Here's an interesting concept my friends. Let's try and find how many WWE has become just like their old competition, WCW. It doesn't have to be something major, just a way that WWE is just like WCW.

Let me start with #1:

Johnny Ace

#2: WWE booked a non-wrestling broadcaster to go over a former 4 time World Champion.

#3: Segments that make zero sense (see: Coach/Goldust/Funaki/McMahon/Batista/Vader segment on Raw this past week)

#4: return of Road Warrior Animal as an active wrestler (WCW early 2001)

# 5 - guys are buried upon arrival.

# 6 - most guys can't get past I.C./U.S. Title level.

In fairness to WCW they didn't give him a title in 2001.

#7- A good number of former WCW wrestlers are now sucking it up in the WWE.

#8 - Wrestlers named after genitalia. (WCW: Hugh G. Rection)

# 9 - Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan are still main eventing.

I had never heard that name. Hilarious.

#10 - Dusty Rhodes is booking.

#11 - Eric Bischoff is still a heel boss.

#12 - PPV's now contain matches unannounced without ANY build.

#13 - Belts are meaningless.

#14 - TITLES are buried.

#15 - wrestlers are cut and make strong impact elsewhere

16: Upward mobility has become near impossible except for a select few "breeded" (Bread?) to become main eventers.

17-The man in charge puts himself on screen because he thinks he's a better heel than most of the roster: Russo in WCW, McMahon('s) in WWE

Don't forget Eric Bischoff had a pretty large role on TV. Being the Vice-President of the company makes it a better comparison to the WWF's Owner, but Russo booking himself to wrestle and WIN matches kinda wins the debate of which is the bigger evil.

All that matters is that Vince & Vince were each in control of the content of the programming

Nope... they debutted him as a MAIN EVENT singles mystery opponent.
