 To me, this is like ROH bringing in the Berzerker or Zeus.

Maybe Foley is trying to fuck with TNA. :P

Somehow I don't see Homicide fitting in in the WWE lockerroom. Especially when Triple H and Shawn Michaels get around to informing him that he "can't work."

Plus an end being put to his mic work and moveset...

Exactly. Unless he's just looking for money, he'd be better off sticking with the indy's or TNA.

I don't even know if they would seriously be interested in Homicide. First off he's VERY small. Regardless if he can work or not, that is NOT what they are looking for. Unless they are thinking of revamping the Cruiserweight division or something I have no clue what they would do with him.

Wow. Mick Foley must really take shine to RoH. It was Foley who helped CM Punk get signed.

Let's see....
Shorts and Scarface t-shirts? Not in the E.
Minority? Makes it tougher.
Mic skills? Rambles worse than Piper, and curses like a sailor.
CopKilla? The name and the move would have to go.
Larait? JBL says hi.
Ace crusher? Maybe, but Hardy and Orton might get testy.
Accepting of criticism? Let's see HHH's face about 30 seconds after he tells Homi he doesn't know how to work.
I love Homi, but this is not gonna work. I'd rather him go to TNA and watch the fireworks when Jarrett calls him an "uppity negro."
whitemilesdavis - September 21, 2005 07:43 PM (GMT)
I'd almost guarantee this won't happen. TNA'll use him though.

Ouch... I think I would have better odds of being employed by WWE than Homicide.

Oops, this just in....

Former JAPW Heavyweight Champion and top ROH competitor Homicide, was forced to pull out of IWA Mid South Wrestling's prestigious Ted Petty Invitational Tournament. IWA : Mid South owner, Ian Rotten, posted the following on the company's website :
"Homicide sent Ian an email and informed him he cant make the 2005 TPI. He told Ian that he is under investigation by police in New York and he can't leave the state. While we will not go into detail about it, it is a very serious matter.
Homicide told Ian to tell the truth , that he is not going t make up excuses on why he can't be there.
Replacing Homicide in the 2005 TPI will be "The Wildeyed Southern Boy" Tracy Smothers."
We will have more on this story on this website as details come in.

.....I'm still waiting to hear this from a better source.

I'm starting to come around on Cide a little. I really liked his match with Punk from the RRCII, and also his more recent matches, but he'd be a horrible fit for WWE. I'm really surprised they haven't gone after Joe at all. Or didn't, I should say, since he's with TNA. If they're smart they'll run with Joe for all he's worth, which is probibly a lot.
dynamite kido - September 22, 2005 08:08 PM (GMT)
They did try to go after Joe...............he didn't want the developmental contract and wasn't interested in changing his style. So he decided to go with TNA.
Scrooge McSuck - September 22, 2005 08:12 PM (GMT)
Smart man. From what I've seen him do in TNA, WWE would ban 90% of the stuff he does.
whitemilesdavis - September 22, 2005 08:15 PM (GMT)
Plus he'd have to hit the roids. Maybe he'd get to use a headlock as a finisher.
Scrooge McSuck - September 22, 2005 08:21 PM (GMT)
That's already reserved for when WWE decides to bring up the Boogeyman guy. He could always use the heart punch, or the dreaded Tongan Death Grip~!
The Last Free Voice - September 22, 2005 09:16 PM (GMT)
I dunno, they may let him use the Choke. Or STF. But good for him to stickin to his guns, so to speak. Not wanting to change, I mean.
