As you know, my ongoing diary has covered from mid-July 2006 until March 2007. The game started in September 2003, so there was a lot that has happened. I kept my pay-per-view cards archived, so I figured I'd gradually post them here, trying my best to make sense of them (for a while I was pretty much just booking whatever I felt would get good match ratings, no logic invovled).

Smackdown was shaken by the arrival of AJ Styles in September. On his very first night, he blindsided Rey Mysterio and challenged him for the Cruiserweight title. Styles won, thanks to his feet on the ropes. Styles was feeling pretty good, until fellow newcomer Paul London wanted to make an impact as well.

Head booker Ernie Rowe fired Lesnar immediately after the Lesnar/Benoit match, promising that Lesnar would never work for the WWE again.
