Title: Observer notes......

-Psicosis and Super Crazy are begging for angles to be split off from Juvi. Juvi brought his GF to a recent taping, and wanted to have her walk out to the ring with him like in Mexico. When he was told "no deal", he complained that Booker gets to bring Sharmelle. Jvi was told: 1. She's his wife. 2. She's under contract. 3. She speaks English.
-Charlie Haas is being brought back, and possibly "Jesus" Aaron Aguilera and Chuck Palumbo. the deal with Palumbo is that they got some press after mentioning his brother Chris is a war hero.
-Johnny Ace is interested in Samoa Joe as "the top level heel Rikishi couldn't pull off".
-Joe invited Gerwetz to a recent ROH show as a message to TNA. Apparently Joe came in with a low deal, with the understanding that after 5 mos, they'd renegotiate based upon his performance and value to the company.
-Nick Dinsmore was seen at DSW, so he's out of rehab.
-Homocide's shoulder is in real bad shape, but he dosn't have insurance and can't afford the surgery he needs, or the 6 mos recovery time. It's really bad, because TNA is bringing him in to be the workhorse of the group with Konan, who'll do the talking, and Apollo. Apprently 'Cide believes that Steve Corino didn't catch him on purpose on the dive that led to the injury.
-Jeff Jarrett says that Jeff Hardy text messaged him two hrs before the PPV, saying he overslept and missed his flight. JJ also says that Hardy has a rock star attitude, b/c any time he's working a main or semi-main, he's at the building hours ahead of time, and wants to work out all the details of the match. If he's working the mid-card, nobody can find him until 5 mins before he goes on. Hardy is/was getting 2 grand per show. Rumor is that Joe is making between $500-750 a shot, and asked for a raise to $1250, and was denied.
-Gerwitz pitched the Tim White angle, and Stephanie insisted they go with it, despite reservations from everybody else in the company. Juvi/Kash was posistioned right after the angle on purpose, because it was figured the match following the angle would be crapped on. Kash decided to work the best match he could anyways instead of tanking it, and Juvi followed along. |

Charlie Haas is coming back? FINALLY!
Juvi is a retard, and I'm sorry, but the "and she speaks english" part was too awesome.
Juvi and Kash rule for sticking it to the man.
Samoa Joe as the next RIKISHI? I understand both are out of shape Samoans, but come on... Rikishi sucked, and Joe doesn't wear a thong to wipe his ass on everyones mouth.

Good news with Haas being brought back, they should reunite TWGTT for a couple of months and then have them work against eachother at Mania, but fuck, Shelton's about to have this thing with his "mama".
Yeah, Juvi is fuckin crazy.
Hmm, Samoa Joe with Rikishi's heel character from late 2000/early 2001, not too bad actually. He's already doing something similar in TNA with his vicious, outlaw attitude from what I've seen. Plus, Scrooge, Rikishi wasn't that bad at all, I really enjoyed him during his heel run.
How the company keeps this Gerwitz guy as one of their head bookers is really confusing. And Steph should just stay away from booking, ...forever.
And yeah, Juvi vs Kash was a real solid match, behind Chavo vs Rey from SmackDown 5/5, it was the best cruiser match from WWE I've seen all year.

But...Joe is under contract with TNA until 2008(?).
Scrooge McSuck - December 28, 2005 07:11 AM (GMT)
Pfft. TNA's contracts are about as valid as a piece of toilet paper.

That's why so many guys have jumped from TNA to the WWF after signing a contract. It sounds to me like Joe is just using the WWF to get a little more money out of TNA.

Do you have ANYTHING whatsoever to back that up? I'm sure you have some legal inside info to make a comment like that....unless it was just more mindless TNA bashing.

There's also rumors that New Japan has offered TNA Hiroshi Tanahashi for Final Resolution. Woo-Hoo if that's true.
Also Meltzer has a bad track record on TNA stars jumping to the WWF. Remember he completely bit on Abyss jumping last year. PWInsider also said it wasn't a big deal and Joe is probably getting his raise at the next tapings.

Tanahashi? WOW. I don't think people know how much a Joe/Tanahashi match would fucking rule.

Zach Arnold did an interview with Joe and he made it pretty clear he's not that interested in the WWF.

He's been quoted as saying that he would have to change his working style and that's not something he's willing to do.

AJ Styles has refused WWE contracts before, but as for wrestling style, I think Styles would fight right in with the "WWE style". The one exception might be that he can't do as much high flying, since WWE doesn't want many of the high flyers to take those spots anymore,
Scrooge McSuck - December 30, 2005 08:04 AM (GMT)
Styles refused contracts because WWE was offering him pocket change.
whitemilesdavis - December 30, 2005 01:04 PM (GMT)
Scrooge is correct. Styles has said before that if WWE made it worthwhile, he would go. You'd have to assume the same would hold true for Joe or anyone else for that matter. There's no promised future in wrestling. If you can get a big payday, you gotta take it.
Mad Dog - December 30, 2005 02:43 PM (GMT)
I don't think the WWF will ever make them a good offer. I mean their best offer to Styles so far was $500 a week.
Joe said he hasn't even talked to the company and the Gerwitz at RoH thing was a favor for a friend.
whitemilesdavis - December 30, 2005 02:59 PM (GMT)
I will say though, if they are gonna give Trevor Murdoch a push, Joe is 10x the worker Murdoch is, and actually has a better look.
