Title: WWE Raw (January 2, 2006)
Description: Cena vs Angle in a first blood match.
SamoaRowe - January 3, 2006 04:10 AM (GMT)
Monday Night Raw
January 2, 2006
-This is the first Raw of 2006! Our hosts for the evening are Joey Styles, Jerry Lawler, and Jonathan Coachman. They are hyping a “First Blood” match between John Cena and Kurt Angle later tonight.
-Lillian Garcia introduces Vince McMahon for an interview segment. This probably is not the best way to start the new year. Vince talks some crap, and books a match with Shawn Michaels against Kane. Vince makes the stipulation that if HBK uses the super-kick, he will be disqualified.
Shawn Michaels vs Kane
HBK hits some chops on Kane in the early going, but Kane does not feel the effect. Kane tosses HBK into the turnbuckle, and proceeds to unleash his methodical offense. Vince is sitting at ringside, enjoying the match. HBK reverses a suplex attempt into a small package, but Kane kicks out at 2. HBK hits a sunset flip on Kane, but Kane kicks out again. Kane drops HBK and chokes him with his boot. Kane dishes out some punches, but HBK comes back with some shots of his own. Kane slams HBK’s skull into the turnbuckle. Kane scoop slams HBK and goes for a cover, which only gets a two count. Kane Irish whips Kane into a corner, but HBK counters. HBK hits Kane with some chops and spills Kane out of the ring. HBK flings himself over the ropes and lands on Kane. HBK gets into the face of Vince McMahon, and we go to a commercial.
After the break, HBK has Kane in a sleeper. Kane backs HBK into the corner to break the hold, but HBK gets it on again. Kane escapes with a back suplex. Kane misses an elbow drop. HBK heads to the top rope and flies off, flying right into Kane’s fist. Kane resorts to choking HBK and hits a big leg drop. Kane goes for a cover, but it’s only two. Kane wrenches the neck of Shawn Michaels, using HBK’s hair for added effect. Kane gives up on the hold and clubs away at the back of HBK’s neck. Kane drapes HBK on the middle rope and heads to ringside so he can better deliver a stiff shot to the face of Shawn Michaels. Kane goes for another cover, but it’s another two count. Kane goes back to twisting HBK’s neck. HBK fights his way out of the hold, and trades shots with Kane. Kane reverses an Irish whip and goes for the Chokeslam. HBK escapes the move in mid-air. Kane corners HBK with punches, but HBK is fired up and chops his way out. HBK hits a flying forearm on Kane and both men are down. HBK hits an inverted atomic drop and then a DDT on Kane. HBK goes for a cover, but Kane kicks out. HBK hits a swinging neckbreaker and goes for another cover, but Kane gets a shoulder up. HBK runs into a big boot from Kane, which delights Mr. McMahon. Kane climbs to the top rope and misses his flying clothesline. HBK goes to the top rope himself and connects with his off the top elbow drop. HBK really wants to hit the Sweet Chin Music, so he ignores the disqualification. McMahon gets on the microphone and tells him that using the SCM will not only lose him the match, but he will be removed from the elimination chamber match at New Year’s Revolution. This distraction allows Kane to regain his footing and Chokeslam Shawn Michaels for the victory at 13:54! Vince McMahon has already screwed Shawn Michaels! This was a solid match with an interesting story in that HBK couldn’t resort to his own finisher. ***1/4.
Winner: Kane
-During the commercial break, Todd Grisham informed Shawn Michaels that he will be the number one entrant in the elimination chamber. HBK blows Grisham off.
-Coach informs Jerry Lawler that Gregory Helms has a beef with him. We look back at a WWE Unlimited clip where Helms claims that “someone is trying to hold him down.” Helms accuses Lawler of being that individual. Helms is going to “shut up” Lawler. Back live in the arena, Gregory Helms comes out to the ring with a microphone. Helms talks crap about Lawler calls Lawler into the ring, and King obliges. They stand nose to nose, as Helms continues the verbal assault. Helms lashes out at King for making fun of him while he was the Hurricane. Lawler takes the microphone and tells Helms that at least when he was Hurricane, he was “half-way entertaining… but now he’s just a guy who sucks.” Helms takes a swing at Lawler, and a brawl breaks out. Lawler sends Helms running from the ring and challenges him to a match at New Year’s Revolution.
-We take a look back at the creation of the elimination chamber, narrated by Eric Bischoff. We see video highlights of the past three elimination chamber matches, and price the competitors paid for competing in it.
