I remember lurking there and being too intimidated to post because it was the elite wrestling board on the net. I enjoyed stopping in a couple times a month and checking out what they had to say. I noticed this summer that the quality took a huge nosedive over there. It seems like most of the quality people are gone and it's just the usual generic smarks that hate everything.

Any clue when this happened?

They kept closing out my accounts because months would go by without me posting. Now it sounds like someplace I'd probably post more, since I wouldn't feel like one of the stupider posters :D

Meh, maybe it's me..............but I don't think it's too bad there...........then again I don't go there THAT often.

It's gotten much worse since the restart.

I noticed a huge drop after the restart. Spelling and grammer have even taken a huge hit there as well. Not as bad as TSM or 411 but getting there.

The influx of useless threads is getting out of hand.

I signed up during the whole craze with the Urban Legends thread, posted a few times, then realized it wasn't as much fun having nothing to say when the people who are insulting you mean it...

Most smarks suck. I think some smarks forget that the point of being a smark is to be a mark.

Yeah, the last few months have really turned me on smarks. The anti-smarks are just as high on the jackass list though.

But 90% of the net smarks give all of us a bad name. They really are never happy with anything as opposed to those of us that have a list of things we want to see change. A lot of the negativity towards TNA has opened my eyes to that. Here was a company giving smarks almost everything they could ask for over the summer and they still bashed the shit out of it.

This is why I like DWB because I think most of us here have valid opinions and back them up. I trash WWE sometimes, but I like to think I do so when they really deserve it. I still think WWE has some entertainment value, so I haven't given up on it yet. I still think 2002 was the absolute worst time for them quality-wise, and I like to think that if I stuck through that time, I'll be able to stick through forever.

And I hardly have anything negative to say about TNA right now. I wish they'd used The Naturals and Samoa Joe on Spike TV by now, but I won't get worried (unless I don't see them by the fourth show).

2-3 posters there who were Dutch thought it would be funny to hack the place, to the pint where the whole board needed to be re-done. And now a lot of "y2j80567" type posters are signing up, if you know what I mean...

I hate most smarks because they tend to think a match needs to be "OMG!**************3/4!" to be an entertaining one. I know I'm a smark a bit, but I also enjoy most wrestlers who aren't what I call "Smark Darlings."

For example: Hardcore Holly, Orlando Jordan, Viscera, You-Know-Who, You-Know-Who #2, and Rene Dupree.

I liked the Haas and Holly tag team quite a bit. They should've beaten MNM eventually. Not the Hoss Warriors.

Heidenreich isn't that bad either now that you mention it. It's because he's 6'7" and 300+ pounds that everyone automatically labeled him as "sucks."

Personally, I label him as "sucks" because I don't enjoy watching his matches.

Plus, I like this place anyway because there isn't any trashing of stuff that people haven't seen. I fucking hate reading when people trash something and they haven't even seen it. Fucking morons...............that's what mainly turned me away from TSM, besides the fact that 90% of the posters there are fucking hard on's.

I left TSM because 90% of the posters are hard-ons, the new mods were worse, and 50% of the board didn't even watch wrestling

Same here, but I really decided to stop posting there when there were talks of actually getting rid of all the wrestling related stuff and throwing it into one wrestling folder.

I left because I found a better (and more enjoyable) alternative in several smaller forums, this one including.
