Title: Favorite Game System of all time.
Description: Lots to choose from.

I have to stick to my roots. The original NES will always have a fond place in my memories.

I have to go Super NES. A good chunk of my favorite games were for the system, and I still have my old one to break out when I want to. Just the best system of all time.

I would probably have picked SNES if I had actually owned one. Though in the past couple of years, my girlfriend and I have spent many hours using her SNES and I have to say, I love it.

Although Playstation2 is the current winner for me, NES gets the vote.
I was actually an avid Genesis player, and a defender over the SNES. Loved the first Mario Game on SNES...Super Mario World I guess it would be. That thing was just like crack.
I play NES games all the time on my emulator, and used to break out the old system when I had a bunch of guy roomates. We'd play Tecmo Super Bowl, Dusty Diamond All Stat Softball, Baseball Stars, Paperboy, just for hours and hours.

NES. Too many classic games. Fuck modern technology. I'd rather play the original Metroid than some of the goofy shit they put out on Gamecube.

Whoever voted for Dreamcast is getting a visit from theit molesting uncle.

Haha, very nice... very classy.
Oh, and who voted for "other?" I know I probably missed some earlier game systems, but Atari was the only one that came to mind when I made the list.

| Pong? |
Hehe, what a classic that game is. I remember playing it during a computer class and the teacher kept calling on me for answers since it was obvious I was distracted.

Super Nintendo all the way for me. Currently have 60-some games for it (and counting). I suppose NES and Genesis would be in second place.
Big F'N Swigg - October 29, 2005 09:36 PM (GMT)
You forgot Neo-Geo, Turbo something or other, and the Atari Jaguar.
Scrooge McSuck - October 30, 2005 09:01 PM (GMT)
Neither of those are better than some of the worst systems listed.
prof_plague - October 30, 2005 11:21 PM (GMT)
Let's see, what are some of the forgettable consoles?
Intellivision
Coleco
R-Zone
Sega Masters
Sega CD
Sega 32X
Sega Nomad
Scrooge McSuck - October 30, 2005 11:45 PM (GMT)
Is Sega Masters in any way related to... ah fuck it, it's a stupid joke.
Sega Master System ruled motherfucker! Walter Payton Football! Rocky! Double Dragon! Wonder Boy III! ALF!~ AND MORE~!!!

But still forgettable.
And yes, we all know Sega Masters is the cousin of Chris Masters. ...Slow, stiff, and causes injures.

I gotta admit, the system was kind of a piece of shit... but it had 2 games built in, so you didn't need to buy another game to actually use it. I still mine somewhere, but it takes up far too much space, and I only have about 6 games left for it anyway (Not counting built in, of course).
S.T. Strickler - October 31, 2005 01:14 AM (GMT)
The Sega CD was sorta good. Only games that I remembered well was Snatcher, Shining Force CD, Lunar 2, and Willy Beamish.
Scrooge McSuck - October 31, 2005 01:22 AM (GMT)
WWF had a game for it too... it's basically Royal Rumble, with about 10 more wrestlers, but all you could do was singles matches (I think), so having the Head Shrinkers and Nasty Boys didn't mean too much.

I actually liked the Neo Geo and the Turbo Grafix. They were fun. I wouldn't say they were the best ever, though. And the Jaguar could've been good, but Atari still had the "pong" stigma when the Jaguar came out.

Love how that stigma thing works out. Like with Nintendo right now making "kid's games"....because there's no beer or hookers in them. Fuck the media.
