Title: Two stars injured...
Description: ... Scrooge may want to sit down...

Edge has a partial pec tear and is out of action. We're under the impression it will not require surgery and have not been given an estimate of how long he'll be out of even if he'll try and gut through the PPV on Tuesday. His status for Taboo Tuesday is questionable.
Kane, who just came back after a long storyline hiatus after being replaced by Matt Hardy in the Edge/Lita storyline, also suffered a significant back injury Monday night at Raw and is also out of action. We don't have an update from after Monday but it was feared he suffered a broken back on the superplex spot from Big Show and he was in tremendous pain the rest of the match. His status for Taboo Tuesday is also questionable, much moreso than Edge's.

Just yanking you, Kane's really hurt. B)
Scrooge McSuck - October 29, 2005 03:23 AM (GMT)
The Bad News: A broken back probably means hes done.
The Good News: I no longer have to watch Raw!
SamoaRowe - October 29, 2005 03:28 AM (GMT)
Good, now he can film a sequel to See No Evil, or whatever the fuck that straight to TV but was supposed to be in theaters movie was called.
Scrooge McSuck - October 29, 2005 03:30 AM (GMT)
:(... (hangs up black towel and pair of cheerleader panties in honour of Kane)
I need to see that movie... KAAAAAAAAAANE~!~!
SamoaRowe - October 29, 2005 03:32 AM (GMT)
It's also amusing how you completely no sold Edge's injury B)
Scrooge McSuck - October 29, 2005 03:33 AM (GMT)
A particially torn pectoral muscle isn't as serious as a broken back.
And I hate (the) Edge.
SamoaRowe - October 29, 2005 03:35 AM (GMT)
See, exactly. What if the injuries had been the other way around? You'd probably have a similar reaction :P
Scrooge McSuck - October 29, 2005 03:36 AM (GMT)
I hate to sound... cold, but I was begging for it to be John Cena and Triple H. GOD DAMN YOU WRESTLING GOD'S! WHY DO THE GOOD ALWAYS DIE SO YOUNG?!?! [/smithers]

Your point being?
SamoaRowe - October 29, 2005 04:05 AM (GMT)
I wouldn't want to see Cena go down with an injury, but I think karma owes Triple H something...
Scrooge McSuck - October 29, 2005 04:09 AM (GMT)
This easily explains why Kane looked like he was out of place and doing shit wrong all match. It's not fair dammit! He's too good of a person to get this kind of injury!
Sure, he fucked a dead corpse, desicrated his parents' graves, attempted to murder his half-brother, brutally beat his father, raped Lita, tried crushing HBK's throat, put Shane in bondage to roast his nuts, and was on the verge of invading RVD's anal regions, but he's good people!

You guys seriously just had the lonest conversation I've ever seen on a message forum between two people in one thread.
That sucks about both wrestlers. Even though I'm not a fan of Edge, I do not wish injury upon them.

Wow, what a true wrestling fan! [/sarcasm]

Smackdown pretty much blew Raw away, and it was probably "Average" on the rating scale... that's not the best compliment, eh?
Mad Dog - October 29, 2005 04:25 PM (GMT)
I thought Smackdown sucked. The midgets took up way too much time.
Scrooge McSuck - October 29, 2005 04:32 PM (GMT)
The opener was entertaining, the 4-way tag was decent enough to not suck (And got the titles off of OLD Animal and Heidenreich), and the main event was harmless fun.
SamoaRowe - October 29, 2005 05:42 PM (GMT)
I missed Smackdown this week due to work and being too lazy to set a timer. It sounded like a good show outside of the Simon Dean, midget crap.
And I'm pretty sure Scrooge and I have had longer threads in the past, mainly in Random Stuff. That's what happens on Friday nights when me and him are the only two people on the board.
Big F'N Swigg - October 29, 2005 09:30 PM (GMT)
I hate to say it, but I enjoyed the Simon Dean/midget segments.
Scrooge McSuck - October 29, 2005 09:44 PM (GMT)
It was harmless fluff, but they could've used better midgets for the match instead of El Generico Uno and El Generico Dos, who used Doink the Clown's gag from 1993.

They're named El Generico Uno and El Generico Dos? Do they at least look like El Generico?
prof_plague - October 30, 2005 10:52 PM (GMT)
Poor Kane. He just made his return, and he gets injured.
Edge...he'll bounce back in less than a month, or so.
Scrooge McSuck - October 31, 2005 01:01 AM (GMT)
Well, there is good news...
- It is feared that Kane has a broken vertebrae in his back and may miss Taboo Tuesday. An OVW talent named Jack Bull was scheduled to be called up to do a program with Kane following Taboo Tuesday but WWE has told him that those plans are now off which shows concern that Kane will be out for awhile.
- Edge continues to suffer from a chest/pec injury. It is unknown if he will work Taboo Tuesday.
The cloud is a possible broken back, but the silver lining is Kane dodged the bullet on another feud where he has to make some other untalented piece of shit yanked off the street last week look good (see also: Snitsky).

Jack Bull:

It looks like Jim Duggan and Steve Lombardi had a love child. I bet my freedom he sucks in the ring.

Don't worry. You can nurse him back to health.
