple H is an awesome competitor.

Ross: Yes, but you know just as well as me that Triple H wants that World's Heavyweight championship!

Match Background: Benoit and Punk have been feuding for quite some time now. Chris Benoit is the reigning World Heavyweight champion, and has been since 27 June 2006. Benoit won the World Championship from CM Punk about a month earlier at Bad Blood.

The Match: Benoit and Triple H work well together and keep the Gathering members on their toes. Evolution dominates, but Punk and Dinero mount a comeback. Punk manages to hit the Pepsi Plunge on Triple H and covers him. The ref is then suddenly pulled out of the ring by Simon Diamond (who has surprisingly appeared at ringside). While the ref argues with Simon, Ken Shamrock enters the ring and dishes out an awful looking belly to belly suplex on CM Punk. The ref sees this and disqualifies Evolution.

My Opinion: Nothing offensive, but nothing too special either. **1\2 rating.

Snow: What the hell? Shamrock and Diamond are back in Evolution?

Ross: They must have worked things out in the past week! That son of a bitch, Triple H has just made himself stronger than ever!

Snow: Hopefully our new general manager will not stand for outside interference, as the inmates ran the asylum tonight!

The New Authority of Raw is Unveiled

The announces continue to ponder who the new authority is, when Shane McMahon's music plays.

Snow: SHANE? Shane is the new authority?

Ross: It would appear so, you mentioned earlier that the new authority was on his way, and I guess this would be him.

Shane grabs a mic.

Shane: Now I know all think I am the new authority around here.. but you would be wrong. My father came to me with the idea, but I turned it down. You see, with Evolution regrouping in such a dramatic way, I need someone in charge here who is experienced with handling them. That is why the new General Manager of Raw is none other than: SHAWN MICHAELS!

HBK's music plays and he comes out and does his little dance.

Snow: We haven't seen Shawn Michaels since Benoit defeated him at Wrestlemania XXII!

HBK: That's right, I am the new law around here. My first order of business is my old friend Chris Benoit and his new buddies. Next week, in this very ring, Chris Benoit will defend his World Championship belt... against CM Punk. Only this time, I will be the special guest referee. We are not going to see a repeat of Bad Blood, Benoit. You will not render CM Punk unconscious again while the referee is not looking, because I promise that I am going to keep my eyes on you for the entire damn match. And Evolution? You might as well just break up again right now, because if you think you're going to get your way all the time like you did with Eric Bischoff, then you don't know who you're dealing with.

Snow: HBK is back and he's not playing games this time.

Ross: It's about time we had a breath of fresh air around here. And bah gawd, I do believe HBK just made a subtle war cry towards the newly formed Evolution.

For some reason, the decision at TSM to merge the Fantasy folder with General Wrestling is really pissing me off. With that said, when I eventually get all of my shows from there over here, I am going to end the thread there and just continue to put new shows here.

Rhyno’s Celebration

Balloons and confetti litter the arena as Rhyno and his henchmen make their entrance. Among the group are the new U.S. Champion Rodney Mack, Bill DeMott, Reno, Chuck Palumbo, and Mike Sanders. The group posses and Rhyno triumphantly holds his newly won WWF Championship over his head. A microphone is handed to Sanders.

Sanders: Fully Loaded was a hell of an event. We have a new World Wrestling Federation Champion and a new United States champion. We are go… (Rhyno pulls the microphone away).

Rhyno: PAUL LONDON! YOU TOOK AWAY MY MOMENT OF GLORY AT FULLY LOADED! I AM GOING TO GORE YOUR ASS! AND COLLYER, IF YOU THI… (Sanders takes the mic back)

Sanders: Easy now, champ. I’ve used my pull in the backstage area to provide you a chance to get your horns on Paul London and Chad Collyer. Tonight, there is going to be a match pitting yourself, Bill DeMott, and Rodney Mack against both Collyer and London… and a partner of their choosing, should they be able to find one.

(The titantron suddenly displays some pre-tapped footage of Reno taking out Billy Kidman and Brian Kendrick in the locker room.)

Sanders: As you can see, Reno was kind enough to send a message to the boys in the back explaining how our new Administration feels about anyone who might come to the aide of Collyer and London.

(Rhyno smiles and pats Reno on the back).

Cole: This isn’t fair! Those big bullies are going to play the numbers game to try to weaken Chad Collyer and Paul London.

Tazz: They’re just being smart, Cole. They are looking out for themselves, I admire that.

Cruiserweight Championship: Frankie Kazarian © vs Kid Kash

Match Background: This match is for the WWF Cruiserweight title. Frankie Kazarian has been WWF Cruiserweight champion since 16 July 2006. Kazarian won the title from Kash just a few days ago at Fully Loaded.

The Match: This was a really good competitive match, despite only getting about half the time their Fully Loaded match had. Tons of heat for Kid Kash, who goes down to Kazarian's "Wave of the Future" move. Kazarian gets the pinfall and the crowd pops. After the match, Kid Kash throws a temper tantrum and yells at fans as he exits the arena.

My Opinion: A badly blown spot prevents me from giving out more snowflakes. ***3/4

Cole: Kazarian continues to shine.

Tazz: Yeah, but take a look at Kid Kash. He’s not taking this loss very lightly.

Winner and STILL Cruiserweight Champion: Frankie Kazarian

A limo arrives…

Backstage we see a limousine pull up. Cole and Tazz wonder who it is, when Don Callis steps out. The crowd jeers.

Doug Basham vs Charlie Haas

The Match: Haas and Basham tie it up and have a short, but competitve match. Both are normally tag team competitors, so Basham spends a good amount of time using rest holds on Haas. Doug Basham builds momentum until Shelton Benjamin runs down the aisle and threatens the referee. While the ref is distracted, low blows Basham and rolls him up. The ref turns around and 1...2...3! Danny Basham runs in and is too late for the save. Instead, Haas and Benjamin beat down the Bashams.

My Opinion: All it gets is a ***1\2 rating from me. Deal with it.

Cole: Those two cowards have just taken down the Basham Brothers!

Tazz: Hey, they liked being WWF Tag champions. I can’t say I blame them.

Winner: Charlie Haas

Chad Collyer Interview

Josh Matthews is with Chad Collyer. Collyer explains his disappointment with himself for losing the WWF Championship to Rhyno the night before. Matthews asks Collyer if he and London have found a third partner yet, and Collyer says not yet, but London is looking around.

Chuck Palumbo vs Orlando Jordan

The Match: Palumbo and Jordan tear into each other with a series of power moves. Palumbo has added the torture rack submission hold to his arsenal, but Jordan escapes it. Jordan is about to go for his own version of the O-zone, when AJ Styles runs in and trips him. Palumbo breaks Jordan over his knee and 1...2....3!

My Opinion: I'll give this a ***1\4 rating. If I left it up to you, you'd probably think it was the greatest match ever! Keep trying...

Cole: What the hell is AJ Styles doing!

Tazz: Styles is smarting over that loss to Jordan at Fully Loaded. We thought this was over, but I guess we were wrong.

Winner: Chuck Palumbo

Don Callis is backstage

Josh Matthews is standing with Don Callis, the manager of AJ Styles and Low Ki. Callis puts Styles over for attacking Orlando Jordan and reveals that he signed for Matt Hardy and AJ Styles to be a permanent union. He will now manage all of them.

Styles and Hardy (with Don Callis) vs Kai En Tai

Match Background: Hardy and Styles are teaming up as Styles and Hardy for the first time tonight. Kai En Tai are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion.

The Match: This match is unbelievable. Taka and Funaki get in just as much offense as Styles and Hardy and there are tons of near falls on both sides. A commercial break divides up the match, but Funaki has the crowd popping at the possibility of him defeating two former WWF Champions in AJ Styles and Matt Hardy. The finish comes when Styles hits the Styles Clash on Taka. After the match, Low Ki joins them in the ring for a celebration. The trio is about to beat down Kae En Tai, when Rob Van Dam makes the save and the three men flee.

My Opinion: As close to a ***** match as possible...but unfortunately, it was missing something, so I can only give it ****3/4.

Cole: It looks as if AJ Styles has managed to piss off yet another WWF super star.

Winners: AJ Styles and Matt Hardy

Scoot Andrews vs Ultimo Dragon

Tazz: Whoever wins this match could themselves getting a shot at Cruiserweight gold in the very near future.

The Match: This match is so good, it could have happened on real life Velocity. Andrews does a good job working on Dragon's formerly injured elbow, but Dragon fights back and eventually makes Andrews tap out to a dragon sleeper. After the match, Trent Acid inexplicably comes down to ringside and helps Scoot Andrews to the back.

My Opinion: A **** rating is well deserved for the competitors in this match.

Winner: Ultimo Dragon

Rhyno, Bill DeMott, and Rodney Mack vs Chad Collyer, Paul London and ???

The bad guys make their entrance, along with Mike Sanders. Collyer and London enter together and stand by the entrance ramp. Suddenly, some familiar music plays!

Cole: It’s Johnny Stamboli!

Tazz: Is he crazy? He’s going to be on Sander’s hit list for sure!

Match Background: Rhyno is the reigning WWF World champion, and has been since 16 July 2006. Rodney Mack is the reigning WWF United States champion, and has been since 16 July 2006.

The Match: SARS is not at all happy about Johnny Stamboli entering the match. Bill DeMott starts the match off against Paul London. London is able to outmaneuver the larger DeMott, so he tags in Rodney Mack. Mack and London just wrestled at Fully Loaded, so the crowd pops. Mack eventually overpowers London, who tags in Johnny Stamboli. The Bull takes a good fight to Rodney Mack, who panics and tags DeMott back in. DeMott throws some weak looking punches on The Bull, who graciously sells them like death. Collyer is tagged in, and he cleans house on DeMott and Rodney Mack. This leaves Rhyno with no choice but to tag in. Collyer tricks Rhyno and tags in London just in time. London and Rhyno put on a surprisingly stiff battle, as London holds his own against the more aggressive star. London is able to take Rhyno to the mat and goes for his London Calling. London hits it and 1....2....3! Paul London has just pinned the WWF Champion!

