Title: Bound for Glory Discussion
dynamite kido - September 23, 2005 02:07 PM (GMT)
Three matches already announced.............
AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels (X Title) - 30 minute ironman rematch
Michael Shane vs. Chris Sabin vs. Petey Williams (Ultimate X)
Samoa Joe vs. Jushin Liger
Looks REALLY good so far....
Until they add.............Jeff Hardy vs. Jeff Jarrett...........AGAIN?!?!
Mad Dog - September 23, 2005 02:58 PM (GMT)
I'm thinking AMW/Dudleys get added onto this.
dynamite kido - September 23, 2005 03:09 PM (GMT)
I would agree with that. Not to mention that I would actually like to see that match.....
SamoaRowe - September 23, 2005 03:50 PM (GMT)
At this point, Daniels/Styles stands a better chance of getting the main event than Jarrett/Hardy.
Though last night I was watching Survivor Series 2002, and watching Hardy botch spot after spot after spot. I thought to myself "Good thing he's not main eventing in TNA anymore." Silly me.
dynamite kido - September 23, 2005 04:48 PM (GMT)
I would think it's safe to assume that Aj/Daniels would be main eventing this show....
Scrooge McSuck - September 23, 2005 04:59 PM (GMT)
Joe vs. Liger?! (creams pants several thousand times)
At least they are putting Jushin Liger in the ring with someone that has talent and not some mediocre stiff like Bobby Roode (or anyone in Team Canada).
dynamite kido - September 23, 2005 05:06 PM (GMT)
yeah, there's no doubt that Joe/Liger kicks all kinds of ass.....
Mad Dog - September 23, 2005 05:07 PM (GMT)
Is there an actual rumor of Jarrett/Hardy being on here?
dynamite kido - September 23, 2005 05:08 PM (GMT)
I don't know about an ACTUAL rumor......but I'm assuming that they'll do it since they basically set it up at Unbreakable.
Scrooge McSuck - September 23, 2005 05:09 PM (GMT)
Dear Raven,
Welcome back to the midcard while such great draws like Will O' The Wisp gets your spot.
SamoaRowe - September 24, 2005 02:48 PM (GMT)
Either way, it looks as if Bound for Glory could very well be the pay-per-view of the year.
Not that there is a whole lot of competition for it, though WrestleMania 21 and Vengeance were both really good.
Big F'N Swigg - September 24, 2005 08:03 PM (GMT)
Abyss vs. Sabu vs. Rhino vs. Jeff Hardy in a No DQ Anything Goes Monster's Ball 2 match has been added to the 10/23 Bound For Glory PPV.
-PWInsider
Real F'n Show - September 24, 2005 10:09 PM (GMT)
What's a Monster's Ball match? First to fuck Halle Berry wins?
Scrooge McSuck - September 24, 2005 10:35 PM (GMT)
A lame name for a No DQ match. How many times are they going to abuse the Sabu/Abyss;Abyss/Hardy matches on PPV?

That would be the only match where the winner actually loses
Mad Dog - September 26, 2005 01:56 AM (GMT)
I'm glad there's some sense on this board and people don't buy into the myth that she's hot.........
or a good actor for that matter.
Big F'N Swigg - September 26, 2005 02:03 AM (GMT)
She ruined the X-Men movies the way Kirsten Dunst ruined the Spiderman movies. For that I will NEVER forgive her
whitemilesdavis - September 26, 2005 12:33 PM (GMT)
Halle Berry is hot. Terrible actress though.
TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 27, 2005 06:49 PM (GMT)
I'm not a big Halle Berry fan, period.
Spawnie Guy - September 27, 2005 07:25 PM (GMT)
Kirsten Dunst > Halle Berry.
eStragand - September 27, 2005 09:42 PM (GMT)
Only reason she was given an Academy award was because she banged Billy Bob Thornton on-screen. After doing THAT, they felt sorry for her and had to give her something.
SamoaRowe - September 27, 2005 10:48 PM (GMT)
Halle Berry was the worst thing to ever happen to X-Men. She is without a doubt the most over-rated piece of shit actress I have ever had to suffer on my television.
Mad Dog - September 28, 2005 12:42 AM (GMT)
She was pretty awful in the last Bond movie as well. At least the studio showed a rare sense and axed her spin off. She's even awful in those Spike Tv commercials. Nothing about her is natural it all comes off as her reading lines.

She was going to have her own spin-off!?!?!?!
At least even MGM wasn't stupid enough to go ahead and make that. Too bad Warner Bros. didn't follow their lead and not make Catwoman.

That Billy Bob hadn't already given her.
TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 28, 2005 01:19 AM (GMT)
I'm going to go out on a limb and say ol' Billy Bob didn't give her much.

I think the Oscars were out to prove they weren't rascist that year too. Denzel Washington won an Oscar for a shitty police movie and Sidney Poitier was given an honorary award.

Who me?
C'mon, I'm a firm believer in equal rights, but Halle Berry winning the Oscar was the equivilant of Ron Simmons winning the WCW title.

I heard she's still in therapy for doing that. So he did give her something... mental pain.
SamoaRowe - September 28, 2005 01:25 AM (GMT)
Anyways... back on subject... do we know for sure who Jarrett will face at Bound for Glory yet?
TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 28, 2005 01:35 AM (GMT)
I was only kidding about the racist thing. However, I am a Jarretist. So no matter who he faces, he loses.

Ah, I thought you were partly making a joke about how I misspelled it :P
eStragand - September 28, 2005 05:05 AM (GMT)
I thought Denzel did a good job of playing Samuel L. Jackson in "Training Day".
whitemilesdavis - October 12, 2005 01:19 PM (GMT)
Good point. Let's just hope Kevin Nash can play Samuel Jackson from "A Time to Kill" and murder a redneck.
dynamite kido - October 21, 2005 01:12 PM (GMT)
Here's some added matches for Bound for Glory........
X Division Four Way:
“The Original Playa From The Himalaya” Sonjay Dutt vs. Austin Aries
vs. Alex Shelley vs. Roderick Strong
The Diamonds In The Rough (Diamond, Primetime, Young)
vs. Apolo, Sonny Siaki and Shark Boy
I'm wondering if this is even going to happen if that Hurricane is still headed towards Florida?
SamoaRowe - October 21, 2005 01:49 PM (GMT)
Last i heard, the hurricane had not changed any plans yet. It would really really suck for TNA if they were forced to cancel or post-pone this show though

Yep. Especially if they have to move the date of the show.............that would mean no Joe/Liger then I'm sure.
Scrooge McSuck - October 21, 2005 02:27 PM (GMT)
Last I heard, the only people in any danger are in the keys, which have already been evacuated.
<---Predicted 5 out 5 times that Hurricane (name here) wouldn't hit (city where I live).
I can safely say for the 6th time, nothing will happen. :)
Real F'n Show - October 21, 2005 07:30 PM (GMT)
That fourway could be all kinds of fun if given 12-15 minutes.
