Title: London vs. Akio
Description: from VELOCITY
Real F'n Show - December 5, 2004 07:17 PM (GMT)
Anybody else see this? I just watched it (taped it last night because I had to work) and thought it was the best Velocity match since Rey/Noble earlier in the year. London almost broke his neck during the match, and I can't believe he was able to finish after that. The replay of it from a different angle was SICK. And then they proceed to just kick the ever loving shit out of each other and London ends it with a flying DDT from the second rope. I'm deciding if I liked it better than the triple threat from Raw for Match of the Week.

If that bump was planned, London is crazy.
Real good match for the short amount of time it was alotted. In a perfect world WWE would notice the praise it's getting over the net and run with it, but sadly it will probably mean nothing.

Welcome to the boards man. I don't think the bump was planned, but I could be wrong. I think they were going for London landing on his feet on the apron. But I also noticed that the ref didn't check on London, so maybe it was planned. These guys NEED to be on Smackdown. Now.

I heard a lot about this match since it happened (which surprises me considering I didn't think anyone watched Velocity anymore), it doesn't surprise me though as both guys are talented and among the most wasted talent the WWE has right now.

You really should watch Velocity man (or tape it if your busy Saturday nights like me). There's usually some very solid matches on it, and sometimes great ones like this match. Plus DeMott and Mathews are the best announcers WWE has right now other than Taz.

I watched Velocity specifically for this match. I really loved it, but I wish it was longer. London's bump off the ropes make me wince though.

I catch it occasionally, but usually I have little faith for them to deliver a good show. I will say though that Velocity has more wrestling on it than any other WWE program, so you're probably right......I SHOULD watch it more.

This was probably one of my favorite matches on Velocity this year, oddly enough my list had lots of repeats...and are all London matches minus 1...
2 vs. Jamie Noble (although the 1st one was much better), 2 vs. Akio (1 in September, and this one), and Chavo vs. Ultimo Dragon from 3/20, and actually got 10:00. Probably other gems, but I'm thinking off the top of my head. I make sure to usually watch Velocity, since it has the best matches IMO.
