Title: In Living Color on BET!
Description: FINALLY!!

(dances) In Living Color was one of my favorite shows... before it turned to unwatchable dog shit (Season 4). I'll make sure to tape as many episodes as I can before BET yanks it from syndication.

I've been checking this stuff out when I get a chance myself.........
I used to LOVE this show when it was on originally.

After watching some of it recently I came to the conclusion that Jim Carrey carried that show on his back.

I would agree with that, but not until the third season or so. At first it was definately the Wayans that carried the show.

Homie the Clown was one of my favorite skits from that show.

That blew my mind back in the day.........and it still holds up.

I agree with MD. Once Damon Wayans left after Season 2, Jim Carrey basically carried the show. Fire Marshall Bill is still one of my favorite characters (other than Damon's Homie The Clown and Anton). In about 2 weeks, the Season 4 episodes will be running, and I wonder if they're as bad as I remember.

Anyone know why Damon left after Season 2? I'm sure it's because of his impending movie career.................but I'm not totally sure.

I know the rest of the Wayans' left because FOX executives was getting up in their faces over control of the show, but I'm guessing Damon did leave because of movie roles he was doing around that time.

Jamie Foxx had a pretty strong run with the Ugly Wanda stuff.

Wasn't that basically a rip-off of Jim Carrey's Vera DeMilo character?
whitemilesdavis - November 16, 2005 08:04 PM (GMT)
No. Other than both of them being in drag.

Anyone remember who replaced Jim Carrey as the token white guy of the show? And I'll say it again... Carrey totally carried the show once Damon left (but he did do a guest spot in the episode that just aired).