-Backstage, Vince is talking to Mickie James about her kiss on Trish Stratus when Daivari and Kurt Angle bust in. Angle is worried about having a biased referee in his match against John Cena tonight. Vince tells Angle that he wants to see someone bleed tonight. Angle says he likes violence just as much as Vince does and promises to make Cena bleed badly. Angle’s resolution is to not take any crap and that he will make Shawn Michaels tap out in the elimination chamber this Sunday.
-We see the footage from last week when Mickie James stole a kiss from Trish Stratus under the mistletoe. Joey Styles thinks it was a little creepy. Backstage, Trish is working out on the steps, and Todd Grisham interrupts her. Grisham asks her about the kiss. Trish said it made her feel a little uncomfortable but she’s confident about the match at New Year’s Revolution.
-Maria is in the ring, hosting the “Kiss Cam” for WWE Unlimited. This is a new level of stupidness. Victoria, Candice Michelle, and Torrie Wilson interrupt the fun. Victoria has a neck brace on from her match with Carlito last week. The evil divas surround Maria, and Victoria snatches the microphone. Victoria is bitter that Maria had a good New Year’s and Maria did not. Victoria challenges Maria to a match.
Victoria vs Maria
Victoria pushes Maria into the corner and soon shoves her to the mat. Victoria puts Maria in a surfboard stretch and stomps on the back of the neck. Victoria continues the vicious assault, choking her on the bottom rope. Victoria Irish whips Maria, and Candice tries to get involved. Maria pushes Candice off the apron, but Victoria shoves Maria again. Victoria misses a splash into the corner and Maria rolls up Victoria for the win at 1:38? That was… terrible. DUD. How dare they job out the most talented woman wrestler on the roster to a non-wrestler like Maria.
Winner: Maria
After the match, the three evil divas triple team Maria, and strip her down. Ashley runs in to make the save, but Torrie and Candice beat her down too.
-After the break, Joey Styles shills WWE Unlimited some more. They play the clip during the break where Vince makes the first ever “Bra and Panties gauntlet match” for New Year’s Revolution. Now what is the point of having this stuff during the break online if they are just going to play it on Raw anyways.
-Backstage, Trish is taking a shower and Mickie James is sneaking around the outside. Mickie says she does not want Trish to get the wrong idea about the kiss from last week. That does not stop her from complimenting Trish’s figure.
-Edge and Lita come out to the arena to entertain us. Edge discusses the criticism he has received for disrespecting Ric Flair. Edge says those people are full of crap. Edge claims that everything he has said about Ric Flair is the truth. He is going to roll footage of Flair’s road rage. The footage is actually Edge dressed up as Flair. This is actually pretty amusing. Edge claims “Who the hell does he think he is cutting off the Nature Boy!” Edge as Flair confronts the other driver and pulls him out the car so he can chop him. Edge as Flair puts the driver into the figure four leg-lock. This was pretty funny. Back in the arena, Edge claims that the fans are laughing at Flair over this incident and his brutal divorce. Lita adds in that she hopes Flair’s ex takes him for everything he’s got. Edge promises to rescue the Intercontinental title from Flair’s useless life. Edge is interrupted by Flair who catches Edge on the stage and attacks him. Flair tosses Edge down the ramp and they brawl into the ring. Flair hits a back body drop and goes for the figure four, but Lita hops on his back. Flair decides to put the figure four on Lita instead. Edge rushes back to save her. Flair breaks the hold and celebrates his moral victory in the ring.
-The first hour is gone, and we’ve had a total of two matches and fifteen minutes of wrestling. I don’t really mind since I am watching at home, but I’d feel ripped off if I was in the arena.
-Next is a plug for Stacy Kiebler on Dancing with the Stars.
