Title: I Hate Lawler

So I've been watching the Road Warriors and 80s DVD and he's just worthless doing comments. The other guys like Flair, Arn, Animal and everyone else kind of get that you have to break kayfabe a little bit to not sound like a retard but not Lawler. He's also annoying because he has to put himself over constantly. Talking about the wrestling the Road Warriors while talking about Hawk he was trying to put over the Piledriver.

I have to say the DVDs are really well done. Too bad they can't put this effort into the actual product.

I hate Lawler because he's a perverted idiot who has been using the same jokes for 7 years. He used to be entertaining on the broadcast team back in 1993-96, but since the Attitude era, he tries way too hard at being "hip" and "cool", failing miserably.

Hopefully if Ross is gone (although i doubt that long-term), they'll realise that he was being carried, so to speak, by Ross and dump him.

However - he's even worse doing his Memphis Wrestling thing thats shown here on the wrestling channel

I actually did miss having J.R. on commentary last night. However, I can envision myself getting used to him being gone.

Now that I think about it Lawler goes out of his way to put over the Piledriver in every segment he's done on WWF DVDs that I've seen.

Lawler's the most overrated wrestler in the history of the business. The only thing he should get credit for is creating Hulk Hogan. The reason why I said that is because Lawler/memphis invented the "bring in heels and feed them to the top babyface until they burnout and get them out of the territory" idea.

Lawler was not a good wrestler, and is even a worse announcer, but he did great business in Memphis for a long time. Not sure why, but he must have been doing something right. Personally, I'm glad JR is gone. I hope Lawler is soon to follow.
