Raw spoilers for Dec. 19 show from Afghanistan

Big Show b Carlito with a choke slam

JBL did a promo as Santa saying the soldiers were bad, Afghanistan has no beer, canceled every holiday that you can think of, until yet another Santa comes out. This was Mick Foley. It ended up with Mick Santa vs. John Santaw Layfield in a comedy match with Foley winning with a double arm DDT and Mr. Socko

John Cena b Chris Masters, breaking the masterlock and using the FU

Lillian Garcia was freezing out having to wear her little outfit

Ric Flair b Jonathan Coachman with the figure four in an IC title match

Gene Snitsky b Shelton Benjamin with a high kick

Candice & Maria b Trish & Ashley when Candice pinned Ashley

Shawn Michaels b HHH in a Boot camp match with the superkick

WOW, they must seriously hate our troops.

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 04:12 PM (GMT)
(vomits) Wow... this makes last years effort look like WrestleMania X-Seven. I thought the point of the shows were the faces always go over.

Mad Dog - December 10, 2005 04:30 PM (GMT)
Isn't Flair breaking some law by leaving the country?

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 05:06 PM (GMT)
The airports would've detained Flair if he weren't allowed to leave, much like the situation with Lex Luger this week.

Yeah, because airports never make mistakes?

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 05:08 PM (GMT)
If they didn't, they need better security. Too worried about checking for nose trimmers and not enough on criminals.

Now, that is probably more than likely what happened.

Mad Dog - December 10, 2005 05:46 PM (GMT)
He'd have to be flagged in the system to not get out of the country. Considering he hasn't been convicted I doubt that would happen. The airport security has to know to stop him and let's be frank here. They've got about 5 million other things to worry about before Ric Flair.

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 05:50 PM (GMT)
Yeah... the 4 year old who brought her pair of safety scissors.

hey, that 4 year old might be working for terrorists.

Mad Dog - December 10, 2005 05:55 PM (GMT)
I would respond to that but it would be too political in nature.

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 05:58 PM (GMT)
It's a controversial topic to begin with. From my point of view, security in airports wastes way too much time looking for combs and safety scissors than actual criminals. I'm sure they would assault the person if they had a nail clipper with a file on it.

Mad Dog - December 10, 2005 06:01 PM (GMT)
Well that's what happens when you live in a society where offending someone is worse than a plane blowing up.

Mad Dog - December 10, 2005 06:02 PM (GMT)
Also...... a boot camp match?

Are we living in 1985?

No because I'd gladly take ANY Sgt. Slaughter boot camp match over another HHH/HBK match.

Mad Dog - December 10, 2005 06:08 PM (GMT)
Slaughter was at least a good brawler. Not something I can say for either HHH or HBK.

Your preaching to the choir brother.

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 07:57 PM (GMT)
I must be in the bizarro world... I'm not the one bashing an HBK match for once. :D

Triple H in 2000-2001 might've had a good brawling "match", but not these days and not with an opponent like Shawn Michaels, who...

1. Can't brawl effectivly unless it's the "I'm fighting a giant and getting my ass thrown around the ring" kind.
2. Can't sell long term in a match like that.

prof_plague - December 10, 2005 08:16 PM (GMT)
So, what exactly defines a "Boot Camp" match?

And are Michaels and Triple H going to have yet another feud soon? :(

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 08:20 PM (GMT)
Boot Camp match is fancy words for hardcore rules.

That's what I thought. ...Any point of having HHH and Michaels having a Boot Camp match?

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 08:37 PM (GMT)
HBK is rebelling against the rule of no gays in the military. :D

Big F'N Swigg - December 10, 2005 08:37 PM (GMT)
Is that the reason they rejected you?

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 08:38 PM (GMT)
No, I'm flat footed, and probably over the maximum weight.

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 08:50 PM (GMT)
There are no basement's in Florida... so from den. :D

jamiegeist - December 10, 2005 09:05 PM (GMT)
What the fuck? Benjamin jobbed to fuckin Snitsky! Come on.

And Candice and Maria were a team? And beat someone? Who the hell managed to execute a move in order to score a pin.

Scrooge McSuck - December 10, 2005 09:08 PM (GMT)
A terrorist ran in and threw sand in Ashley's face?

Yeah, as I thought this was Benjamin's comeback after Raw. The match better have an ending where Benjamin screws himself over and get pissed about...

So, I thought Candice was a heel diva manager/wrestler, and Maria was a face diva commentater/occassional wrestler?

eStragand - December 13, 2005 06:07 PM (GMT)
Quick aside story about the airport security and nose trimmers. Back in June, my dad and I were flying out. He smokes alot and the security workers confiscated his lighter. The security guy held it up like it was the frickin' Stanley Cup or the One Lighter to Rule Them All. My dad gave him all kinds of shit, but didn't get his lighter back.

We got to the terminal, waiting for the plane and I thought my dad's vacation would be ruined without his smokes. He said "oh, no problems. Fuck that guy" and reached into his bag to pull out THREE more lighters!

Scrooge McSuck - December 13, 2005 06:15 PM (GMT)
Stick it to the man! WOO!

smkelly13 - December 19, 2005 04:39 PM (GMT)
I don't understand why the WWE is ripping our troops up so bad. It's quick heat, but is it that bad in the WWE right now that they need cheap heat ? It's lame. As most of you know, I'm a United States Marine. I'm proud of it too. It really pisses me off when people bad mouth us, or any troops. I want to see the people who bitch do what I do for a living.

Yes, it's lame and yes, they are that desperate right now.

I think it's ridiculous to bring politics into wrestling in any way shape and form right now. It's not 1991. Politics are more volatile and not as black & white as they used to be.

Not to mention that I'm just tired of politics being involved in EVERYTHING.

The only slight exception os the Daivari/Hassan angle when they first debuted, but even then...
