| Jay Lethal and Homicide were scheduled to start today at the TNA tapings. Lethal was scheduled against Joe, so that's a squash loss for sure. Homicide was to be in Konnan's new group, at least at some point. |

...And just the oher day I said that Lethal should be picked up by a bigger company than JAPW and RoH, and surprised that Homicide hadn't already.

I hope they don't just fuck off Lethal and make him a constant jobber though. he could be TNA's answer to Shelton Benjamin if done correctly.

Of course, now that Benjamin is jobbing to everyone, that might not be the best comparison.
I think if they put the work into Jay Lethal, he could do great things with TNA.

I don't think Lethal has the charisma to be more than a B tier X guy. Benjamin's probably going to be on the market next year anyway.

I maintain that TNA needs a TV Title for all these extra bodies. This roster just seems to keep growing, and with only an hour each week, its hard to get good storylines going for everyone.
I like a TV Title because the X title and World title are both equally prestigious to me. They don't have that lower tier.

Eh, I feel sorry for 'Cide being stuck with Konnan. They should bring in Low Ki and let the Rottweilers run wild. I wouldn't mind them doing the whole Rottweilers/Joe and Lethal feud all over again on a bigger stage, actually...

So, should Haas teammate up Lethal and form something along the lines of a "new" Self-Proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team?

I'm thinking they might actually do that, but Lethal isn't Shelton Benjamin. I'm thinking it wouldn't work nearly as well.

Haas and Lethal would be better as a face underdog team, I think. Lethal plays the face in peril so well.

They couldn't do that in TNA. Homicide could come across good in the ring but he's REALLY small. I wouldn't expect anything more than MAYBE X-division for him in TNA. The Rottweilers aren't right for TNA either. They'd have to bring in Smokes and that wouldn't fly in TNA and I don't think that Romero/Reyes would work well outside the x-division well there either. Since they wouldn't be able to get above that level, they'd be constantly stuck in shit with 3LK and whatnot. I'll pass.....

Well, not necessarily as a big push for the team, but a team nonetheless.
