Well? Who's tried the game out, what's the low down?
I tried the free download once. Thought EWR was miles ahead of it.
I tried the free trial too, and while it does have some neat features, it takes too damn long to book matches to the point where it really isn't a whole lot of fun. EWR is much better.
I downloaded the new one just yesterday and here's my opinions:
Pros -
Being able to set matches up in advance is a nice feature.
A, B, C, etc is a better rating system than what he had for the last version of the game but not quite as good as the number system in EWR
Workers improve as they work.
It keeps track of title defenses.
You can decide match length.
Title pictures.
Cons -
Staff is mixed in with your roster so you have to go through everyone finding your road agents and who can book well.
It's too involved to really move quickly. It took me a long time to figure out where to go to book a location. Setting up a show takes a good while too. You could book several shows on EWR for what it takes to do on this.
Made up wrestlers and those made up wrestlers don't all have pictures. If I'm going to pay $35 for something I want a finished product.
Too complicated. There's a lot of hoops to jump through. I haven't even figured out how to alter pushes yet which should be the most basic thing in the game.
Storylines are impossible to figure out.