My Opinion: They definitely need to hook up again, I don't care what anyone says. ***1\2

Cole: OH MY GOD! Paul London just pinned the new WWF Champion!

Tazz: If we thought Rhyno was pissed before, I don’t think we’ve seen nothing yet!

Winners: Chad Collyer, Paul London, and Johnny Stamboli

The show ends with London celebrating on the entrance ramp while Rhyno yells threats.

I don't know if it's just me, but I've been finding my early Raw and Smackdowns (Smackdown more so) to be really weak. Maybe it's just me or maybe the diary got better with time, but I'm really looking forward to reposting later shows. If the diary doesn't seem that good to new readers, I would encourage you to stick with it. It may just grow on you ;)

Shawn Michaels Addresses the People

"Sexy Boy" plays over the speakers and HBK makes his way to the ring. Meanwhile, Jim Ross and Al Snow welcome us to Raw.

HBK: Last week I promised that huge changes were in store for Raw. This week I start delivering on that promise. First off, I'd like to start by administering a new rule that basically would not be necessary if everyone followed the rules in the first place. For now on, outside interferance in matches is unacceptable. This goes for everyone, period. If you interfere in a match, you will be dealt with. I hope that is clear.

Secondly, I'm in the mood for a good fight tonight. That is why tonight's World Title match between Chris Benoit and CM Punk will be a falls count anywhere match. Benoit and Punk have been at each other's throats for over two months now, I'd hate to see this match need to be contained to the ring. As a reminder to Evolution, I want you all to remember my new stand on interferene. No interference. Ever. Period.

Finally, I have been in negotiations with some Smackdown stars who I think could bring a lot to Raw. Their Smackdown contracts were expiring, so I offered them a fresh start. To start off, making his Raw debut tonight: BRIAN KENDRICK!

Kendrick's music plays and the wrestler formerly known as Spanky hops down to the ring. He gives HBK a high-five and receives a huge pop. The first match is after the commercial break.

Brian Kendrick vs Austin Lee

J.R: Well, so far I have to admire Shawn Michaels as General Manager. He seems to really want to turn things around.

Snow: Evolution is in big trouble, J.R. Their entire game plan revolves around the numbers game, and this new enforcement of no interference is going to hurt them.

J.R. They are just going to have to be creative.

The Match: Kendrick taunts the overly serious Austin Lee and this leads to a high impact match between two young superstars. Both men bump hard, but in the end it comes down to Kendrick hitting his Sliced Bread #2 and gets the 1...2...3 on Austin Lee!

My Opinion: I'd love to see a rematch and see if they can top this. ****

J.R.: What an awesome debut for Brian Kendrick. He has the potential to go far on Raw.

Richards and Victoria Interview

The Coach is with Stevie Richards and Victoria. Stevie bashes HBK for his new rule and promises that nothing will keep Evolution away from success. Victoria then makes a challenge to Trish Stratus for Summerslam. She wants the Women's championship.

Intercontinental Championship: Tommy Dreamer © vs Steve Corino

Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout. This match is for the WWF Intercontinental title. Tommy Dreamer has been WWF Intercontinental champion since 20 February 2006. Last week on Raw, Dreamer and Corino wrestled to a double disqualification for roughing up the referee.

The Match: Dreamer and Corino tear into each other and it isn't long before Dreamer is bringing in numerous weapons from under the ring. Corino tries to toss the weapons out, since he is old-school and all, but a chairshot from Dreamer busts open the forehead of Steve Corino. The two brawl up and down the entrance ramp until finally they make it back to the ring. Here it comes - Dreamer Driver. 1....2...3, it's finished. Tommy Dreamer is still in the ring celebrating. Steve Corino pushes the referee away. Steve Corino spins Dreamer around. Steve Corino hits the Old School Expulsion!

My Opinion: Ohh, looky. A **3/4 match!

Snow: Dreamer continues his dominance as IC Champion!

Justin Credible vs Triple H

Match Background: Last week the Impact Players lost a tag match to other Evolution members Simon Diamond and Ken Shamrock.

The Match: Triple H and Credible have an uninspired brawl in the ring for several minutes before Ken Shamrock comes running down the aisle with a chair! HHH and Justin Credible continue fighting, unaware of the intrusion. Ken Shamrock slides in and blasts Justin Credible with a chair to the head! HHH takes advantage and delivers a pedigree onto Credible. 1...2...3! HHH wins! Shamrock reenters the ring and the two Evolution members beat down Justin Credible until Lance Storm runs in for a save. He is jumped from behind by Simon Diamond, and a three on two assault is in the works.

My Opinion: Nothing offensive, but nothing too special either. **1\2 rating.

Snow: The Impact Players have suffered defeat at the hands of Evolution yet again!

Ross: Not only that, but that son of a bitch, Ken Shamrock, just interfered in the match! That was just strictly forbidden earlier in the broadcast.

HBK's music plays and he comes out again.

Snow: You're right, J.R. Someone is about to pay.

Winner: Triple H

HBK Upholds the New Rule

HBK stays at the entrance ramp and has a mic in hand.

HBK: I thought I made it clear that interference was forbidden as of tonight. (Shamrock just spits in response).

HHH: Well, Shawn, that's nice. But seriously, what are you going to do to stop us? If you think you can mess with Evolution, then you are in for a world of hurt.

HBK: Well, Hunter, you're right. Evolution is too crafty for me. That is why I have signed someone very familiar to you to a new Raw contract. This person knows how your mind works better than just about anyone.

HHH: That's funny, Shawn. To fully comprehend how Evolution works, a person needs to be a member of our group and work closely with me. There is no one outside of the WWF who has.

HBK: Funny that you mention this, Hunter. Because he was a part of Evolution and he is from Smackdown! Ken Shamrock, I hope you are ready to wrestle, because you have a match right now. If you lose it, you are suspended until further notice. Triple H, Shamrock, allow me to introduce the newest addition to the Raw roster: Randy Orton!

Ross: What?!? Orton is back?

Snow: After a year on Smackdown, Randy Orton is back to Raw! And look at Triple H's face!

Ken Shamrock (with Triple H and Simon Diamond) vs Randy Orton

The Match: Orton gets a big advantage from the surprise factor. Shamrock and Orton tear into each other, Shamrock trying to ground Orton while Orton just tries to hit an RKO. The match ends quickely with an RKO! 1....2....3. Simon Diamond jumps into the ring with a chair! Randy Orton is just leaving the ring...and Diamond scores with a brutal chair shot! Randy Orton falls to the floor holding his head.

My Opinion: Slightly above average match. Only gets a **3\4 rating from me.

Ross: That's it! Ken Shamrock has been suspended until futher notice!

Snow: Shawn Michaels wasn't kidding about the New Rule!

Ross: That son of a bitch, Simon Diamond, just took out young Randy Orton! That is despicable, all Orton did was win a match fairly!

Winner: Randy Orton

Interview with Steve Corino

The Coach asks Steve Corino how he feels about his loss to Tommy Dreamer. Corino screams at Coach, saying he only lost because it was a barbaric hardcore rules match. He claims that Dreamer cannot match him in a "legitimate" match and challenges Dreamer to yet another match next week, this time a submission match.

Masato Tanaka vs Christian

Match Background: Last week Raven punked out Christian.

The Match: Tanaka gets a great pop from the crowd and easily overpowers the smaller Christian. Christian manages to gain an advantage halfway through the match and almost hits the Unprettier, but Tanaka counters it. Tanaka ends up flying off the top rope onto Christian and winning with a rollup. After the match, Christian stumbles up the entrance ramp when he walks right into Raven. Christian begs for mercy, but Raven just delivers an Evenflow DDT right on the stage.

Snow: Raven isn't done with Christian!

My Opinion: Nothing offensive, but nothing too special either. **1\2 rating.

World Tag Team Championship: Helms and Moore © vs Lodi and Ozzy Benton

Match Background: Helms and Moore are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. This match is for the World Tag Team titles. Helms and Moore have been World Tag Team champions since 27 June 2006. Ozzy Benton is a young heavyweight while Lodi is well... he's Lodi.

Snow: What do you think of the rumors that Lodi has a secret crush on Ozzy Benton?

Ross: Why, I haven't heard any such rumors, but that makes me sick.

Snow: What's wrong with that?

Ross: Nothing against Lodi, but I assure you that Ozzy Benton has little to no interest in anything romantic with him. This is all about business.

The Match: Ozzy Benton clearly wants to win the tag titles, but Lodi seems to just want to have fun. Lodi spends a good part of the match just trying to flirt with Helms or Moore, somehow expecting that would make Benton jealous. Benton demands a tag and when Lodi finally tags him in, Benton unleashes quite a bit of raw power on Shannon Moore (mostly generic hoss stuff). Benton's mistake is tagging Lodi back in, who prances around and walks into a lightning kick by Shannon on Lodi. Lodi is all alone...Vertebreaker!! 1....2....3! Benton and Lodi remain in the ring, arguing. Lodi looks really angry. Ozzy Benton pushes Lodi away and walks off, looking furious.

Snow: Looks as if there is trouble in paradise.

Ross: Impossible, Benton is just as upset about the loss as anyone would be.

Snow: Sure, sure.

My Opinion: I really shouldn't drink when I'm reviewing matches. Especially with Scotsman, I can't drink nearly as much, so I try too hard. It was either ** or ****, but I guess I'll have to compromise and say ***.

World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Benoit © vs CM Punk

Match Background: This will be a falls count anywhere bout. Shawn Michaels is the guest referee. Benoit and Punk have been feuding for quite some time now. Chris Benoit won the World Championship from CM Punk at Bad Blood in June. This match is for the World Heavyweight title. Chris Benoit has been World Heavyweight champion since 27 June 2006.

