I know we don't have many horror lovers here, but I thought this might be something at least Scrooge would be interested in.

These aren't out yet on DVD and they haven't been released in the theatre's anywhere either. They are premiering them tonight at starting at 7 pm and it'll be the first showing of them ANYWHERE.

Anyone going to check these out?

OH! (times VCR) You are a God! (dances) Hopefully Sci-Fi doesn't clip these up too bad in terms of gore (I could(n't) care less about language), but either way, it's a free preview if I like it enough to endorse the R-rated version on DVD.

...And just my luck. Sci-Fi networks audio craps out. The dialogue sounds like it's in mono and the music for everything is blasting. Great...

Well so far you haven't missed anything if you didn't check out part 4. It was about as shitty of a horror film as you could possibly have. Maybe part 5 will show some more promise......................or not.

I watched a little bit of "Day of the Dead" earlier today. not bad. Next week the wife is out of town so I may rent a few horror flicks and cry myself to sleep

Uh-oh, when DK bashes a horror movie, I don't have too much confidence... oh well, it's 2 a.m. and I got nothing better to do. (pops in tape) Thank God my VCR functions allow me to switch from stereo, otherwise I wouldn't even bother.

Fuckin' Sci-Fi.

Edit: Well... this is interesting. 50 minutes into the 2 hours, I still haven't seen 1 element of comedy, the acting was worse than the first 2, and the plot just now started taking shape, while the first 2 (yes, even the not-critically aclaimed 2nd) got to the point in the first 15 minutes.

Edit #2: FINALLY, after 75 minutes, we get some zombies!... and I really didn't need to see someone being ripped apart like that. I thought Zombies only liked brains in these ROLTD movies.

Yeah, apparently whoever wrote or made these two forgot to watch the first two to see how the rules should be setup. I was rather dissappointed to find out that they could be killed with a shot to the head, considering in the original they were basically indestructable.

Shot in the head?! They were being shot in the body and going down in the 4th! I didn't dare watch the 5th yet.

As bad as the fourth one was................I actually thought that Rave to the Grave was much better. It's still bad, but there's one thing in it that makes it worth watching......................RETURN OF TARMAN!

Scrooge McSuck - October 18, 2005 09:51 PM (GMT)
TARMAN!? (pops in VHS) WOOO! I love that slimey son of a bitch.
