Rikio, Morishima, Marufuji, and KENTA all worked a show in small town Iowa of all places last night.

KENTA and Ace Steel had an awesome, really fun live match.

Also met Harley Race, Sabu, and Brutus Beefcake.

I was actually surprised at how much enrish the NOAH guys knew.

I told KENTA I was a big fan of his work and enjoyed his match with Kanemaru at Destiny and he seemed to comprehend just fine. Some guy also kept calling Marufuji a spot monkey and Marufuji was taking it as a complement.

I was surprised at how nice Sabu was, too, I'd heard stories of him being an asshole.

Yeah, a lot of Japanese people understand English but not speak it. I believe they get taught English in school.

He can't look good.

Probably could have if I wanted to, but didn't really talk to him that much. Plus judging by the price of his merchandise, it would've been cheaper elsewhere.

By the way, whatever happened to Ace Steel? A few years ago he was one of the hot indy guys, then seemed to disappear.

I think people slowly started to realize Ace Steel is nothing special and that they could pay less for someone that brings similiar to your shows.

He was awesome on Saturday, though. Worked KENTA's leg, which is smart considering KENTA has a kick/knee based offense, and he also got tons of heat.

I should mention that KENTA's selling of the leg was really good, too.

Good for you RFS. I'm fucking jealous. To get to meet KENTA and Race in one night would be like the best thing EVAR.
