The Last Free Voice - December 26, 2005 09:58 PM (GMT)
"Stuff Her Stocking" was the best chant I've heard in a long time.

Mad Dog - December 27, 2005 05:13 PM (GMT)
AMW vs. Styles/Daniels from the New Year's Impact will probably make it on here.

jamiegeist - December 27, 2005 08:14 PM (GMT)
SPOILER! Damn you

Mad Dog - December 27, 2005 08:39 PM (GMT)
It's already been advertised on tv.

Scrooge McSuck - December 27, 2005 08:46 PM (GMT)
PW3NED~!!

Mad Dog - December 27, 2005 08:54 PM (GMT)
I might actually be able to fit 5 Impacts onto a 4 hour DVD as long as I don't do the PPV preshows.

Mad Dog - January 1, 2006 06:26 AM (GMT)
For those that watch Impact. Yes/no on Styles/Storm? I thought it was a pretty solid match and might consider putting it on.

Scrooge McSuck - January 1, 2006 06:31 AM (GMT)
This is going to be a "Best of"? I'd pass. The year just started and you don't want to put every questionable match on, otherwise it'll look like my sloppy tapes.

Mad Dog - January 1, 2006 07:13 AM (GMT)
AMW vs. Styles/Daniels isn't making it. While it was probably pretty good the commercials just brutalized that match.

Mad Dog - January 17, 2006 12:23 AM (GMT)
Thumbs up or thumbs down on adding the BG James promo and the music video right before it?

Scrooge McSuck - January 17, 2006 12:30 AM (GMT)
(thumbs up) BG James doing something great these days is a rare thing. :P

jamiegeist - January 17, 2006 06:40 AM (GMT)
Eh, I didn't think the promo was that great.

I have a hard time figuring out where this ends up going anyway. The fans don't really give a rat's ass about the James Gang, and even if you manage to convince X-pac to hang around, making a second rate DX to feud with LAX really won't captivate the crowd either.

They need to just seperate the James Gang from LAX for a bit, and then head back into it. With Team Canada attacking 3D at the PPV, I could see 3D needing a break, and a smaller team to work with...so....

3D and Team Canada (Roode/Williams, I guess) start up a bit of a feud. Meanwhile, James Gang gets interupted during their "Taag Team Champions of the Wooooooooo" by AMW, who says "Uhhh, who are the tag team champions?". Insta-feud, and re-establish some credibility for the James Gang by having them actually wrestle and get some chemistry back.

Meanwhile, LAX can constantly be a thorn in their side. It establishes a tag division other than the top feud, and gets alot of teams involved. You then would have 3D, AMW, Petey/Roode, James Gang, Naturals, LAX (Homicide/Apollo I guess...are they turning Konnan into a mouthpeice?)

Anyway, sorry. None of this belongs here. I wouldn't personally put the promo on a tape.

Scrooge McSuck - January 17, 2006 10:57 AM (GMT)
I have a better scenario: Fire Team Canada. all of them. They all suck except Petey Williams, and even he's incredibly overrated because he has the most business exposing move in the history of wrestling.

Mad Dog - January 17, 2006 03:56 PM (GMT)
What are you talking about? Eric Young's been great since he started the paranoid gimmick.

Scrooge McSuck - January 17, 2006 04:00 PM (GMT)
It's crap. Maybe if he worked something other than WWE Style, I'd like him, but a boring wrestler with a retarded gimmick that everyone would shit all over if it were WWE = Worth cutting.

Edit: I forgot, some of the Team Canada guys are D'Amores boys. Unless he leaves, they'll never get rid of them. :And who ever heard of evil Canadians? I could've sworn it was the FRENCH that hated Americans (and a bunch of Islam and Arabic countries)

jamiegeist - January 17, 2006 05:02 PM (GMT)
Team French-Canada then?

Yeah, I'm liking Young as well, and he is getting over with the Impact Zone.

Petey hit the Destoyer by running off the ropes while Sabin was hunched over, and it looked much more deadly, and much more realistic.

whitemilesdavis - January 17, 2006 06:08 PM (GMT)
I think Bobby Roode has a lot of potential. A-1 is the only true waste of space....other than D'amore, of course.

Scrooge McSuck - January 17, 2006 06:13 PM (GMT)
D'amore definitely makes things worse, and my biggest problem with Team Canada: they do the exact same finish for every fucking match, and you can only see them wrestle the same 2 teams enough before it gets boring. If D'Amore is a great booker, let him do it. There's no need to have him on TV every week sucking away TV time from the actual wrestlers.

