A man known as Milwaukee's Greatest Wrestler has died. Reggie Lisowski was known as Da Crusher. His family says doctors found found a brain tumor in Lisowski this past May. Lisowski was 79.

Did the AWA Title ever really matter though? It was mostly just Gagne's play thing because the NWA didn't give him a serious run. I guess it might've meant something in the 70s when Bockwinkel was the champ.

Yeah, it meant something. When it was getting defended by Rick Martel and Nick Bockwinkle in Japan against Jumbo Tsuruta.

I don't know...... I don't think it was a fair payoff for Jumbo to win the AWA Title but then have to make Greg Gagne look like a competent wrestler.