The Match: Both men take advantage of the falls count anywhere stipulation. They fight up and down the walkway by the entrance ramp, and into the corner. Benoit and Punk take turns slamming each other's heads into various things (garbage cans, the barricade, the wall). Benoit tries to go for the Crippler Crossface on the floor, since Punk would have no ropes to try and go for. Punk reverses and attempts his own Devil's Lock. He seeminly has Benoit trapped, until Benoit reverses it. The two men exchange chops back and forth until they spill back into the ring. Then the match turns into an action packed wrestling match as both men exchange and reverse numerous holds on one another. Punk tries to set up Benoit for the Pepsi Plunge, but Benoit escapes and within a few seconds he gets the Crossface locked on. Punk holds out for what feels like an eternity, but he taps, giving the victory to Benoit.

My Opinion: This was such a good match, it caused star ratings to magically appear... ****1\4

Snow: What an amazing match! Both men gave it their everything!

Ross: My hat is off to Chris Benoit as well. He pulled out the victory without resorting to any cheap tactics like his Evolution running buddies.

Julio Dinero comes out and helps CM Punk to his feet. Benoit just holds the title up in a spiteful fashion to taunt Dinero and the beaten CM Punk.

Michael Cole and Tazz welcome us to Smackdown, but get cut off by the music of Don Callis. He makes his way to the ring and grabs a mic.

Callis: I am out here tonight to speak some truth to all of you. That's right, for once you are going to hear the truth, because you are all living in the past and you are living in delusion. The truth of the matter is that "everyone's favorite wrestler" down right sucks! (The audience is chanting "RVD" by this point, Callis acknowledges the chants). Ah, so you all know who I'm talking about, maybe you aren't as stupid as I thought. Either way, I'd like to show you some footage, if you would turn your attention to the titantron:

A clip from the RVD/Styles match from Wrestlemania XXI plays. RVD is spinning around the ring like a top and out-maneuvering Styles at every turn.

Callis: See, this is the past! This is from a year and a half ago! Look at how awesome your favorite wrestler is! Kind of sucks that he lost that match in the end afterall! (Cole throws a fit and reminds us that Callis had interfered in that match). Now here is a clip from Smackdown three weeks ago.

Another clip airs, this one being from Styles vs RVD on a recent Smackdown. This time it is Styles flying around the ring while RVD is doing the best he can with ground-based attacks, due to his previously broken leg.

Callis: Look at that! There is no question in mind that AJ Styles was superior to RVD back then, and there is no question now! RVD is foolish to confront a man who has never beaten, he should just retire right now!

Suddenly, RVD's music hits and he comes out to a great pop. He gets into the ring and Callis looks a bit nervous.

Callis: Now, RVD, I'm just showing you some harsh reality, I'... (RVD grabs the mic).

RVD: Dude... no argument here. There are many things I could do before that I cannot do now. But who cares! (huge pop). Styles might still be faster than me, but at least I am not the most hated wrestler in this building! (huge pop).

Callis gets another mic: What are you talking about? The fans love AJ Styles (huge boo).

RVD: BUT! There is some unfinished business I have yet to attend to. I have met AJ Styles on pay-per-view three times, and he has pinned me on pay-per-view three times. I want him at Summerslam one more time. It will be my retirement match, and I want to prove to the world, and to myself, that even without my high flying abilities... that I am better than AJ Styles.

Callis: You're on! Why don't we get started early though! Why don't you go get that piece of crap, Orlando Jordan, and have a little match tonight with AJ Styles and my newest client, Matt Hardy!

RVD: Orlando Jordan? You mean that poor guy your goons decimated in the ring last week?

Callis: Yeah, that guy.

RVD: You are on!

RVD nails Callis in the face and leaves.

Ultimo Dragon vs Kid Kash

The Match: Needless to say, this match was freaking sweet! Kash was at his aerial best (despite botching an enziguri midway through the match) and Dragon landed some sweet stiff shots on Kash before it was all over. In fact, Dragon was gaining some serious momentum before Kash pulled some brass knuckles out of his tights and punched Dragon in the face with them. 1...2...3, Kash wins the match. After the match, Frankie Kazarian rushes the ring and hits the Wave of the Future on Kash!

My Opinion: Some blown spots really drag this match down a notch, so its ***1\2 for you.

Cole: Kazarian gets some vengeance, not only for himself but for Ultimo Dragon!

Winner: Kid Kash

Josh Matthews with Orlando Jordan

Matthews: It was just announced that you have a match tonight against one of the men who bruised you up last week. How do you feel?

Jordan: I'm always in the mood to fight against that no good Matt Hardy. But AJ Styles? You do not want to make an enemy out of me. It was just fun wrestling you before, but now it's personal. I'm going to let RVD rip into you and then destroy whatever remains of you afterwards!

Kanyon and Sean O'Haire vs Jimmy Rave and Nova

Match Background: Sean O'Haire beat Jimmy Rave in the Heat match before Fully Loaded. Rave picked up a win over O'Haire's tag partner on Velocity last week as well.

The Match: This was a solid tag team formula match as O'Haire and Kanyon kept Rave from tagging in Nova throughout the match. Raven finally escapes from Kanyon and makes the hot tag and Nova uses his speed to outmanuever Kanyon and avoid some shots from an interfering Sean O'Haire. Rave gets up and the duo unleashes their Northern Rave finisher on Kanyon. 1...2....3, it's over! After the match, O'Haire and Kanyon get back up and they start brawling in the ring. The brawl ends when Rhyno and Rodney Mack rush into the ring and destroy everyone for seemingly little reason other than that they want the ring to themselves.

My Opinion: They definitely need to hook up again, I don't care what anyone says. ***1\2

Cole: Dammit! Rhyno and Rodney Mack just took out four men!

Tazz: They are pissed off, Cole. You cannot tell who they will attack and why!

The Sanders Administration Speaks

Rhyno: I... am... the...WWF CHAMPION! Don't I get some sort of respect for such an achievement? DON'T I GET TO HAVE SOME GLORY! If so, then why am I being HASSLED by some SCRAWNY little CRUISERWEIGHT named PAUL LONDON! That's okay though... because I don't have to deal with that PUNK tonight.

The titantron shows a camera following Reno at an airport. He is dressed as a security guard and he is showing other airport security photos of Chad Collyer and Paul London.

Rhyno: Once again, Reno has earned his keep with us. Those fools at the airport think Collyer and London have DRUGS ON THEM! (Sanders and Mack crack up).

Sanders: That's right, champ. We're afraid that tonight will be our night, there is no one to oppose us, except maybe... um... what's his face... you know that guy who volunteered to help Collyer and London... oh yeah, Johnny Stamboli. Let's not play games here, Johnny. Come out here and face us before we go back there and find you. It's going down either way.

Johnny Stamboli vs Rhyno and Rodney Mack

Match Background: This will be a 2 on 1 handicap bout. Rhyno is the reigning WWF World champion, and has been since 16 July 2006. Rodney Mack is the reigning WWF United States champion, and has been since 16 July 2006. Last week Stamboli was the surprise entrant in a six man tag involving Chad Collyer, Paul London, and himself against his two opponents and Bill DeMott.

The Match: Stamboli makes a heroic effort against the evil team of Rhyno and Rodney Mack. After about five minutes of action, Rhyno worries that Stamboli is holding his own too well and the SARS members forget about making tags and a blatant two on one assault begins. Rodney locks the blackout onto Stamboli and leaves him in a daze, just in time for Rhyno to land a vicious GORE! Rhyno makes the cover and 1....2....3!

My Opinion: A ***3/4 rating! Yay!

Cole: What a heroic battle by Johnn Stamboli. He did all he could tonight, but the numbers game was just too much.

Tazz: What a brilliant scheme by the Sanders Administration. They sent their enforcer, Reno, to keep Collyer and London from being here to stop them.

Winners: Rhyno and Rodney Mack

Low Ki vs TAKA Michinoku

Match Background: Low Ki works for Don Callis. Last week Low Ki helped his buddies Hardy and Styles beat up Taka and Funaki.

The Match: Oh man, if only this match had happened in Japan. Dazzling acrobats from both men in this match, as Taka almost puts Low Ki down with the Michinoku Driver! Low Ki kicks out and manages to land the Ki Krusher! 1...2...3!

My Opinion: I'd love to see a rematch and see if they can top this. ****

Tazz: What an awesome display by these two men!

Cole: It was a hell of a match! It's a shame that Low Ki works for Callis, could you imagine what he might be able to do if he was free of them?

Josh Matthews is about to interview a very burnt out looking Billy Kidman, when suddenly Chad Collyer and Paul London come storming in!

Matthews: I thought you two were stuck at the airport!

Collyer: We were! That is until, Mike Sanders made one very big mistake.

London: That's right, the security had Smackdown on in the office and they saw Sanders and Rhyno bragging about setting us up.

Collyer: So they apologized and let us go. Rumor has it they have a warrant out for Reno's arrest as well.

London: But now, I want to go to the ring... by myself. I have some unfinished business.

Collyer: Good luck, man.

WWF Tag Team Championship: The Basham Brothers © vs Haas and Benjamin

Match Background: Basham Brothers are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. Haas and Benjamin are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. This match is for the WWF Tag Team titles. Basham Brothers have been WWF Tag Team champions since 16 July 2006. They won the WWF Tag titles at Fully Loaded from Haas and Benjamin.

The Match: This match was no where near as good as their Fully Loaded encounter, but that's okay because it still rocked! The Bashams have come into their own as a great power team and Haas and Benjamin's wrestling style meshed well with them. For about 10 minutes, it was not clear if either team had any advantage until the Bashams were finally able to isolate Charlie Haas. Benjamin was looking for a hot tag, but it never came as the Bashams put Haas down with a double DDT. 1...2...3!

My Opinion: This match was awesome! Big moves, crisp psychology, just ended too soon. Another ten minutes would have added another star, but **** none-the-less.

Paul London makes his entrance to the ring. He grabs a mic.

London: All I have to say is this: I want Rhyno... right now! (he drops the mic and waits).

