Ok, here's the deal. I currently have two VCR's. One is for taping, and the other is for watching movies. The reason being is that the taping VCR is encoded and won't allow me to watch some DVD's. Since I know several of you are traders, I need help getting a VCR. Keep in mind, I'm not planning on becoming a trader, I just want to get down to one VCR. Anyone willing to offer help?

Strange as I've never had that problem. Maybe if you changed the configurement of the way all of the stuff is set up (TV, VCR, DVD player) you could do it without buying anything new.

No matter what I do, feeding a DVD player to my VCR gets me a scrambled picture.

How do you have things setup then for your TV? I'm assuming that you have a cable that comes out of the wall. Is that the case?

Ok, let me splain it to you...
From the wall to the cable box. From the cable box to VCR 1. From N64 to VCR 1. From VCR 1 to VCR 2. From DVD to VCR 2. From VCR 2 to TV. Which is too old, and doesn't have RCA hookups.
Flipping grand, let me tell you. Next time I move, I'm going to try to talk the wife into getting a better setup