Shelton Benjamin vs Chris Masters
Oh boy, I hope this is where we get to meet “Shelton’s mama.” Benjamin is facing Masters, who will be competing in the elimination chamber match at New Year’s Revolution. I guess I can rule out the possibility of Benjamin picking up a win tonight. They lock up, but Masters immediately corners Benjamin and shoulder thrusts him. Masters Irish whips Benjamin, who reverses it into a crucifix. Benjamin rolls up Masters, but it only gets a one count. Benjamin blocks and then reverses a suplex attempt. Benjamin goes for a backslide, but Masters resists and pummels away. Masters hits an elbow drop and goes for a cover. Masters drops Benjamin on the turnbuckle. Benjamin fights his way out of the corner and hits a splash on Masters. Benjamin takes Masters down and hits a knee lift to the face of the Masterpiece. Benjamin hits a spinning kick to the jaw of Masters and goes for a cover. Masters kicks out at two. Benjamin aggressively punches Masters in the face and whips him, hitting a clothesline. Benjamin goes for another cover, but Masters kicks out again. Masters mounts a small comeback and catches Benjamin. Masters goes for the Masterlock, but Benjamin counters into a neckbreaker. Benjamin gets a two count from a cover. Masters hits some punches, but Benjamin hits a clothesline, and keeps slamming away at Masters… until he gets caught in the Masterlock. Benjamin tries to get a foot in the ropes, but Masters keeps him centered in the ring. Benjamin is trapped, but he puts up a worthy fight. Benjamin finally passes out, giving Masters the win at 4:38. The match was short, intense, and a bit sloppy at some points. I was not really in the mood to see Benjamin job to Masters either. *. And were the hell was Mama Benjamin?
Winner: Chris Masters
-Triple H comes out to the arena. Thank the heavens, for a moment I was afraid we would miss out on his stunning acting skills. I would much rather listen to Triple H talk than, you know, watch a wrestling match. We see video footage of last week when Triple H broke Big Show’s right hand with a sledgehammer. Triple H takes a microphone and puts himself over. Triple H says everything he does in the ring is calculated, it is all premeditated. He will make everything an opportunity to benefit himself. He is sure Big Show is sitting at home thinking “This is information I could have used last week.” Triple H directs our attention back to the Titantron to relive him breaking Big Show’s hand. Instead is footage from five weeks ago where Big Show put Triple H in his place verbally. Triple H informs us that’s not the footage he thought they would see “but it’s live TV, so let’s wing it.” I wish they would just let Triple H be himself sometimes; he is actually a funny guy from time to time. Back to seriousness, Triple H continues to threaten Big Show, until Show comes out to the arena. His right hand is wrapped up in a huge cast. Triple H flees the ring as Big Show arrives and arms himself with a chair. Show follows after the Game. Triple H swings the chair, but Show blocks it with his cast. Triple H is terrified as Show takes swings at him with his cast and proceeds to destroy everything in his path. Triple H realizes that Show has a dangerous weapon in his cast. This turned into a very effective segment.
-Backstage, Shelton Benjamin is getting himself cleaned up when his Mama busts in. She is a huge, angry, intense woman. She said she came all this way just to see her baby boy lose. She is furious. “We Benjamin’s don’t take ass whoopings, we give them!” She grabs Benjamin by the ears and threatens to whip him. Mama Benjamin calls him a disgrace. Wow, what a debut. That was as bad as I feared it would be. This was classic Wrestlecrap.
-Coach, Lawler, and Styles go over the card for Sunday’s New Year’s Revolution pay-per-view.
The card features:
Big Show vs Triple H
Trish Stratus vs Mickie James (Women’s Championship)
Jerry Lawler vs Gregory Helms
Ric Flair vs Edge (Intercontinental Championship)
Maria vs Candice vs Torrie vs Victoria vs Ashley (Bra and Panties gauntlet match)
John Cena vs Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels vs Carlito vs Chris Masters vs Kane (Elimination chamber match for WWE Championship)
First Blood match: John Cena vs Kurt Angle (with Daivari)
John Cena’s WWE Championship is not on the line in this one. Before the match, Cena takes a microphone. Cena does his first rap in what feels like ages. There are some noticeable boos in the audience, but it is only upsetting the marks in the crowd. Cena claims that Chris Masters cannot even spell “WWE.” Cena says that on TV, Carlito bites apples, but at home he bites pillows. I don’t get it. Cena then states that Carlito looks like he belongs in a 70’s porno. Cena blasts Kurt Angle for disrespecting the troops. Angle’s music cuts Cena off before he can get to Kane and Shawn Michaels. I must say, it was nice to get some old-school Cena on this episode, this is the type of stuff that got him over in the first place. The match will begin after the break.