Cole: Paul London just called out the WWF Champion!

Tazz: But will he accept it.

Bill DeMott's music plays.

Cole: Apparently not. For all of his mouthing off, Rhyno is a bit of a coward.

Paul London vs Bill DeMott

The Match: This match was pretty decent, as DeMott can still go if he has someone to carry him. DeMott has slowed down a lot in the past year, so London makes easy work out of him, just with his speed alone. London nails him with the London Calling and 1...2....3! After the match, Rhyno rushes the ring and GORES London. London gets back to his feet and gets hit with another GORE! Rhyno then stalks London once more and when London makes it to his feet again, Rhyno delivers a third GORE!

My Opinion: These guys worked SO HARD...for a **1/2 rating.

Tazz: Another brilliant attack by Rhyno!

Cole: Brilliant? Rhyno attacked London once he had his back turned!

Tazz: It's a very effect strategy, Cole. It's well known that sneak attacks do more damage...

Cole: Oh, cut it out. Rhyno is just insecure from getting his ass handed to him by London last week, so he was too chicken to confront him head on!

Winner: Paul London

Styles and Hardy vs Rob Van Dam and Orlando Jordan

The Match: If this match had happened a year earlier, it would have been awesome! RVD does the best he can with his new ground based style, with out of all honesty... sucks. Styles does not try to dodge RVD and the two long-time enemies fight it out, leaving Hardy and Jordan wondering if they will ever be tagged in. Jordan has a history with both Styles and Hardy, so when he finally gets tagged in, Jordan throws Styles out of the ring and punches Hardy in the face. Hardy enters the ring, despite not being the legal man, and locks himself onto Jordan and takes him down. The two continue fighting, until Hardy nails a Twist of Fate on Jordan. Styles goes to the top rope just in time for a 450 splash! He goes for the cover, but RVD breaks it up. Styles goes for the Styles Clash on Jordan, but Jordan escapes and tags in RVD. RVD clears house on Styles and Hardy with a series of clotheslines, but suddenly Low Ki enters the ring and attacks RVD right in front of the ref! Styles and Hardy are disqualified, but they successfully leave RVD and Orlando Jordan laying on the mat, staring at the ceiling.

My Opinion: Ohh, looky. A **3/4 match!

Cole: The trio of AJ Styles, Matt Hardy, and Low Ki has taken out two injured men!

Tazz: This has been a night of brilliant attacks!

Cole: But we have AJ Styles facing Rob Van Dam at Summerslam! That much is certain. The road to Summerslam continues next week.

The pyro goes off and Jim Ross and Al Snow welcome us to another exciting episode of Raw. They announce that Raven and Christian have been given the week off, the office wants them to have a cooling off period. They do hype a match for Sunday Night Heat pitting Christian against Lance Storm.

Brian Kendrick, Shannon Moore, and Shane Helms vs Lodi, Ozzy Benton, and Johnny C.

Match Background: Helms and Moore are the reigning World Tag Team champions, and have been since 27 June 2006. This match is meant to be a hot opener and to pop the crowd. Johnny C has dropped the "Bad John" gimmick and is just going to work on getting over based on his in ring work.

The Match: This is just like the tag title match from last week, as Lodi thinks he can win the hearts of his opponents. Brian Kendrick plays along with Lodi's flirting for about a minute, and then attacks him. Kendrick hits the Sliced Bread #2 early in the match and almost gets the pinfall if not for Ozzy Benton breaking it up! Benton is all business and he easily overpowers Kendrick. Lodi, hurt feelings and all, ends up tagging in Johnny C, who is a green but powerful rookie. He also makes an easy target for Shane Helms, who puts Johnny away with a shining wizard! Benton breaks this up again, but suffers a shining wizard himself. Helms pins Benton, while Lodi is off playing to the crowd.

My Opinion: Ohh, looky. A **3/4 match!

Lodi lifts up Ozzy Benton and bawls as he hugs him.

Snow: Look at Lodi trying to console Ozzy Benton for the loss.

Benton gets a disgusted on his face and slams Lodi to the floor.

Ross: Something tells me Benton doesn't appreciate Lodi's sympathy.

Simon Says

Simon Diamond makes his way to the ring, he does not have any fellow Evolution members with him. He takes a mic.

Simon: Last week's Raw was about the biggest travesty I have ever witnessed. The unfair treatment Evolution receieved at the hands of Shawn Michaels and his "New Rule" are disgusting. Who does he think he is? In one swift night, he brought back that traitorous bastard, Randy Orton, and suspended my tag team partner! Well, none of this is going to stand! We have worked too hard and have come too far to just have everything fall apart now! Just what am I supposed to do!

Suddenly HBK's music plays and out comes the new G.M. He has a mic and stays on the ramp.

HBK: Wah, wah, wah. Poor Simon! You act as if it's my fault that Ken Shamrock is suspended! I made it perfectly clear that interference in matches would no longer be tolerated and I did not force Shamrock to become involved in someone else's match.

Simon: Yeah, but you tricked us! How were we supposed to know you would bring out Randy freaking Orton!

HBK: Upset are we? Tell you what, Simon. I admire you. You are an arrogant asshole and you entertain me.

Simon: Thanks... I think. But flattery isn't going to make this better!

HBK: Now I try to be a fair GM, and you have a just complaint. You have lost your tag partner indefinitly due to suspension. Tell you what, I will drop the suspension on August 21, the day after Summerslam.

Simon: What?!? That long? What the hell am I supposed to do in the mean time?

HBK: Rise to the occasion, that's what. I have made a little match for you tonight. We are going to see Simon Diamond face Randy Orton in that very ring! And the winner will go on to face the World Heavyweight Champion at Summerslam!

Simon (shocked): Whoa... well, you're on!

Ross: My gawd! A number one contender's match tonight?

Snow: You know what this means if Simon wins tonight? We get two members of Evolution battling each other at Summerslam!

Ross: Don't count Orton out though! This is a huge development!

Hardcore Championship: Frank Shamrock © vs Austin Lee

Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout. This match is for the WWF Hardcore title. Frank Shamrock has been WWF Hardcore champion since 27 June 2006.

The Match: Want to see a hardcore match that involves wrestling psychology? Go no further than this match! Austin Lee finds an opponent as serious as he is! Lee works on the legs of Frank Shamrock, using a baseball bat that he brought with him. After nearly crippling Shamrock, the former UFC fighter uses his arms, which happen to be working perfectly. He bashes a kendo stick over Lee's head until he bleeds. Then he traps Austin Lee in a cross armlock and tortures the younger superstar. Austin Lee taps out! After the match, Austin Lee beats up the referee.

My Opinion: A ****1\2 rating for a great match. Keep on trucking...you'll get there.

Snow: That was a bloody mess!

Ross: Who could have expected such a blood-bath on Raw? Now that is hardcore!

Snow: Once again, Austin Lee is taking his frustration out on the referee!

Ross: That kid may be talented, but he's a no good degenerate!

Shawn Makes Another Match!

HBK is walking through the backstage area when Chris Benoit bumps into him. The two stare each other down, not forgetting their Wrestlemania encounter just yet.

Benoit: You have a problem?

HBK: You tell me.

Benoit: I hear CM Punk couldn't be here tonight.

HBK: I ordered him to take the week off. You gave him quite a beating last week.

Benoit: Yes, it was fun. Not quite as much fun as the beating I gave you at Wrestlemania though.

HBK: Oh, I see how it is. I know you must still be sore after last week. CM Punk got some good licks in on you as well.

Benoit: Not really.

HBK: Oh good. In that case, why don't you defend your title again this week? Against CM Punk's good friend, Julio Dinero!

Benoit: It will be my pleasure.

HBK: Good... and be sure to remind your Evolution buddies what happens if they get involved in your match.

Benoit: What, they get to face Randy Orton? Ha, some punishment.

HBK: Laugh now... but he could very well take that title off your shoulders at Summerslam, should he play his cards right.

Benoit is silent for a moment.

HBK: Yeah, that's what I though.

Intercontinental Championship: Tommy Dreamer © vs Steve Corino

Match Background: This will be a submission bout. This match is for the WWF Intercontinental title. Tommy Dreamer has been WWF Intercontinental champion since 20 February 2006. Two weeks ago, Tommy Dreamer and Steve Corino got themselves disqualifed in a fight for the title. Last week, Dreamer got the win over Corino in a hardcore match. Corino demanded this match after he claimed the match stipulations to be unfair.

The Match: Last week they played by Dreamer's rules, this week they are playing by Corino's rules. Corino almost immediately locks a sleeper onto Dreamer and almost puts Dreamer to sleep. The crowd helps revive Dreamer who fights back with punches and kicks. Corino doesn't take this lightly and goes after Dreamer's legs. Dreamer makes it to the ropes and Corino is in trouble. Dreamer pulls out an STF and locks it onto Corino, who cannot believe it himself when he realizes he is tapping out to the hold.

My Opinion: Slightly above average match. Only gets a **3\4 rating from me.

Ross: Look at that! Dreamer beat Corino at his own proposed match!

Snow: And look at Corino! He's livid!

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Tommy Dreamer

Evolution carries on.

The Coach is with Stevie Richards, Triple H, and Victoria.

Coach: With the New Rule and new GM in tow, what does this mean for Evolution?

HHH: It means nothing, Coach. Outside interference is not that big a deal, we are good enough to not need it. Shawn Michaels would be wise to watch his step though, we are not taking the temporary loss of Ken Shamrock too lightly.

Coach: How do you feel about the number one's contender match announced for tonight?

HHH: Simon Diamond will easily beat Randy Orton's punk ass tonight, and then I'm sure he will go on to have a very civil, sporty match with Chris Benoit at Summerslam for fun. Either way, the World Heavyweight Championship stays in Evolution. Make no mistake though, that championship will one day be around my waist once again. In the meantime, I'm going to make sure that son of a bitch, Randy Orton, stays out of my business.

