We've been discussing it, lets have a thread about it. Should AMW finally turn heel, or will TNA continue to push them as the incredibly over faces while they get booed?

I think their ocoming fued with Team Canada could do it. Have them complain to Dusty about D'Amore's interference. Dusty helps, but not enough for them to be happy. They then become a team that's more obsessed with the belts and getting what they want instead of getting the titles cleanly. They cheat, and get mean.

What do you guys think? Give me more ways they could turn, and more reasons.

Well, I know that there was a pretty good discussion in the TNA folder at TSM about this so I'm all for this thread.

Well, basically I think they should just go total dick heels......but they should turn in a match. Have them fight a team like XXX(although I know that isn't going to happen again, but as I said in the TSM/TNA folder about this that since SO many people like Daniels that XXX would have been the perfect team to turn them against)where there are people that support the heel team no matter what and have AMW turn on the crowd during the match. Have them play to the crowd and basically have them go nuts on said team. This would put them over as kind of a super badass kinda team and also putting some heat on them from the crowd.

I think a turn of that nature would be a great moment in TNA's history, as most marks wouldn't expect it at all. Have them pull an ECW Dudley like run, where they're just brutal to people for no real reason.

That'd be great. They could destroy Shark Boy and put him through a flaming table or something.

That stuff....they should avoid at ALL costs.....

AMW as new age Dudleyz that could actually somewhat coherently wrestle would be better than stale faces getting booed. That's just what I think. Perhaps the constant teasing of breaking up and then just acting like nothing happened got the fans sick of them.

I think part of the problem is that they don't wrestle like a real tag team. They're two singles wrestlers that do double team maneuvers. A heel turn could give them a new attitude, and hopefully someone could help them work together better.

The fact that Chris Harris couldn't do a propper fucking hot tag to save his life kinda shows he's not very good for a tag team.

Harris is a good tagee, but not good tagger.

An AMW heel turn wouldn't work very well, IMO. They've been faces for the entire TNA era, and I don't think the fans would boo them.

I boo them no matter what. They just aren't that good of workers, and considering they have lots of creative power doesn't really make me jump for joy for their matches either.

Niether of them really have potential to be anything big in WWE, and there's just no other place to go where a large National audience will care about them.

Plus they are Hillbillies.

Okay, WE would boo them (and probibly allready do) but the average TNA fan (READ: the hicks from the fairgrounds and Jeff Hardy Marks) are so conditioned to loving them as the best tag team in TNA and whatnot they wouldn't boo them.

Good point. Just have TNA make me a booker. I'll get them over as heels... or at least hated until the point they have X-Pac heat. But being realistic... hmm... how to make the crowd hate AMW. Easy... split them up and have them jobbed out to Kevin "wheres my crutch?" Nash and Scott "whats the drink limit?" Hall.

I think people would accept a heel turn based on the fact that the fans are tired of having AMW shoved down their throats. Similar to how WWE fans turned on the Rock.

Hmm. I'll have to pay more attention to AMW matches then. I heard it vs. XXX, but it's allways been like that with them.

How could anyone boo Elix Skipper and Christopher Daniels? (and Low-Ki if he was still around) Both are much better than AMW, although Skipper isn't what I would call great either. WWE needs to sign him damn it!

Cause Daniels is a hella good heel when he tries to be. So good it carries over to Elix.

Maybe it's that I've not seen an AMW match that doesn't involve XXX for a while.

Okay, topic discussion thing, If only ONE AMWer was turning, what one would you rather see go heel?

I'd say Harris by default, because people give less of a damn about Storm. Plus, Storm seems to be more of a hick, so if we go by the "hicks turning on bigger hicks equals ratings" postulate, it works better.

I actually like Storm better, mainly because Harris looks like a retarded hillbilly and Storm is just a hillbilly.
