I've been following Rocky since the Havana Pitbulls arrived in ROH in early 2004, and he's always been one of those guys that's been underrated to me. He can fly with the best of them, but also throws some neat MMA stuff into his moveset, along with cool submissions. Sort of like a Low Ki, but much better I think.

I saw a match of his from CMLL, a 6-man tag, and he clearly looked like the star of the match. He's a great heel and a good base for someone like Ricky Marvin to work with, but can also go himself.

So, what do you guys think of him, and how would you compare him to Ricky Reyes?

I actually prefer Reyes, but I like them both. Reyes being a more grounded wrestler, and just seems like a little more legit tough guy to me. I loved the tag team though.

I like Rocky, and he's clearly better than Reyes to me. Although to be fair, I love Ricky in his "I'm a little badass" role, and I actually like Rocky better as Black Tiger. Both of them are pretty wicked moveset-wise, I just think Rocky is more athletic, more smooth, and all around better.

I really like him, but I don't prefer him to Ki, cause Ki seems to have a little bit of an intangible that I can't really place.

I would take either of them over Low-Ki.

I like them in tag matches but they don't really click with me as singles.

Yea, I know there's a lot of Ki hate around here, but I like him. I should be allowed to get away with that tho, if Scrooge likes Kane.

I have no problem with Ki, I just have trouble buying his bada$$ act at 130lbs.

I'm the same way with Ki, but if you ever get to meet him...........that opinion might change. Keep in mind I'm WAY bigger than him and he damn near broke my hand when I shook his. Not to be a dick, because he was actually really cool........I just think that he takes himself DEATHLY serious.

When Rocky and Joe fought at ROH Gold, I actually believed Rocky could beat Joe. He did a great job.

I'm not keen on Romero's Black Tiger work to be honest. That's where I've seen most of his work outside of the Pitbulls.

Is any of his work in PWG worth checking out? I've heard he had a match with AJ at a PWG show that's supposed to be really good, anyone seen it?