The match started during the break, so I’m just going to time it from this point on. Angle is suplexing Angle all over the ring. Angle hits a good series. Angle hits some punches on Cena, in an attempt to bust him open. Cena blocks Angle from knocking him into the turnbuckle, and hits some punches on Angle. The crowd is booing the hell out of Cena. Cena knocks Daivari off the apron and sends Angle flying to the ringside area. Cena begins to stalk Kurt Angle, who flees back into the ring. Daivari attacks Cena with Angle’s medals, trying to bust open the champion. Cena checks to see if he is bleeding, but Angle jumps him. Angle slams Cena into the apron and tosses him back into the ring. There is now a dueling “Let’s go Angle” “Let’s go Cena chant.” Angle sends Cena into the ropes and catches him in an overhead belly to belly suplex. Angle stomps away at Cena, targeting his head the entire time. Angle thrusts Cena’s head into an exposed steel turnbuckle ring. Cena clutches his head, trying to see if he is bleeding. Angle is furious and hits the Angle Slam. Angle heads to the ringside area for a steel chair. Angle swings and misses. Cena fires back with some shots and a flying shoulder block. Cena takes the chair, but is jumped by Daivari. Cena tosses Daivari, but is jumped by Angle in the process. Cena catches Angle and goes for the F-U, but Angle reverses into a sunset flip into an ankle lock. Cena reverses and unwittingly sends Angle into the referee. Cena goes back to the chair and Angle pleads for him not to hit him. Daivari gets involved again, allowing Angle to take the chair and crack Cena’s back with it. Angle continues to punch away at Cena’s forehead. Cena is definitely busted open now, but the referee is not awake to end the match. Angle is destroying Cena, there is no doubt about it. Angle goes for the F-U, but Cena counters and puts Angle in the STFU. Angle is tapping out, but Daivari revives the ref, who sees Cena’s bloody face. The ref awards the win to Angle at 7:59 (not counting the commercial). This was a well done, intense brawl, though I would have liked to see it go a bit longer **1/2.
Winner: Kurt Angle
After the match, a bloody Cena goes after Daivari. Carlito rushes the ring and attacks Cena. Chris Masters follows after Carlito and they double team Cena. Angle pushes them to the side and puts Cena back into the ankle lock. However, Masters decides to put Angle in the Masterlock, while Carlito brawls with Daivari. The chaos brings out Kane, who walks to the ring with a purpose. Kane catches Masters and chokeslams him to the mat. Kane does the same to Carlito. Kane gets a big boot on Angle before hitting the Chokeslam on Daivari as well. Shawn Michaels rushes to the ring and hits the Sweet Chin Music on Kane. HBK turns his attention to the bloody John Cena. Cena catches HBK with the F-U and plants him on the mat. All six men are down to end the first show of 2006.
Final Thoughts: This Raw was a mixed bag. The build for the pay-per-view was enjoyable enough, particularly the Big Show/Triple H segment. We were treated to a good match with Kane/HBK and a good brawl with Cena/Angle. There was some crap thrown in there as well, with Victoria being forced to job to Maria and Shelton Benjamin fearing a beating from his mama. Despite the bad stuff, the show did succeed in making me interesting in New Year’s Revolution, which was the whole point of the show.
Thumbs in the middle.
Scrooge McSuck - January 3, 2006 04:39 AM (GMT)
Sounds like a decent Raw compared to the last few weeks, and 2 good matches is surprising... do we see Trish naked? :D
Scrooge McSuck - January 3, 2006 04:53 AM (GMT)
I gave up, so here's my first 45 minute review of Raw. :P
WWE Monday Night Raw - January 2nd, 2006
- It's my first review of 2006, whoop-de-damn-do! Since it's in my contract to review Raw at least once a year, here we go. Last year it was the Homecoming Show, which DRAGGED THE FUCK ON to the point it nearly broke my spirit, but I'm a fighter, not a... I forgot the rest of the phrase. As usual, Raw is hosted by Joey Styles, Jerry Lawler, and Jonathon Coachman... what's with all the guys with names starting with "J?"
- Vince McMahon comes out to open the show, because he still tries hard to believe it's 1998 and that people really give a damn about his evil Character anymore, despite his problems remembering he was a face 2 weeks ago. Choice sign: "Cena Sucks." I already love this crowd. McMahon talks, I don't listen... you know, the normal. He's all about doing things for himself, and has made a special match...