Stevie: And one more thing. Shawn Michaels, when Victoria and I beat the hell out of Trish Stratus and Bubba Ray Dudley in tonight's mixed tag, you will grant Victoria her Women's Championship match at Summerslam! It is the right thing to do, and you damn well know it!

Victoria: YEAH! Otherwise, I will make you pay.

Coach: Are you sure threatening the new GM is the best way to go about this?

HHH gets in his face: Do YOU have any better ideas. (Coach is silent). That's right.

Bubba Ray Dudley and Trish Stratus vs Stevie Richards and Victoria

Match Background: Trish Stratus is the reigning WWF Womens champion, and has been since 27 June 2006.

The Match: This is the usual fun match you would expect out of an intergender tag match. The guys fight in an old-school brawling style, while Victoria and Trish uses their technical skills. Finish comes when Bubba goes for a table, which leaves Trish vulnerable to a DDT from Stevie Richards! Victoria rolls up the stunned Trish Stratus: 1....2...3! How did the referee not see that? Stevie and Victoria make their triumphant exit, while Bubba tends to Trish.

My Opinion: Slightly above average match. Only gets a **3\4 rating from me.

Ross: By gawd, this is sickening.

Snow: Does this mean that Victoria is getting her Women's title match?

Ross: I'm getting word in my headset, that she is. Apparently Shawn Michaels wants Trish to have her chance for revenge. The match will take place at Summerslam!

Winners: Stevie Richards and Victoria

#1 Contendership: Randy Orton vs Simon Diamond

Match Background: HBK made this match earlier. Last week, Simon Diamond's tag partner was suspended after losing a match to Randy Orton.

The Match: Orton and Diamond mesh well together, but most of this match is playing to the crowd, which becomes really tedious. Orton and Diamond brawl their way out of the ring and the referee ends up counting them both out. We have a no contest!

My Opinion: Let me practice my math. 13 quarter stars equal a ***1\4 rating, right? Yeah, it does. That's what you get.

Snow: They have both been counted out? What does this mean?

Ross: We're going to have to wait and here what Shawn Michaels has to say about this.

Winner: No contest by double count-out.

Austin Lee is pissed!

The camera goes backstage where Austin Lee is yelling and throwing chairs and tables around! He is screaming that the entire lockerrom is out to get him. A bunch of referees run over to stop him, but he just lays them all out. Shawn Michaels runs in and delivers a fierce Sweet Chin Music to Lee.

Ross: It's about time someone did something about Austin Lee's violence streak.

Snow: That was a hell of a super kick! Makes me wonder how Lee is going to take this once he wakes up.

World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Benoit © vs Julio Dinero

Match Background: This match is for the World Heavyweight title. Chris Benoit has been World Heavyweight champion since 27 June 2006. Chris Benoit successfully defended his title last week against Julio's best friend, CM Punk.

The Match: This match turned out to be really good! Julio was looking for vengeance for his friend, CM Punk, and turned up his intensity. Benoit misses on a flying headbutt and Julio almost gets a pinfall victory shortly afterwards. Benoit kicks out and Julio tries to set up Benoit for a superplex off the top rope. Benoit counters it and actually lands the flying head butt on the second try. 1....2....3! Benoit retains the title.

My Opinion: Good bout. In my estimation, it's about ***3/4.

Ross: Benoit does it again.

Snow: Yes, a very impressive title defense. You can't take anything away from Julio Dinero though, he wrestled a good match himself, especially with the very little warning he had.

Randy Orton appears on the ramp. He and Chris Benoit make eye contact as Benoit is celebrating in the ring. Benoit puts down his title and locks the Crossface onto Julio Dinero, who was still down on the map. Orton, looking concerned, makes his way down the ramp, when Simon Diamond runs in with a chair and floors Orton with it. Benoit then releases the hold, rolls out of the ring, and raises Diamond's arm in victory.

Ross: DAMN EVOLUTION! I hope their black souls burn in hell for what they have done tonight!

Snow: Doesn't seem there has been any love loss between Simon Diamond and Chris Benoit, but I guess they haven't heard what is coming through our headsets.

Ross: That's right, folks. Shawn Michaels has made a decision regarding the World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslam. It's going to be Chris Benoit defending against Simon Diamond and Randy Orton, in a triple threat match!

Meanwhile Benoit and Diamond are acting all buddy as they go up the ramp.

Snow: I wonder how much longer these good feelings between Benoit and Diamond last once they get the big news.

Ross: We'll be sure to find out next week!

Great shows man, it was a good idea to repost all of these. Nice work.

Thanks, dude! I had a lot of fun posting these shows the first time and it's good for me to go back and remember everything I did. There are a few parts of these shows that kind of annoy me on a personal level because I see room for feuds and such that I never ended up doing.

Overall though, these shows are superior to the original versions because I'm taking out the copy and pasted EWR match results. By the time I'm done reposting the entire thing, it will be far superior to the version seen at TSM.

Clips from Rhyno's beatdown on Paul London from last week play and the show starts!

Michael Cole and Tazz welcome us to Smackdown! Chris Kanyon and Sean O'Haire are already in the ring, and they look pissed. Some unfamiliar music plays, and out come the Briscoe Boys!

Kanyon and O'Haire vs Jay and Mark Briscoe

Match Background: M.Briscoe is making his debut at this show.

The Match: The crowd is not familiar with the Briscoe Boys, but by the end of the match they are marking out for them! This is a fast-paced match with both sides making frequent tags. O'Haire gets tossed from the apron and the Briscoes double team Kanyon for the victory. After the match, Kanyon and O'Haire clothesline the brothers in the ring and send them flying over the top rope.

My Opinion: Absolutely solid match. A few minor things brought it down, so I'm tacking on a **** rating.

Tazz: What a huge upset by Jay Briscoe and his brother, Mark!

Cole: But look at what those two big bullies are doing!

Tazz: They're just reminding the Briscoe Boys that their win was a fluke.

Cole: But what makes you think that was any fluke! That was an awesome debut match for a tag team whom I believe could be the future of Smackdown!

The Sanders Administration for Rhyno's Success (SARS) Interview

Mike Sanders, WWF Champion Rhyno, U.S. Champion Rodney Mack, Reno, Chuck Palumbo, and Bill DeMott make their way to the ring. Believe it or not but Rhyno is smiling!

Rhyno: Did you all see SMACKDOWN last week? Did you see me GORE Paul London?!? That's how things go here on Smackdown, the WWF Champion runs the show and no two-bit nothing is going to take ANYTHING away from me.

Mack: You're damn right, Rhyno. No one disrespects the WWF Champion. And no one disrespects the United States champion either. I'm in a fighting mood tonight, but I am not on the card. In which case, I will be in Reno and Chuck's corner for their tag match tonight against Johnny Stamboli and Chad Collyer. And since I'm in such a good mood, and because I have such faith in my teammate's abilities, if Collyer and Stamboli win tonight... I'll give them of them a shot at my U.S. title at Summerslam!

London: So, a good translation of that would be... you're chicken?

Rhyno: NO! It means that... I make the people PAY to see me defend my title. They can wait for Summerslam, when I DESTROY whoever the unlucky number one contender might be. And if there is no number one contender, then I guess I just get the month off.

London: So you wouldn't be interested in wresting me... tonight?

Rhyno: HELL NO! You're beneath me.

London: Or maybe you are just chicken!

Rhyno: No... I'm not afraid of anyone! Just because you beat me in that six man tag.. or floored me at Fully Loaded... DOES NOT MAKE ME AFRAID OF YOU!

London: Okay, then fight me tonight! It doesn't even have to be for the title. Just prove that you're half the man you say you are.

Cruiserweight Championship: Frankie Kazarian © vs Ultimo Dragon vs Kid Kash

Match Background: This will be a triangle bout. This match is for the WWF Cruiserweight title. Frankie Kazarian has been WWF Cruiserweight champion since 16 July 2006.

The Match: This is a quick, yet energetic title match. Dragon and Kazarian team up against Kid Kash at first and beat him up so badly he needs to be removed from the match. Dragon and Kazarian then lock up and put on a good technical display until Kazarian hits the Wave of the Future and pins Ultimo Dragon.

My Opinion: Some blown spots really drag this match down a notch, so its ***1/2 for you.

Cole: Kazarian does it again!

Tazz: Amazing accomplishment by this young Frankie Kazarian. He just beat two veterans to retain his title.

We come back from commerical and some unfamiliar music plays. Tazz and Cole are in shock as ERIK WATTS makes his entrance.

Cole: It's Erik Watts! What is he doing here?

Tazz: What an incredible shock! NWA-TNA was just bought out by the WWF four days ago, and here we are with Erik Watts on Smackdown!

Watts: First off, I'd like to thank Shane McMahon for allowing me to be here tonight. It hasn't been an easy week to be Erik Watts. A company that I put a lot of hard work into for the better part of three years is no more. But what is done is done. I have come to Smackdown because I have noticed some ill practices performed by my old rival, Don Callis! I've noticed that a few talented WWF Superstars have had some trouble with Callis and his clients, so I'm here to present an open offer to anyone on the roster who hate Don Callis. Anyone who would be interested in my managerial services need only ask. I ask the boys in the back to take this offer to heart. You may one day find that in order to defeat Callis and his men, you need to have a backup weapon. And men, I am that weapon. Oh, and Rob Van Dam... good luck!

Cole: Oh my, you can bet that wherever Don Callis is right now, he isn't happy!

Tazz: Who does this loser think he is?

AJ Styles vs Sonjay Dutt

Styles grabs the mic.

Styles: Erik Watts? Hmm, that name doesn't ring a bell... oh yeah! He's from THAT company. The one that felt I wasn't worthy of carrying the company on my shoulders. The same company that could hardly afford to pay me or Don Callis, so we got our asses over to WWF as soon as we could! And as far as RVD goes, I beat your ass THREE times in championship matches! Just because the WWF title isn't on the line this time does not change a thing. You are retiring out of choice now, but by the time I am through with you, you will have no choice but to quit!

