Description: Stacked card for tonight...

Real F'n Show - December 5, 2004 12:18 AM (GMT)
The card for tonight looks awesome:

Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk
Austin Aries vs. Low Ki
Homicide vs. Bryan Danielson
Havana Pitbulls vs. Nigel/Collyer
Jimmy Rave vs. John Walters
Jimmy Jacobs/Colt Cabana vs. Roderick Strong/Jack Evans
Special K vs. The RoH Students
OCK vs. RCE vs. Carnage Crew vs. Whitmer/Maff
Jay Lethal vs. Prince Nana's Weapon of Mass Destruction

Plus a managerial debate between Jim Cornette and Bobby Heenan.

I'll definately be getting this DVD. Any thoughts on the card? The first 3 matches listed should be awesome for sure.

Figure they'll do something nutty, even the title switch, if they're gonna do a screw-job on the Aries/Ki match.

Results so far (credit ROH boards):

MATCH #1 - ROH Students over Special K with Davey Andrews pinning Izzy, after Izzy was mistakenly hit by Angel Dust.

Post-match, Special K of Izzy, Deranged, Lacey, etc turned on Dixie, Angel Dust, & Becky

up next, The Weapon of Mask Destruction will be REVEALED!!!

MATCH #2 - Jay Lethal over The Weapon of Mask Destruction

WoMD was a big guy in a red mask...no one could make out who he was, nor was it revealed.

Nana kicked him out of The Embassy, calling him a "piece of sh!t!" Nana then told Lethal that FB 2004 would be Lethal's last match!!

MATCH #3 - The Outcast Killaz over Dunn & Marcos, Carnage Crew, & BJ Whitmer & Dan Maff

Crew and Maff & BJ brawled A LOT during the match and ended up leaving the ringside area. The Embassy and OCK get the win!

MATCH #4 - John Walters retains the Pure Title over Jimmy Rave by countout

Rave was out of rope breaks and Walters held onto a submission move all the way to the floor. Todd Sinclair counted both men to '17' and Walters released the hold to beat the 20 count and win!

Prince Nana and The OCK were NOT at ringside.

MATCH #5 - Austin Aries fought Low Ki to a time limit DRAW

However, GMC came out and said that the match would go 5 MORE MINUTES!!!

Update to follow!!

The stipulation was that 5 more minutes was going to be granted because "the fans and ROH" wanted it!

Low Ki, grabbed the mic, and announced that despite the fact that all those people wanted, HE did not, so he walked out, leaving the match a DRAW.

MATCH #6 - Ricky Reyes & Rocky Romero over Chad Collyer & Nigel McGuinness to retain the Tag Titles.

Cornette and Heenan had their debate with Cornette playing the heel. Roderick Strong and Jack Evans came out and attacked Heenan on behalf of Cornette. Cabana and Jacobs made the save. Cornette will now be in Generation Next's corner for the tag tonight and Heenan will be in the corner of Cabana and Jimmy Jacobs.

MATCH #7 - Trent Acid over ????

MATCH #8 - Colt Cabana & Jimmy Jacobs w/ Bobby Heenan over Generation Next w/ Jim Cornette

Match #9 - American Dragon over Homicide. Post-match, The Rottwielers all attacked Danielson and he was saved by Walters, Nigel, Collyer, and Carnage Crew among others.

And Joe retains again, in reported 31 minutes?

When there is a No Time Limit for a match, that has gone to two consequtive 60 minute draws, wouldn't it be logical to exceed 60 minutes?

Real F'n Show - December 5, 2004 07:00 PM (GMT)
Probably, but it kinda reminds me of a 2/3 falls match that only goes 2 falls. It's not what you're used to, but if wrestling was real, could actually happen. Maybe Joe thought of a way to put Punk away earlier than usual.

dynamite kido - December 6, 2004 03:55 PM (GMT)
Actually, if the match doesn't go over 60, it would really make good sense. It shows that Joe is a great champion and has learned the hardway to finish Punk off before the 60 minute mark. It shows that Joe, being the champion came to a realization that if he had to go long again......he MAY lose the title. But he made sure that didn't happen and he kept. VERY good booking.

theintensifier - December 6, 2004 09:01 PM (GMT)
Eh, it would have been just as good if it had went over 60 again.

They could have played it down that Joe is getting tired with all of these long title defenses, and he's about to get knocked off by someone.

dynamite kido - December 7, 2004 12:35 AM (GMT)
Oh, I'm not saying if it would have went 60 minutes it wouldn't have been good. I'm just saying that it was smart for them to change it up is all.

Exactly. Not booking the obviously while still pleasing most fans. Michrome (who saw it live) claims it's better than the first two, can't wait for the DVD.