- KAAAAAAANE~! vs. Shawn Michaels:
Hmm... this could be good. So, is Kane a face or a heel this week? Kane and Michaels appear to have the same hairline at this point of their careers. Special Stipulation of the Match: Shawn Michaels will be Disqualified if he does Sweet Chin Music. That sounds like a porn reference now that I think about it, but I'm a porn addict, so whatever. Kane tries a rushing attack, but Michaels side steps and chops away. Irish whip is reversed, and Kane catches Michaels into a slam attempt. Michaels rolls freeand goes back to chopping Kane in the corner. Kane grabs Michaels by the throat and tosses him into the corner, followed by a big right. More blows in the corner by Kane. Michaels counters a suplex with an inside cradle for a two count. Irish whip, and Michaels tries a sunset flip, and succeeds with a handful of tights, but only for two. Kane is back up quick with a shot to the throat, followed by choking. Both men exchange blows until Kane drives a knee into the midsection, and beats the crap out of Shawn in the corner. Scoop slam by Kane, followed by a forearm across the throat for a two count. Irish whip to the corner, and Kane runs into the boots of Michaels. Michaels with more chops (learn a new move, Shawn) and clotheslines Kane over the top rope, to the floor. Michaels decides to yell at McMahon a bit, so Kane clotheslines Michaels' head into the 34th row.
[Commercial Break]
We come back with Michaels having Kane in a sleeper hold. Kane breaks by ramming Michaels back-first into the corner. Michaels continues going for the sleeper to wear Kane down, and the third finally brings him back down. That lasts for a short time however, and Kane escapes with a back suplex. Kane misses the elbow drop that always misses, and Michaels heads to the top rope get punched in the chest on his way down. Choking by Kane, followed by a jumping leg drop, for only a two count. You'd think a Kane leg drop would hurt more than a Hogan leg drop, but what do I know? Kane goes to the chinlock for the first time, sadly. That doesn't last long thanfully, and Kane hammers across the back and neck of Michaels. Kane continues working over Michaels, but can't get a three count. The crowd helps Michaels "Jesus-Up". Michaels with elbows to the midsection to escape. A Slug-fest errupts, with Kane obviously winning. Irish whip, and Michaels nails a knee lift, followed by more chopping. Irish whip is reversed, and Kane catches Michaels in the GOOZLE! Michaels escapes in what looked like a botched spot, so Kane beats on him in the corner with stomps. Michaels fights back with MORE CHOPS. Irish whip reversed again, and Michaels nails a diving forearm. Michaels does his kip-up, but it's not the same as Unforgiven 2004 when Kane and Michaels did a simultanious no-sell of sitting and kipping up. Michaels with an inverted atomic drop, followed by a DDT for a two count. Boot to the midsection and a swinging neck breaker gets another two count for Michaels. Michaels bounces off the ropes, and Kane knocks his head off with a big boot. Kane heads to the top rope, but Michaels side-steps the flying clothesline. Michaels with a series of clotheslines of his own, and he comes off the top rope with the elbow drop to the chest. Michaels goes for Sweet Chin Music, but then realizes that he's not allowed to do it after McMahon threatens to take him out of the Chamber. In the meantime, Kane sits up, chokeslams Michaels to hell, and gets the three count at 14:00! KANE WINS! KANE WINS! KANE WINS! *** Pretty good T.V. match, but I enjoyed their match from Unforgiven 2004 a bit more, despite the crowd being hot here. The storyline of David vs. Goliath is a proven formula, especially when Michaels is involved, since it seems to be the style he's mastered the best. I wouldn't have minded cutting out some of the chopping sequences and the chinlock spot, but you can't get everything you want, can you? After the match, Vince McMahon says something to the dork who doesn't know who Jushin Liger is.
[Commercial Break]
-Courtesy of WWE Unlimited, Shawn Michaels is informed by the dork that Vince McMahon has made Shawn Michaels the first person to enter in the Elimination Chamber at New Years Revolution. Jesus Christ, I hate this. Now it means Michaels will either win or be the last man eliminated.
- Now we set up a stupid feud betwen Gregory Helms and Jerry Lawler. Helms thinks he's being held down (shoot comments blah blah blah), and we end up getting a match signed between these two for New Years Rebolution. I guess it'll be better than Lawler's last match at the PPV, right? What the hell am I smoking, it's going to suck and we all know it.
[Commercial Break]
- Elimination Chamber Montage (the building process) to eat up time, because the writers are too lazy than to use more than 9 wrestlers on each broadcast. Now we get highlights from previous chamber matches. Oh look, the KLIQ buries Kane! Thanks for reminding me WWE, but RVD nearly crushing Triple H's throat kind of makes up for it, I guess.
- Lots of crap talking now. Vince McMahon is backstage with Mickie James, and in comes Kurt Angle and Daivari. Lots of pointless talking continues, which does nothing to entertain me, and just drags on. Now we get highlights of James kissing Trish last week. I'm sure if I was a few years younger, I'd think that was hot, but now It's just really lame. MORE talking, now from Trish Stratus. She's ready for New Years Revolution, so huzzah to you all.
