Actually I would rather see a live rendition of the Welcome back, Kotter theme song compared to seeing that match. It's not that I hate that match THAT bad...........I just really like the Welcome back, Kotter theme song.

Who doesn't? It's a catchy theme, like Car 54 Where Are You? ... Oh god dammit, now I'm gonna have it stuck in my head for a week.

I'm not just not interested at all in that Ironman match.

The bias in me wants to hate the match, but with it being only 30 minutes, I think it will come off well. Just look at (I think) Steamboat/Rude from a WCW PPV in 1993. They had a pretty good Ironman Match that went 30 minutes. Also, I forgot about the Benoit/Angle 30 minute Ultimate Submission, which came across very good as well.

The ladder match sounds decent. That's what I'm in for.

The Steamboat/Rude match was from Beach Blast '92. Probably my favorite iron man match behind Bret/Owen.

Also don't forgot about the Smackdown match on the show (which I think will be an Elimination Chamber)...

Not sure anyone else caught it, but again thanks to the magic of DVR I managed to watch the Best of RAW Top Ten(ish) thing on USA tonight. It was very cool, filled with good interviews, tons of good classic footage, and acknowledgement of things I didn't expect. Mainly Sunny, Chyna, Jarrett, Dudleyz. Good to see them using clips of people doing other things not in their best interest, and not being grunge-holding a-holes about it. Highlighting the Owen Tribute RAW was also really nice and got me all choked up again. I haven't seen any of that show since first viewing.

Yeah, it was a good show. I watched it last night. For anyone that's interested it'll be on tonight after RAW on USA.

I'm actually really pumped for the show tonight. Most I have been since the Michaels/Benoit Showdown in the Desert, probably.

I'm definitely taping tonight, but I also have to tape the UFC special on SpikeTV. Damn one night only version of the Monday Night Wars. :(

I'm bored to tears with the new crop of UFC guys. The only one's I like are Diego and Forrest.

Tito and Chuck come off as huge pussies after watching guys like Silva and CroCop destroy people in Pride.

Raw it is for me.

Yeah, I was going to tape Raw and watch UFC live but I'm just way too excited for Raw now to do that.

I have my compilation tape all set up for the festivities.

I'm taping the whole show, but I'll probably edit out the womens tag, because it's a waste of space, and I have access to 1,000,000,000 options of pornography on the internet. "OH! Women in their underpants! This is way better than a hot girl taking it everywhere!"

Anyways... I may end up taping most of the show. I know I'm going for the HBK/Angle match and I'll probably add the Cena/Bischoff match because I would have fun roasting it in a review.

Roasting HBK/Angle and praising Cena/Bischoff? Sounds good to me. :)

Hehehe, yeah. I think my opinion of HBK matches while I'm reviewing depends on what kind of new stuff I've heard about him that week. In the last reviews I wrote where I roasted HBK over a flame, I was pissed about his CM Punk comments.

And Bischoff/Cena will be a definite ***** classic, rest assured :)

Cena/Bischoff will make HBK/Angle look like Roberts/Neidhart from Heroes of Wrestling.

Anyone else logged into that WWE Unlimited thing? Nothing is happening so far, just an obnoxious graphic that Raw is on.

For some reason, watching the USA Network for Raw feels good again. Of course, that'll be destroyed in 2 minutes.

So, ladder match was ok. A few good spots, but not that great overall. At least hardy is headed to SD.

Hm...Triple H wasn't exactly working out everyday with his time off. So, how long will he be face? Well, before he eventually turns on Flair and have reform Evolution with Carlito and Masters. (I'd say they both turn, but I want to say HHH turns on Flair because of that bloodied angle a little while back.)

I hope HHH's time off changed him, at least a little.

PS - DiBiase!!! Awesome. Of course it was easy to get him seeing he works for the WWE. He's on air for a few seconds, and already in character.

To the surprise of no one, Triple H turns heel even though the crowd popped huge for him. DOUCHE PUNCHES~!

Good lord. I thought they were going for the ultimate heel with Triple H, you know, by having him kill Ric Flair. It makes a real statement on one's badassitude when you beat the shit out of a 50 year old man.

Wow, even when they're trying they can't put out a solid effort. Now they have to rush through 3 million segments because they managed their time poorly.

That segment ruled, but I'm a mark for old wrestlers. The Von Erich claw got me marking. :P

Now they have 3 matches and Hogans appearence to rush through with 30 minutes left.

I miss the days when the WWF used to book shows based on their stars and didn't depend on guys from 20 years ago to draw ratings.

Though I like how Triple H and Vince have been treated like the biggest stars ever during this evening.

Overrun will go even longer says J.R. Thank God... no way they can get through 3 matches in 25 minutes.

That extra long overrun is for another Triple H promo.

Tonight's really reminding me of how tiring those 3 hour Nitros used to be.

Please God, get this show over with. I was actually pumped the first hour, but the combined efforts of Austin/Linda and HHH/Flair just sucked the soul out of me. At least I have Hogan to look forward to... is Kane at the arena? :D

Hogan lays out the cards for a match with Austin. At least he kept it short, considering the severe lack of time.

Wow. I'm no physical specimen myself, but Triple H looked like shit. His stomach looked alot wider, he had some back fat, and his pecs were looking like Rocky's circa 98. What the hell has he been doing? Eating cheetos?

Not to mention he almost killed Carlito on a backdrop. I'm seriously disapointed in his return. Its one thing to deal with him always on and burying people and generally sucking, but now, EVEN BIGGER, he isn't even gonna be fun in the ring at all.

I was hoping that they would wait a couple week before tuning him heel, but they can't seem to build-up to any turn.

Carlito always does that bump, where it looks like he'll land on his head, but just barely flips over.

I agree. HHH looked like shit. I said he probably stole Stephanies ding-dong stash. :P

Yeah, but we knew this would happen, it was only a matter of when.