The Match: Styles is aggrivated, so he is ultra stiff with Dutt. For several minutes, Styles just unleashes unopposed offense on Dutt, who eventually makes a mini-comeback, hitting a drop-kick and hurranrana on Styles. Styles stops Dutt's momentum dead in his tracks and puts him away with the Styles Clash. After th match, Styles flees the ringside area, afraid that someone will run in and attack him.

My Opinion: Oh, look out...almost ***, but not quite. **3/4.

Cole: Styles got out of there pretty fast.

Tazz: He's pissed a lot of people off, Cole. He knows that he's an open target out there.

Matt Hardy Interview

Josh Matthews is with Matt Hardy Version One.

Josh: You are set to face the WWF Tag Team Champions tonight. AJ Styles just wrestled, so who is your partner tonight?

Hardy: That's the best you've got, Josh? I mean, seriously, who pays you to come up with such rediculous questions! I think anyone could do your job better than you! No offense, man, but you suck! Well, I was going to have Low Ki team up with me tonight, but it seems that he's found something better to do. So I just got off the phone with Don Callis and he told me that Matt Stryker is on his way to the arena.

Josh: Stryker is back?

Hardy: Yout bet he is. Tonight he will play the role of my newest Mattitude follower, and we shall pick up a victory over the best tag team there is. (Haas and Benjamin walk by and hear this, they look disgusted).

Reno and Chuck Palumbo vs Chad Collyer and Johnny Stamboli

Match Background: If Stamboli and Collyer win this match, they both get a U.S. title shot at Summerslam. Last week, Reno disguised himself as airport security to keep Collyer from reaching the arena on time.

The Match: Collyer is eager to get his hands on Reno and he does. Collyer suplexes and tosses Reno all over the ring, much to the delight of the crowd. Collyer is sort of like the merging of Kurt Angle and Dean Malenko and become the undisputed top babyface on Smackdown! Reno tags in Palumbo, who also gets tossed around by Collyer, until he makes a tag to Stamboli. From here the action gets tense and Palumbo tags Reno back in. Suddenly, a swarm of police rush into the arena and Reno goes rushing over the guard rail. Apparently, he is still wanted for posing as airport security. Palumbo escapes the madness and the SARS team loses by count-out.

My Opinion: Let me practice my math. 13 quarter stars equal a ***1\4 rating, right? Yeah, it does. That's what you get.

Tazz: Has Reno been avoiding the police since last week?

Cole: It appears so, either way Stamboli and Collyer are going to Summerslam for a U.S. Title shot!

Non-title match: WWF Tag Team Champions The Basham Brothers vs Matt Hardy Version 1.0 and Matt Stryker

Match Background: Basham Brothers are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. Basham Brothers are the reigning WWF Tag Team champions, and have been since 16 July 2006.

The Match: Matt Stryker does not exactly get a hero's return ovation from the audience, who gives him a decent level of heat. The Bashams overpower Hardy and Stryker throughout the match, as they make more frequent tags than their opponents. Stryker wrestles the first half of the match before tagging in Hardy for the remainder. Hardy is unable to get a Twist of Fate on Danny Basham, so he simply rolls him up and grabs the tights. 1...2....3!

My Opinion: Almost got a **** match, but was lacking in certain areas, so i'm knocking off a quarter of a star. Yes, there is such a thing as a quarter star. ***3/4.

Cole: Hardy and Stryker have stolen a win! They have (Low Ki appears out of no where and grabs Cole's headset).

Low Ki: There is no honor in this company! What the hell did Stamboli and Collyer do to get a U.S. title shot? NOTHING! I demand that I am included into that match up. I was robbed of my U.S. Championship in the first place and I never got my rematch! It is only fair and it is the honorable thing to do!

Tazz: Well spoken by a mistreated man.

Summerslam Hype

Tazz and Michael Cole announce that the theme song for Summerslam is the new single from the band, Powerman 5000 (it's 2006, surely they'll have something new around then). They run down the list of matches, and announce that officials in the back have signed Rodney Mack vs Low Ki vs Chad Collyer vs Johnny Stamboli vs Summerslam.

They also take a look at the history between AJ Styles and Rob Van Dam. This includes clips from their matches from Wrestlemania XXI, Judgement Day 05, and Summerslam 05.

Non-title Match: WWF Champion Rhyno vs Paul London

Match Background: Rhyno is the reigning WWF World champion, and has been since 16 July 2006. Paul London pinned Rhyno in a six man tag match two weeks ago. Last week Rhyno beat down London after his match with Bill DeMott.

The Match: London and Rhyno have a great television main event match! Rhyno uses his power while London uses his speed and the two different styles mesh together surprisingly well. Towards the end London walks into a side slam. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Rhyno misses a clothesline, but connects with another. Rhyno waits for London to get back to his feet and goes for a Gore! London dodges it, and Rhyno goes running into the ring post. London capitilizes by jumping to the top rope and nails Rhyno with the London Calling!!! He goes for the cover and 1...2...3!

Cole: PAUL LONDON HAS PINNED RHYNO AGAIN!

Tazz: OH MY GOD!

My Opinion: Almost got a **** match, but was lacking in certain areas, so i'm knocking off a quarter of a star. Yes, there is such a thing as a quarter star. ***3/4.

London slides out the ring. Rhyno is just coming to and he realizes what happened. London is making the the title gesture to his waist. Rhyno grabs a mic.

Rhyno: YOU THINK YOU ARE SUCH A TOUGH GUY! THAT WAS A FLUKE! I AM SO SURE THAT WAS A FLUKE THAT I'M GOING TO CHALLENGE YOU TO ANOTHER MATCH! YOU AND ME, PAUL. AT SUMMERSLAM! FOR MY WWF CHAMPIONSHIP!

London grins and gives Rhyno a thumbs up. Rhyno throws a temper tantrum as Smackdown goes off the air.

The pyro for Raw goes off and Al Snow welcomes us to Raw. He announces that Jim Ross is taking some time off from broadcasting to relieve his hefty work-load. Some unfamiliar music plays, and out comes MIKE TENAY! He waves to the crowd and takes his spot right by Al Snow.

Snow: What a shocker! Welcome to Raw!

Tenay: Thank you, I cannot begin to tell you how good it is to be here tonight. It’s been a very emotional week for my family and me. I just want to thank all the fans and the boys in the back for their support.

Snow: It’s great to have you here, Mike. Now on with the show!

Shawn Michaels Has Words to Say!

HBK makes his way to the ring. He stops to high-five Mike Tenay and he dances his way into the ring.

HBK: So far, I must say being the General Manager of Raw has been a blast. By not being an active competitor gives me a great opportunity to interact with the WWF superstars in a such a way that I have really never been able to. They are no longer my opponents, but more so my friends. However, I am still in charge and I still must enforce my rules! For starters, last night on Heat, Justin Credible got himself involved in a match between his tag partner, Lance Storm, and Christian. His interference failed and Storm lost the match, so the consequence for this action will be less severe. Credible will still get his Intercontinental Championship shot tonight… but now Lance Storm will be the special guest referee! For Justin’s sake, let’s all hope that Storm isn’t TOO pissed about the loss. Furthermore, I must add on to my New Rule. I want all the superstars in the back to listen closely to this one, especially Austin Lee. No harm is to come to referees anymore. Period. Any sort of physical violence towards referees from this point on, will result in direct discipline from myself. If a referee is “accidentally” knocked down during a match, I will use my discretion as to whether or not there was any malicious intent behind it. I hope I have made myself clear.

Tenay: HBK continues to deliver on his promises to reform Raw!

Snow: He sure is, but you can imagine that the young degenerate, Austin Lee, is none too happy about this addition to the New Rule.

Women’s Championship: Trish Stratus © vs Taylor Matheny

Match Background: This match is for the WWF Womens title. Trish Stratus has been WWF Womens champion since 27 June 2006. Stratus is also scheduled to defend the title against Victoria at Summerslam.

The Match: After several good recent Heat matches, Taylor returns to Raw for a chance to reclaim her Women's title! The match goes smoothly and the crowd is hot for both women (who are fan favorites). However, around the six minute mark Victoria slides in with a chair and blasts both women with it. She then lifts up Trish's Women's title and holds it over her head as if she had just won it herself.

My Opinion: *** for a good match, but a little too short.

Tenay: Victoria has cost both women of the win, and Matheny of the title!

Snow: You can only imagine that Shawn Michaels is not going to be happy about this!

Winner: No contest due to outside interference.

The Lodi and Ozzy Show

Lodi is sitting in the dressing room, reading the newest issue of WWF Magazine (with Chris Benoit on the cover) when Ozzy Benton comes up to him.

Ozzy: Hey man… about last week, I’m sorry that I got so made when you came to check on me.

Lodi: Oh, honey, don’t worry about it!

Ozzy: Dude, don’t call me that! Anyways, it’s just nice to have a tag partner who gives a damn, and I overreacted.

Lodi: Oh, sweetie, you know I’ll be here for you no matter what!

Ozzy: Don’t call me that!

Lodi: But Sweet-cheeks, what am I to call you?

Ozzy: Argh! Just call me “Ozzy” like everyone else does!

Lodi: But you’re special to me, you… (Ozzy grabs Lodi by the throat).

Ozzy: SHUT UP AND LISTEN! I know what you are all about but that’s NOT me! I have some freaking self respect for myself and for my gender! You make me sick and I’m in this partnership only because I want to get somewhere in this company. Cut the crap, now, or I will make you pay. (He let’s go of Lodi).

Lodi (genuinely hurt): Okay… Ozzy.

Brian Kendrick vs Christian (with Test)

Match Background: Brian Kendrick recently came to Raw. Christian has been feuding with Raven for the past several weeks.