TNA should have a revolving door of talent for the undercard to change things up. Team Canada has been around for 2 years and AMW for 3 1/2, and both are as fresh as 40 year old shit.

Real F'n Show - January 17, 2006 07:19 PM (GMT)
I like Team Canada, but seriously, a run-in on every single PPV main event is getting old. There's no reason they should be associated with Jarrett anyway...

Scrooge McSuck - January 17, 2006 07:40 PM (GMT)
Maybe Jarrett is a closet Maple Leafs fan.

jamiegeist - January 17, 2006 08:04 PM (GMT)
I'm actually having a small growth of interest in this Jackie Gayda storyline. I'm interested to see what her deal is, anyway.

She is pissed at Jarrett. She knows something about Canada. D'amore is jumpy about it as well. And she was looking for Raven at the PPV.

But really, don't we already know as viewers that the Canada thing was a screwjob? What more can they reveal about it.

Big F'N Swigg - January 18, 2006 03:20 AM (GMT)
I think Team Canada is a bit stale as well. Have them self-destruct over the "War" that Jarrett is currently starting.

And I LOVE geist's plan for the James Gang

Mad Dog - February 15, 2006 03:49 PM (GMT)
Saturday's show will cap off the second Impact DVD. I'll rewatch the borderline matches and see if any hold up for addition. Right now Dutt/Sabin vs. Aries/Strong, Aries/Strong vs. the Naturals and Abyss vs. Rhino are fence sitters.

Sting's promo has been added.

Mad Dog - February 16, 2006 03:42 PM (GMT)
I rewatched Abyss/Rhino. It's really borderline and the Gore through the set is making it a really hard decision. Anyone have an opinion on it?

Mad Dog - February 16, 2006 04:30 PM (GMT)
The Naturals vs. Austin Aries and Roderick Strong has been added to the list.

Mad Dog - April 2, 2006 04:23 AM (GMT)
A lot of stuff to rewatch on DVD #3. The James Mitchell video from last week makes it. Several matches I need to watch again to see if they get included.

Mad Dog - May 1, 2006 03:10 PM (GMT)
Update:

Abyss/James Mitchell invade Christian's home
Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe
Sting vs. Eric Young
Alex Shelley and Sonjay Dutt vs. Hirooki Goto and Minoru

dynamite kido - May 2, 2006 03:54 PM (GMT)
So are you up to three DVD's worth of stuff already?

Also, would you be up for a trade for these when they are all completed?

Mad Dog - May 2, 2006 05:24 PM (GMT)
I won't know the DVD count till the end of the year. I think I'm still under 1 as far as the best of goes.

Mad Dog - June 23, 2006 06:14 AM (GMT)
Recent adds:

James Gang 3-D parody
Kevin Nash vs. Mr. X

Samoa Joe vs. Senshi vs. Sonjay Dutt is on the fence as it might get an add for being a title change.

Mad Dog - June 24, 2006 09:39 AM (GMT)
I decided I'm going to add Joe/Dutt/Senshi since it was a title change. it wasn't a good match but it is an important tv moment.

Still on the fence is Jarrett/Raven and a Joe/Lethal defense that happened recently.

dynamite kido - June 24, 2006 06:39 PM (GMT)
If I was doing this MD, I would definately throw the three way on there since it was a title change. That and I'm sure at this point that there's worse matches on there than that one.

Also, I wouldn't put Jarrett/Raven on there as I thought it was terrible. But to each his own...

Mad Dog - June 24, 2006 07:14 PM (GMT)
Raven/Jarrett probably won't. It'll get another watch and then I'll see what I think.

Mad Dog - August 6, 2006 06:27 PM (GMT)
Christian Cage and Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner has been added.

SamoaRowe - August 7, 2006 02:25 PM (GMT)
I hope you added Rhino's anti-ECW promo from a little while back. That was a great promo. Also, Lethal/Jarrett was tremendous too.

Mad Dog - August 7, 2006 04:04 PM (GMT)
The Rhino promos are still up for grabs. I just haven't rewatched them yet.

SamoaRowe - August 7, 2006 05:02 PM (GMT)
Awesome. Also, what are the chances of you making copies and selling them when the project is complete?

Mad Dog - August 7, 2006 05:22 PM (GMT)
Pretty good. I just have to see how many discs it'll be and all that.

Mad Dog - August 8, 2006 08:46 PM (GMT)
Just to keep you updated. I'll probably be looking for $8 for this as long as it stays to 2 discs. If it goes over that I'll start adding $1 per
