Scrooge McSuck - December 5, 2005 08:50 PM (GMT)
So everyone knows, I decided not to vote for ROH or Puro for the obvious reasons (never watch).

Ok, how did Lesnar win a vote for wrestling once? That makes as much sense as saying ECW wasn't an Indy Promotion.

Mad Dog - December 5, 2005 08:51 PM (GMT)
He did win the IWGP Title and give New Japan the first shimmer of hope it's had in a few years.

Also, I'm probably the deciding vote on who wins MOTY.

Scrooge McSuck - December 5, 2005 09:02 PM (GMT)
There goes any hope a WWE match that doesn't include HBK will win. ;)

whitemilesdavis - December 5, 2005 09:14 PM (GMT)
So far, every vote I've given has won. I have a couple coming up that I KNOW noone else voted for though.

That was me, bitch.

dynamite kido - December 6, 2005 12:01 AM (GMT)
I think the Lesner vote was a good choice actually. It may only be one match, but he won a title that is actually somewhat important.

Ditto.

Real F'n Show - December 6, 2005 12:49 AM (GMT)
But still, Kobashi's year fucking dominated Lesnar's ye...um...match.

Why don't you ask MD where my vote went on that one?

It was aimed at Plague, and I know who you voted for.

All my choices are on top except I voted for Michaels as WWE MVP.

Mad Dog - December 6, 2005 12:57 AM (GMT)
Kido actually had 3 Puro MVPs.

I'm pretty sure that Benoit vote was mine.

jamiegeist - December 6, 2005 04:53 AM (GMT)
I also withheld my Puro and ROH votes due to lack of knowledge/exposure.

Glad to see Angle and Mysterio win the WWE MVP, as I remember being torn between them, and couldn't remember who I went with. I think it was Angle, as I was thinking who's absence would hurt the overall company more. I'm still not comfortable with that decision, so I'm glad they tied it up.

And whats with holding out on us....just give us some damn results!

Scrooge McSuck - December 6, 2005 11:28 AM (GMT)
I'm sure I voted for Benoit... or maybe that was Wrestler of the Year. Fuck, I'm losing it.

Mad Dog - December 6, 2005 09:22 PM (GMT)
QUOTE
Spot of the Year: Shelton Benjamin running the ladder and Hardy's swanton off the stage (3)
Jack Evans 630 on Abyss (2)
Kamikazi Kids 630 into a face plant (1)
Daniels Iron Man submission on Styles (1)

QUOTE
Feud of the Year: Rey Misterio vs. Eddie Guerrero (4)
Shawn Michaels vs. Hulk Hogan (2)
CM Punk vs. RoH (1)
Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles (1)
Converse vs. Corey Edsal (1)
Triple H vs. Batista (1)

Scrooge McSuck - December 6, 2005 09:31 PM (GMT)
Glad to see both my votes won those two (I picked the Benjamin spot from WM 21), but I would've picked Rey/Eddie regardless of Eddie's death. The storyline got me interested in Eddie again, who had been boring me for months in the later-half of 2004 and start of this tear.

Mad Dog - December 6, 2005 09:43 PM (GMT)
Rey/Eddie was kind of default for me. Nothing else really was on my radar.

jamiegeist - December 6, 2005 10:27 PM (GMT)
I voted Batista/Triple H. The Rey/Eddie thing was too silly, even for me. I was actually amped and hyped about Batista's long drawn out turn. Just his little looks and nuances made everything so great (which he lost most of now).

And I voted for the submission ending to the regulation in Daniels/Styles Ironman I. No other big hit spot really grabbed my attention this year, and I loved the visual of AJ bleeding as the time limit ran out.

Big F'N Swigg - December 7, 2005 02:47 AM (GMT)
I forgot about Benjamin running the ladder

SamoaRowe - December 7, 2005 04:32 AM (GMT)
I voted for Daniels/Styles, mostly because the "Best of X Division Vol. 1" dvd was still fresh in my mind, as was their feud going into Bound for Glory.

I also voted for Benjamin running up the ladder. It was the highlight of that entire match.

Scrooge McSuck - December 7, 2005 10:12 AM (GMT)
What about Kane bringing the... well, he wasn't a slouch in that match. Much better than him sleeping for 19 out of the 20 minutes of TLC IV. :D

QUOTE
Best Champion: John Bradshaw Layfield (3)
CM Punk (2)
AJ Styles (1)
Austin Aries (1)
Batista (1)
Jimmy Jacobs (1)
Slick Ric Converse (1)

Scrooge McSuck - December 7, 2005 03:21 PM (GMT)
I don't know if I picked someone for that... but I can guess who picked PM Sunk.

Mad Dog - December 7, 2005 03:23 PM (GMT)
No, you skipped that one for whatever reason.

Scrooge McSuck - December 7, 2005 03:39 PM (GMT)
It was too vague I thought. "Best World? Secondary? tag?" The scale for all of them is different, so there's no way I can make a pick that I'd be comfortable with. I would've said A.J. Styles just for the hell of it, but he lost anyway.

Mad Dog - December 7, 2005 03:42 PM (GMT)
Any and all was fair game really. I figured people would gravitate towards World Titles which they did.

SamoaRowe - December 7, 2005 04:47 PM (GMT)
Wow, who'd of thunk that JBL would win best champion in 2005?

Scrooge McSuck - December 7, 2005 04:50 PM (GMT)
I'd rather vote for JBL than Cena and Jarrett, and since TNA and WWE is my only chance to see wrestling, that's what I would be limited to. :(

whitemilesdavis - December 7, 2005 05:39 PM (GMT)
Glad to see CWF getting some love on this list. Don't know who threw those votes.

Most Hated: HHH (5)
Jeff Jarrett (4)
John Bradshaw Layfield (1)
Kurt Angle (1)

Scrooge McSuck - December 8, 2005 07:16 PM (GMT)
Glad to see everyone pretty much agreed on most hated. My definition of most hated is "who do I actually hate, not wrestling term hate".

SamoaRowe - December 8, 2005 10:53 PM (GMT)
I forget who I voted for... either HHH or Jarrett.

jamiegeist - December 9, 2005 06:27 AM (GMT)
I voted for JBL. I tried to vote for who I think is most hated in the every day fans eyes. To me, thats JBL. Triple H gets a massive pop when he comes out, because the general public doesn't "hate" him. They "love to hate" him. Big difference. Now me, and alot of people in the so called IWC, we fuckin hate the bastard. But I tried to vote in that manner, just for the record.

Who the heck is Hillbilly JeseHuss?

Mad Dog - December 9, 2005 04:17 PM (GMT)
I don't know, Cade and Murdoch maybe. Ask LFV as that was his pick.