The Match: It is worth pointing out that Christian and Test had seemingly broken up their alliance the past couple of weeks, but tonight suggests otherwise. Kendrick and Christian have the good type of match you would expect them to have, though Christian is still sore from working with Masato Tanaka. Christian reverses the Sliced Bread #2 from Kendrick and hits him with the Unprettier for the win. As Christian is leaving, Raven appears at the top of the stage once again. This time Christian is ready and sends Test after him. Test goes for a big boot but Raven catches it and pushes Test off the stage onto a table. Raven then jumps Christian and unleashes a series of punches onto him.

Tenay: It’s RAVEN! He’s giving the CLB exactly what he deserves!

Snow: Christian’s antics kept Raven away from Raw last week, but Raven is back and more brutal than ever!

My Opinion: Slightly above average match. Only gets a **3\4 rating from me.

Winner: Christian

New Generation of Degenerates

Todd Grisham is standing by backstage with Austin Lee.

Todd: Lee, earlier Raw GM Shawn Michaels announced that he will not tolerate any more physical abuse towards referees. You singled you out specifically, why do… (lee cuts him off).

Lee: Look, I know exactly why I was singled out! I attack referees more than the average guy does. But you know what? It’s because I’m sick of being held down! I’m sick of everyone in this stupid company. I’m sick of Shawn Michaels, I’m sick of all the guys in the locker room, and I’m sick of you, Todd Grisham. (Suddenly Coach is jumped from behind.)

Tenay: It’s Adam Hastey, the last X Champion from TNA!

Lee: Haha, Michaels said we couldn’t hurt the referees anymore, but he didn’t say JACK about beating up spineless announcers. I’d like to reintroduce all of you to Adam Hastey, a good friend of mine and a soul-less son of a bitch. We own Raw now, but more so we own Shawn Michaels. When we are through with him, he is going to rue the day he ever inspired us all those years ago to disobey authority when he started D-Generation X. We are the new generation of degenerates and we aren’t going to take crap from anyone, especially washed up, former degenerates like Shawn Michaels!

Snow: The irony of this is sickening!

Tenay: Seeing Adam Hastey here in the WWF is just plain surreal! He was the last X Division champion of the NWA! I cannot believe this!

Intercontinental Championship: Tommy Dreamer © vs Justin Credible

Match Background: This will be a special guest referee bout. Lance Storm will be the referee for this match. This match is for the WWF Intercontinental title. Tommy Dreamer has been WWF Intercontinental champion since 20 February 2006. HBK made Storm the guest referee in response to Justin Credible cheating on Storm’s behalf on Sunday Night Heat.

The Match: Credible and Dreamer have a really boring brawl of a match, while Storm calls the match fairly and does not let Credible become too agrressive. After six minutes, Dreamer picks up the advantage. Here it comes - Dreamer Driver. 1....2...3, it's finished. Tommy Dreamer is still in the ring celebrating. Justin Credible gets in Lance Storm’s face! He’s demanding to know why Storm “cost him the match.” Storm just makes an annoyed face and leaves while Credible continues to whine.

My Opinion: ** rating is all it gets from me.

Tenay: Storm called it down the middle, you have to admire that.

Snow: True, but what could this do to the Impact Players?

The camera opens to a dark corner of the parking lot. Raven steps out of the shadows.

Raven: Christian, your antics have ceased to amuse me. As funny as I think you are, I have had enough of this pointless game of cat and mouse that we have been playing. This is going to end, and it will end at Summerslam. (CM Punk, Julio Dinero, and Alexis Laree suddenly appear out of the shadows behind Raven).

Raven: At Summerslam, I want you, Test, and a partner of your choosing in a six man tag against all of us. Should you choose to accept it, spectacular. Should you decline, than this war we have been raging will continue on. I promise you, it will not be pretty. Quote the Raven…

Evolution is in the house!

Triple H, Steven Richards, and Victoria come out to the ring. They pose and HHH grabs a mic.

HHH: You know, it’s funny how so much can change but so much can stay exactly the same. Four years ago, Randy Orton was no one. Aside from his last name, he was totally unrecognizable. Then I did what no one else would, and I took the little guy under my wing. Then what happened to me a year later? The little bastard turned on me! He spit on the good name of Triple H and he spit on the good name of Evolution! Years have gone by, and he’s the same little punk that he was when he was in Evolution. The difference is, he is now the enemy of Triple H. And that, my friend, is something that no one wants to be.

HBK’s music plays and he comes back out on the ramp.

HBK: Yeah, Hunter. You’re right. The lack of change is really funny. It’s funny how those two little hooligans, Adam Hastey and Austin Lee, think they are going to punk me out. What is also funny, is how no matter what I do, your goons don’t seem to get that interfering in matches is no longer acceptable! I saw what Victoria did earlier tonight in the Women’s title match. As a result, I am stripping Victoria of her number one contender position! (Victoria throws a temper tantrum, Richards tries to console her). Next week, in this very ring, Victoria will have the opportunity to regain the number one Contendership if she can pin… Taylor Matheny! (Crowd pops huge).

HHH: Yeah, that’s funny too, Shawn. We should come up there and beat your ass this moment.

HBK: Before you do, realize that I just booked a match for you and Richards… right now! You are going to face the guy who pinned you at Bad Blood… Masato Tanaka! (HHH is pissed). And you will also face the newest member of the Raw roster… Billy Kidman! Good luck, assholes!

Masato Tanaka and Billy Kidman vs Triple H and Stevie Richards

Match Background: Tanaka and HHH had a feud in June, where Tanaka got the fluke pin over HHH at Bad Blood. This is Billy Kidman’s first night on Raw.

The Match: HHH and Stevie are outraged. Tanaka and HHH tear into each other, and while both are past their prime, they can still deliver the goods when it comes to brawling. The match becomes a lot more fun when Kidman and Richards are in the ring together. Billy Kidman floors Stevie Richards...and climbs the turnbuckles. Through the air, Shooting Star Press! 1....2....3. HHH and Stevie remain in the ring. Stevie Richards does not look happy at losing. Triple H goes to leave, but gets pulled back in by Stevie. Tensions seem to be rising between these two. Victoria comes back in, and tries to cool them both down.

My Opinion: Smack dab in the middle of the star spectrum for an average match. **1\2.

Tenay: What a shocking upset from Billy Kidman!

Snow: And look at Triple H! If I didn’t know any better, I’d say he wanted to kill Stevie Richards just now.

Winners: Masato Tanaka and Billy Kidman

Simon Diamond and Chris Benoit vs Randy Orton and CM Punk

Match Background: Chris Benoit is the reigning World Heavyweight champion, and has been since 27 June 2006.

Snow: Simon and Benoit appear to still be in good spirits with one another.

The Match: Benoit and Diamond work well as a team and take an early advantage over Punk and Orton. That changes as after the commercial break half-way through the match, Punk is taking it to Benoit. Punk and Orton tag in and out a few times and have fun beating up the World Champion. Finally, Benoit tags in Diamond and he tosses Orton over the top rope and concentrates on CM Punk. Orton tries to rush the ring to make a save, but the referee is sick of tag partners interfering and holds him back. Benoit rolls into the ring and low blows CM Punk, leaving him vulnerable to a Simonizer! Diamond covers Punk and 1...2....3!

My Opinion: Let me practice my math. 13 quarter stars equal a ***1\4 rating, right? Yeah, it does. That's what you get.

Snow: Evolution won the battle, but I think Orton and Punk won the war, at least for this evening!

Tenay: Yes, but look at Diamond and Benoit! They were a precise unit tonight, even after the announcement that they would be opponents at Summerslam! If this keeps up, then I would be very scared about Randy Orton’s chances of winning the World Heavyweight title!

Michael Cole and Tazz welcome us to another exciting episode of WWF Smackdown as the pyro explodes.

Cruiserweight Championship: Frankie Kazarian © vs AJ Styles

Match Background: This match is for the WWF Cruiserweight title. Frankie Kazarian has been WWF Cruiserweight champion since 16 July 2006.

The Match: Styles and Kazarian lock up and put on a really good (and long) match. There is a commercial within the action, and Kazarian holds his own against the former WWF Champ. Styles accidently runs into the referee, knocking him out. He goes for a Styles Clash on Kazarian! Rob Van Dam quickly comes running down the aisle and into the ring! AJ Styles turns around. Rob Van Dam spins Styles around. Rob Van Dam hits the Five Star Slam! The referee comes to and sees RVD attacking Styles and calls for the DQ! Rob Van Dam has a chair. AJ Styles stands up...and gets floored by a shot to the head. Another two shots smack down across his back, leaving him unmoving on the canvas. RVD sets the chair up, then picks up AJ Styles. He gets whipped into the ropes...and then drop toe holded, sending him face first into the chair! Rob Van Dam has left Styles down and bloodied in the ring after a brutal assault!

My Opinion: A ***3/4 rating! Yay!

Tazz: RVD is reminding AJ Styles just exactly who he is!

Cole: Styles was about to cheat his way to the Cruiserweight Championship before Van Dam got involved! Now he’s left Styles a bloody mess!

Winner by DQ: AJ Styles

We come back from the commercial, and we see RVD in the backstage area. Josh Matthews runs up to him and asks RVD about the attack on AJ Styles.

RVD: August 20, 2006 is going to be one of the biggest nights in my career, man! I’m retiring, whether or not I beat AJ Styles! But, it would be way cool for me to finally pin that jack-ass one on one. Then, my career would be complete. You know something else, dude? I don’t think AJ is going to let me! I don’t think his manager, Don Callis, is going to let me. So that’s why I have taken a kind offer to heart. (Erik Watts appears).

Watts: That’s right. AJ Styles and Don Callis have dedicated their careers to hurting other people. That ends at Summerslam. There will be a fair fight between RVD and AJ Styles, because I am going to see to it. As far as Don Callis goes, I dare him to take a shot at me.

RVD: Damn right. I’m going to make sure that even after I retire on August 20, 2006, not a single person will ever forget the name of Rob… Van…Dam!

SARS in the ring.

The Sanders Administration for Rhyno’s Success makes their way to the ring. The only missing member is Reno, who we last saw running from the police last week on Smackdown.

