That Benoit/Regal match was BRUTAL. The usual stiff shit from these two, as they both get busted open hardway after a few of their headbutts together. It was a real stiff, fun, fun match, but both their Velocity matches are better.

Taker vs Orton is official, I'm looking foward to it.

So who does Batista defend the strap against at Armageddon? It looks like JBL and Rey are gonna have a match at the ppv, if not those three can have a 3 way, that could be pretty decent.

I'll also say Regal/Benoit was fucking awesome for an 8 minute TV match. While the one Velocity mat6ch I saw would rate around ****, this one seemed to be missing something in the transitions of the match. Still, an easy ***+ here. Regal/Benoit needs to happen more often on TV. B-r-utal.

I'm still watching, so I don't know what happens after that. (gets out the towel for Kane/JBL portions of match) I'm a hoss man, so sue me.

Because God hates me? Or someone still thinks Booker T is actually still worth anything, even though he's been buried countless times, was never that exciting to watch to begin with, and says "sucka" a lot.

Seriously I've hated pretty much everything the WWE has done on TV for sometime now. Even good matches haven't been that good to me. But that Benoit/Regal match on SD last night was FUCKING BOSS. One hell of a match. I want to see these two feud stat.

In a feud that should be treated like a main event, but is a midcard.

Promote Josh Mathews to Smackdown. He put over London/Akio as if it were Hogan/Andre from WM III, but he sounded 100% dead serious and wasn't trying to get heat on himself like certain other PBP men do.

I've actually thought that Josh Matthews has been decent and NON annoying since he started on commentary. Hell I'd much rather hear him than Cole, Coach, or Tazz.

I think Matthews at least still has the passion (and knowledge of what it's like to be a fan), which makes him good with commentating, unlike some of the other non-wrestlers on the roster.

He doesn't sound forced, and he actually mentions things that happend more than 4 weeks ago. Hell, he even name drops promotions wrestlers worked in that aren't "ECW" and "WCW".

...There are other promotions besides WCW, ECW, and WCW? Wow. Wait...which promotions has he said?

I've also heard him name drop ROH, All Japan, and New Japan wrestling as well as Zero One.

At least it's not like 10-15 years ago when WWF and WCW couldn't even acknowledge each other.

I turned on the TV and saw Coach calling Bischoff an asshole. I could have turned it off right then and have hit the high point of the entire night.

OK, I lied. Kane and Big Show pinning all three tag teams at once was pretty fun, and Coach saying "I object" followed by Vince's eyes bulging "SHUT UP!" was definitely the highlight of the night.

WWE actually did a backstage segment that was... good! I'm so proud of them, how long has it been since that happened?

Wow, that turned to be a good promo by Michael Hayes, decent segment but too long.

Ok, I don't care what anyone says, that segment with Edge and Michael Hayes was unbelievable. It might be too "insider" winkwinknudgenudge for some people, but my God was that tailor-made for me.

They really mention death a lot considering Eddie just passed.

I realize his gimmick is incredibly stupid and he has no ability in the ring so to speak, but I enjoy the Boogeyman.

That Edge/Hayes segment was gold, IMHO. It actually felt real, especially considering all the shoot comments.
