Title: Thrice
Description: They any good?
The Last Free Voice - November 3, 2005 01:32 AM (GMT)
I saw their new Video on FUSE yesterday and was shocked that it didn't suck. They any good, or was this a rare burst of decency?
TheGreatWhiteChoate - November 3, 2005 01:47 AM (GMT)
I think they suck, but then again, I don't usually like that type of music.
Big F'N Swigg - November 3, 2005 03:24 AM (GMT)
Again with the emo, LFV?
And yeah, it's probably just that one song.

I honestly don't like the emo style of music (Or dress, for that matter) at all. I'll like a song here or there, but it's more because they're unusal or somthing I haven't quite heard before.

honestly, I don't consider Thrice emo. At least not compared to the Emo I used to listen to.

The most emo shit I listen to regularly is the Cure. And right now I"m on the older, more Goth-rock Cure kick. Pornography is a great album.
dynamite kido - November 10, 2005 10:27 PM (GMT)
Fuck what ya heard...............The Cure ain't EMO.
Big F'N Swigg - November 11, 2005 12:02 AM (GMT)
Appleseed Cast, THAT is emo. The Cure is goth. Straight and simple
The Last Free Voice - November 11, 2005 12:33 AM (GMT)
Yea. I didn't mean to call the Cure emo. I was trying to say that they're the closest thing to emo I listen to.
Now on the whole "Goth" arguement, what exactly entails the "Goth" style? Would Joy Divison be considered Goth? I honestly don't know.

Yes. Joy Division are goth gods
The Last Free Voice - November 12, 2005 03:47 PM (GMT)
Ha. I feel slightly less poseurish now. Joy Divison rocks, but their stuff is hard to find around me. All I have is Substance. I can't find Unknown Pleasures anywhere...
Big F'N Swigg - November 13, 2005 12:36 AM (GMT)
That's why you shop online
The Last Free Voice - November 14, 2005 03:17 AM (GMT)
True. I keep forgetting I finally have a card of my own.
Big F'N Swigg - November 14, 2005 03:35 AM (GMT)
So you're a card-carrying skinny emo geek?
The Last Free Voice - November 14, 2005 03:57 AM (GMT)
I'm a card carrying skinny emo geek who just ordered Closer, Unknown Pleasures, and Greatest Hits from Bauhaus and Feilds of the Nephilim. Next order will be for Souxie and Sisters of Mercy.
Big F'N Swigg - November 14, 2005 04:02 AM (GMT)
Now you're a card carrying skinny goth kid.
You're the next Johnny The Homicidal Maniac