[Commercial Break]
- We come back with some kind of "Kiss Cam" crap, which sees a lot of ugly people in the crowd kissing to see themselves on television. Anyway, Maria is talking, I don't listen, and out come the Ho-Bag Express, lead by Victoria in a neck brace. Trash talk is done, more trash talk is done, blah blah blah, when are we going to get another fucking match?! Oh no...
- Maria vs. Victoria (w/ Torrie & Candice):
We start with Victoria doing some choking in the corner. She snapmares Maria over and does a modified surfboard, then turns it into a vicious armbar... COME THE FUCK ON! Everyone would've tapped out to that if they were a man. Victoria with a field goal kick, followed by more choking. Torrie then does the AWESOMEST THING EVER... she has her dog give a forced stink face to Maria! Oh my GOD... that was awesome. Irish whip, and Maria knocks Candice off the apron. More crap happens, and I notice Victoria's shirt says "Tell Your Boyfriend I Said Thanks." Okay... MORE nothing happens, and Maria rolls up Victoria for three at around the 2:00 mark. -* This match insulted my intelligence, but at least it was short. I guess. Afterwards, the heels strip Maria. RAPE! RAPE! RAPE! RAPE! Ashley tries making the save for some reason, but it doesn't work.
Here I give up. Quick opinions for rest...
- Edge dressed up as Ric Flair was fucking awesome.
- Big Show/HHH segment wasn't as bad as I expected.
- Masters/Benjamin was blah.
- Momma Benjamin looks too young.
- Cena getting boo'ed out of the building rules.
- Angle/Cena was decent.
- They should name it 1st to Blade, since they pretty much expose how fake it is. "OH! No broken noses!"
SamoaRowe - January 3, 2006 04:57 AM (GMT)
Oooh, we were close to agreeing on the Kane/HBK match, with me enjoying it just a tad more than you.
I was considering -* for the Maria/Victoria match, but I decided not to based soley on the fact that it was under 2 minutes long.
Scrooge McSuck - January 3, 2006 04:58 AM (GMT)
Edge as Ric Flair was my favorite segment of the show. Why weren't any more cars around during the middle of the day? :)
***1/4 seems a BIT too much for Kane/HBK, but hey, the more the merrier. :D
SamoaRowe - January 3, 2006 05:05 AM (GMT)
I never dreamed I'd live to see a day where Scrooge would claim I overrated a Kane match :P
Let's have a party or something.
Scrooge McSuck - January 3, 2006 05:07 AM (GMT)
Well, I compared it to the Unforgiven match in my mind, which I felt was better, and at around ***1/2. Michaels seemed to work harder there, and Kane was fairly more able to "go" than he is now, even though it was only 17 months ago. Plus it was uninterrupted. I probably could've boosted the rating for the Raw match since HBK actually jobbed to him, but that sounds bias.
SamoaRowe - January 3, 2006 05:09 AM (GMT)
Ah, I actually thought the Unforgiven match was in the ***1/2-***3/4 category. Maybe I have a natural tendency to toss star ratings out when HBK is wrestling a bigger man.
Scrooge McSuck - January 3, 2006 05:11 AM (GMT)
And I have a natural tendancy to throw stars out at a Kane match... versus anyone. Moreso versus bad workers than good ones, since he usually is capable of a good match with a guy with a compatable style or who can lead him through with the psycology.

| Cena says that on TV, Carlito bites apples, but at home he bites pillows. I don’t get it. |
Thats a gay joke. A pillowbiter is just another slang-joke term for a gay guy. As in, when a gay dude is getting pounded in the ass, he is face down in the pillows, with his ass raised in the air. Pillow-biter.
Scrooge McSuck - January 3, 2006 06:20 AM (GMT)
No one got the reference, so maybe Cena knows a little too much about the subject. Fucking queer. [Cena, not anyone here]
eStragand - January 3, 2006 07:25 AM (GMT)
I didn't watch a single minute of the show, but reading the line "Mama busts in", I have a vision of a big black Kool-Aid Man type of person. "Hey Kool-Aid!!" "Oh yeahhhhh!!"
I still say she'll have him eating Chunky Soup like "Mama McNabb".
jamiegeist - January 4, 2006 02:49 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I wouldn't expect alot of people to get the pillow-biter slang. Which is why I don't understand why he used it. I mean, as we were watching, he says it, and my wife looks at me and says "I don't get it?". Kind of the same reaction she had when Vince was "screwing" HBK. "Thats stupid...it doesn't make sense why he is doing that"
