| Hot Stuff: Harlem Heat are the freakiest wrestlers of all time. No photograph or television picture can come close to seeing these two gigantic hunks in the flesh. I hope they can stay as champs. Harlem Heat are THE Tag Team. - Linda Solvang (a.k.a white porker), Summerhill, MA (correction: retarded white porker) The Steiner Brothers should stay in Japan where they can protect their over-rated reputation. If they return, Harlem Heat, will tear them apart limb from limb. Steiners save your lives, keep away from the heat, it will burn you down and can never be extinguished. - Paul Simmonds (a.k.a Jim Hellwig), Norman, OK During Black History Month I asked my pupils to bring in pictures of black people who are important to them. I was surprised given their antics, when several of the children brought in pictures of Harlem Heat (yeah, right). I asked them why and they told me it was because they had become winners (front runners), they care about their looks, they are skilled (Stevie Ray?!) and talented (Stevie Ray?!) and they are exciting too watch (no, that isn't MY typo). It's a pity they are rulebreakers because they could do so much good if they ever had a change of attitude. - Patricia Connelly, Bethelhem, PA PPV on TBS: I am a big fan of WCW Wrestling, but unfortunately, I cannot afford to purchase the PPV's (poor bitch), Isn't there any way they could have the highlights broadcast on a TBS Special even if it was one month later. I am sure it would please a lot of fans and encourage people who can afford them to buy the PPV shows. - J Ildreth, Marion, OH One Shot: Why does the number one contender always get several shots at the title. If he fails to win it first time around then he should go back into the mix and work his way back into contention. Their should only be a rematch if the Champion loses. This would give everyone a chance at a title shot. - Dan LeFan, New York, NY Applause: I would like to applaud the decision of Nick Bockwinkel to strip Vader of the U.S. Title. I think Vader is a highly skilled and probably best ever big man in the sport. However, that does not give him the right to do as he pleases. Flair also should have suffered some kind of penalty as well (he did... jobbing to Hogan every night). Get well soon, Dave. - Bob Brooks, Ontario, CAN More Poetry: Here are my poetic efforts; (cocks pistol and holds to head) Ric Flair Crooked teeth and crooked smile, Yet egotistical all the while, Stupd walk and pointless talk, You can't deny, Ric Flair is vile Sting Quick, smart (HA!), agile and strong, Most of his matches don't last long, He paints his own face, No one can take his place, Because they can't keep up the pace. - Julia Cassis, Tampa, FL The Bash Is Back: As a loyal WCW fan, I could not help but rejoice when I heard and read the news about the return of one of the greatest WCW events---The Great American Bash. Over the years, I have managed to collect all of the Bash video tapes from the first Bash in 1985, up to the most recent Bash in 1992. Some of the greatest matches ever took place at the Great American Bash. Who could ever forget the very first WAR GAMES match from Bash '87, or the Tower of Doom from Bash '88, or (this run on sentence) the night Sting won the title from Ric Flair at Bash '90? With the 10-Year anniversary of the first Bash coming this summer, perhaps a new decade of the Great American Bash will begin. I hope so. In closing, let me give my thanks to the powers-that-be at WCW for re-instating the greatest wrestling card of all time (which is unlikely, unless they book the same matches from whichever card you speak of). - Bill Knight, Prodigy (a.k.a Fake writer trying to sound smart) Action Figures: I am very happy that a new set of WCW Figures have been released, but they are only in the USA. How can I get them in England? - N Hawkins, Tiverton, Devon Inspiration: I am a 15-year old girl who is training to be a boxer (Paul Roma?). I am only a girl in the gym. I would like to thank Johnny B. Badd for serving as my inspiration as I try to become a professional. He always says "Go for your dreams", and that is what I am doing. My first match is coming up and I am going to dedicate it to Johnny, who I credit for giving me the courage to start boxing. Good luck, Johnny. - Jane Brough, Brigham, UT My Top 5 Matches: Here are my top 5 matches in WCW/NWA History: Ric Flair vs Lex Luger, Wrestle War '90; Flyin' Brian vs Lex Luger; Halloween Havoc '89; Ric Flair vs Ricky Steamboat, Wrestle War '89; Ric Flair vs Sting; Clash 1; and Ric Flair & Sting vs. Great Muta & Terry Funk, Halloween Havoc '89. - D. Burford, Staffs, ENG And my personal favorite... Never Too Old: I am a 66-year old great granny (STUNT GRANNY!) and I adore Hulk Hogan. I thought Uncensored was the best even yet (I guess you get senile at 66) with the highlight being the appearence of Renegade (even more senile). Please release the show on video (masochist). I know Renegade will protect Hulk Hogan and Jimmy and I wish him well. Please do a feature on him or publish a poster of him alone or with Hulk. How can fans write to their favorite wrestlers. (didn't end with a question mark, despite being an obvious question) - Jerrie Rasco, El Cajoni, CA |
