Hollllllllly shit. He just looked like a confused little retard out there. I wonder what was supposed to happen. I hope they edit it, just for the angle's sake.
Damn, WWE is nailing it with the unintentional entertainment this week.

The angle did little to progress a Batista/Henry feud, but would have done wonders if they were going with a "Mark Henry vs a steel cage" match at the Royal Rumble.

It'll be among the great such as: Heenan vs. a steel chair, Micheals vs. the ladder, and the ladder getting the biggest pop at Backlash 2005.

I can't believe Batista had to sell those bumps.
This really goes toshow how many things are leaked online.

I am quickly learning to love YouTube.com quite a bit.
It's only a matter of time before WWE catches on and has their content removed though. The entire Taker/Orton HIAC match can be seen for free on that site.

Nice! And there's the Stampede match on there too, LOD/Austin/Shamrock/Goldust vs. Hart Foundation, from '97. There's also a Jushin "Thunder" Lyger vs. Owen Hart match on there.

Yeah, and the other night I watched AJ Styles and Air Paris vs Kaz Hayashi and Jimmy Yang from what I think was the last ever episode of WCW Thunder.

I'm pretty sure the ref brought a key over to Mark, but to Mark's credit he went ahead and broke the chain. Poor guy. That looked pretty rough.

Poor WCW, they brought in all this good and young talent just as they were going under. They had AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels (ok, he's not as young), Air Paris, et cetera.

Anybody remember how over EZ Money was. I think they called him Jason Jett, but people were going crazy for him. Mike Modest was starting to make a dent too. Oh, and don't forget "Hardbody" Harrison Norris. OK, go ahead and forget "Hardbody" Harrison Norris.

It's probably a good thing that the firewall in my office blocks me from youtube.com
Hardbody Harrison gets credit for selling a "fistful of sand" from Kevin Sullivan on a spring break Nitro.
Jason Jett was on his way up, despite his weird pants. People like to point to the Dusty-Flair "Kiss Dusty's Ass" as an example of where WCW was in March '01, but they did have a good talent pool. Even the team of Kid Romeo and Elix Skipper seemed to be getting over. I think alot of TNA's stuff is sorta' like "what if....WCW had continued"? Right down to the "Team Canada" concept.
jamiegeist - January 5, 2006 08:28 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I loved all the young talent they started bringing in near the end. It was like they finally said "well, we're fucked....lets try what everyone has been saying all along". And we'll never really know if it would've worked or not. Paris, Styles, Romeo, Jason Jett, Modest.....all those guys were making the shows very fun to watch, even though the crowd usually shit all over whatever they were doing, since they weren't Sting or Hogan.

And a decent edit for the most part on SD. ...There's one exception though...When they did the replay of Henry ripping down the door, Batista is getting up, although he was standing and facing Henry when he hopped up on the ring apron.