Sanders (angry): There seems to be some confusion within the ranks of SARS. You see, gentlemen, we are the Sanders Administration for RHYNO’S SUCCESS! This means that we dedicate our lives to seeing that Rhyno remains WWF Champion and that Rhyno does not ever have off weeks. To do this, we cannot afford “off weeks” ourselves. Last week, PAUL LONDON PINNED RHYNO! What do you call that? Success? NO! I call that failure.

(Sanders gets into Bill DeMott’s face).

Sanders: Bill, where were you last week during Rhyno’s match with Paul London? (DeMott shrugs). BILL, WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU WHILE RHYNO WAS GETTING PINNED BY PAUL FREAKING LONDON! (Rhyno is becoming irritated at the constant reminder of his loss).

DeMott: I was at the police station, trying to get bail for Reno.

Sanders: Well, HOW NICE! Since when did we become the Sanders Administration for RENO’S success?!? I don’t recall! Reno is of little concern to us when Rhyno is in the ring.

(Sanders turns his attention to Chuck Palumbo)

Sanders: And you! Where were you! Wait, don’t answer me! I’m sick of your excuses. As for Rodney Mack… you’re a busy man. You are United States champion, you were too busy worrying about your upcoming title defense to be fully able to prevent Rhyno’s loss. (Palumbo and DeMott appear irritated by this). Anyways, I pulled my weight around in the back, and tonight we’ve got ourselves a little handicap match. Rhyno, Rodney, and Chuck get to face the team of Paul London… Chad Collyer… and no one else! This is a week of redemption, gentlemen! Rhyno will redeem himself by beating the hell out of that punk, London. And Chuck, you will help in this beating, to redeem yourself for being so worthless last week! London and Collyer think they can take our titles away from us at Summerslam, and they are dead wrong.

Jay and Mark Briscoe vs Psychosis and Men's Teioh

Match Background: Last week the Briscoe Boys made their debut and upset Sean O’Haire and Chris Kanyon.

The Match: Whoa, when did Smackdown become Velocity? This is a great opportunity for these underutilized talents and they take full advantage of the opportunity. The Briscoes dominate the entire match, but I wouldn't call it a squash. Psychosis and Men's Teioh get their own shots in as well, but eventually Psychosis falls to a back suplex neckbreaker! Jay pins Psychosis and the crowd gives this young team a good pop!

My Opinion: A ***1\2 rating for a great match. Keep on trucking...you'll get there.

Cole: Another awesome win for this young duo!

Tazz: The Briscoe Boys are impressive yet again.

Johnny Stamboli vs Low Ki

Match Background: These two are going to be opponents in the fatal four-way match at Summerslam for the United States championship.

The Match: This match was so stiff, it was almost painful to watch. Low Ki does his trademark "ground opponent and then kick the back of their head repeatedly" spot, leaving Stamboli in a stupor. The Bull isn't done, and lands a belly to back suicideplex! Low Ki is dumbfounded and Stamboli rolls him up. Low Ki reverses the roll-up, grabs Stamboli's tights and pins him! After the match, they continue to brawl, with Stamboli hitting the Fuhgettaboutit and leaving Low Ki down on the mat.

My Opinion: Consider yourself lucky, a ***1\4 is hard to get and it was earned every step of the way. Let's see if you can do better now.

Tazz: Oh my! Low Ki steals a win from Stamboli, but the Bull isn’t going to take it sitting down!

Cole: They are tearing each other apart!

The Heroes…

Chad Collyer enters his dressing room, and Paul London is sitting there.

Collyer: Hey man, ready for tonight?

London: As ready as I’m ever going to be.

Collyer: I hear you on that one. This isn’t going to be easy, but I think we can do it. You’ve pinned Rhyno twice!

London: Thanks, man… Hey, I was wondering…

Collyer: Yes?

London: When you won the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania… what was it like?

Collyer: It was the single greatest feeling I have ever felt. I had never felt more pride or honor than I did at that very moment. It made everything I’ve ever done in my career worth it.

London: Wow… maybe I’ll know what you mean at Summerslam.

Collyer: I have a feeling you will. You’ve earned this, Paul. Don’t forget that.

WWF Tag Team Championship: Basham Brothers © vs Matt Hardy and Matt Stryker

Match Background: Basham Brothers are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. Hardy and Stryker are teaming up as Mattitude 2.0 for the first time tonight. This match is for the WWF Tag Team titles. Basham Brothers have been WWF Tag Team champions since 16 July 2006. Last week, Stryker and Hardy beat the Bashams in a non-title match-up.

The Match: This match is absolutely insane! Everyone is feeling it tonight, including Matt Hardy. Stryker shows no signs of ring-rust and completely dominates over Danny Basham. Doug enters the match and humbles Stryker a bit, but Hardy is still more than capable. Hardy delivers a Russian leg-sweept to Doug Basham. Mattitude 2.0 have Danny Basham to themselves. Matt-attack!! 1....2....3! It's over. Haas and Benjamin just hit the ring with chairs! Stereo chair shots put down Basham Brothers! Hardy tries to attack, but gets beaten to the floor with punches and kicks. Matt Stryker has a brief offensive flurry, but gets nailed with a boot to the gut...and hit with the Doomsday Device! Haas and Benjamin have laid everyone out!

My Opinion: Absolutely solid match. A few minor things brought it down, so I'm tacking on a **** rating.

Cole: Hardy and Stryker are the new tag champs, but the World’s Greatest Tag Haas and Benjamin are beating them down!

Tazz: They were disrespected last week in that interview Stryker and Hardy had! They are just getting revenge this week, I admire that.

Josh Matthews runs up to catch Orlando Jordan. He asks Jordan what he’s been up to since his profile has been low as of late.

Jordan: I’ve done a lot here on Smackdown. I’ve picked up some big wins over some big names and I’ve had my own share of rivalries. I guess you could say that I feel sort of unfulfilled though. I need more excitement, I need more risks. (Suddenly, Nunzio appears out of no where).

Nunzio: Is it risks you want? Maybe you should talk to me and my associates.

Josh: Nunzio! We haven’t seen you in weeks!

Nunzio: Oh, wow! Great observation, Sherlock! Well, I’m back and I’m badder than ever.

Jordan: What’s this talk about risks?

Nunzio: You know, take a chance. You and I have nothing against each other. Why don’t we team up?

Jordan (laughing): That is the lamest thing I’ve ever heard of!

Nunzio (angry): You think I’m kidding?

Jordan: I think you’re a moron.

Nunzio: Well, I think you’re an under-achiever!

(The two of them go nose to nose).

Jordan: Is that so?

Nunzio: Yeah! In fact, I’d go as far to say you suck!

Jordan: I’m not a violent person, you know. For the sake of keeping my good name, I’m going to pretend you just did not say that.

Nunzio: Oh yeah? Don't be so sure that you're name is that good!

Jordan: It's a hell of a lot better than your's.

Nunzio: Oh yeah? Well, with that sort of attitude, you could find yourself in a world of hurt.

Jordan: We’ll just have to wait and see… shrimp.

As we come back from commercial, Michael Cole announces that the WWF Tag Team Championship will be on the line at Summerslam! The new champions Matt Stryker and Matt Hardy are going to face the Basham Brothers and Haas and Benjamin in a triple-threat tag team match.

Paul London and Chad Collyer vs Rhyno, Rodney Mack, and Chuck Palumbo

Match Background: This will be a 3 on 2 handicap bout. Rhyno is the reigning WWF World champion, and has been since 16 July 2006. Rodney Mack is the reigning WWF United States champion, and has been since 16 July 2006.

The Match: Chad Collyer charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Fallaway slam by Rodney Mack puts down Chad Collyer. Collyer backdrops Rodney Mack out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Chad Collyer. Springboard dropkick from Chad Collyer. Nicely done. Tag to Rhyno. STIFF high kick on Rhyno by Chad Collyer. Beautiful spinning arm drag out of the corner by Collyer. There's a two count on the pin. Rhyno counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Rhyno tags out to Chuck Palumbo. Palumbo \ Rhyno whip Collyer into the ropes and hit a double backdrop. Chuck Palumbo connects with rights and lefts and Chad Collyer is down! Chad Collyer charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Covers for a quick two count. Collyer walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by Chuck Palumbo just KILLS Chad Collyer! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Tag between Chuck Palumbo and Rhyno. Rhyno \ Palumbo whip Collyer into the ropes and hit a double clothesline. Hooks the leg for a two count. Rhyno hits some punches. How generic. Chad Collyer fights out of a grapple. Superkick by Chad Collyer practically knocks out all of Rhyno's teeth! Tag between Chad Collyer and Paul London. London \ Collyer whip Rhyno into the ropes and hit a double back elbow. Spinning bulldog in the corner and Rhyno is down! Covers for a quick two count. Tag between Rhyno and Rodney Mack. London just WAFFLES Mack with a STIFF chop that hurt ME to watch! Mack takes a NICE hurrancarana from Paul London. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Mack reverses a Paul London hammerlock. Tag to Chuck Palumbo. Mack \ Palumbo whip London into the ropes and hit a double backdrop. Chuck Palumbo with a spinning neckbreaker on London. There's a two count on the pin. Tag to Rhyno. London walks into a side slam. Impaler DDT by Rhyno just SPIKES Paul London down! London kicks Rhyno in the gut to reverse the momentum. Back heel kick off the second rope, Rhyno goes down. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Rhyno powers out of a headlock. Ring-shaking body slam on London. Rhyno floors London near the ropes and makes the pin. Rhyno is using the ropes for leverage! The referee hasn't seen it: 1....2....3!!

My Opinion: A badly blown spot prevents me from giving out more snowflakes. ***3/4

Tazz: There! Rhyno just pinned Paul London! Last week was a fluke!

Cole: What the hell are you talking about! Rhyno just cheated his way to that victory! You saw it, I saw it, all of our great fans across the world saw it!

Tazz: Whatever, Cole. If you ask me, we’re going to be seeing something very similar to this at Summerslam!
