Title: Favourite Show you've been to?

What is your faveorite indy show you've been to? Any stories?

Mine is undoubtedly "Redemption", the last ROH Dayton show. Just from top to bottom a great card, plus I got to meet Low Ki (I bought a shirt stragith from him) and Homicide, who were both standing right outside. I marked out like a bitch, so much so that Low-Ki actually asked if I was alright.

What about you guys?

I've got a couple (keeping it indy):

One show a few years ago, during Ron Killings NWA title run, he wrestled Chris Hamrick in the main event. It is honestly one of my favorite matches ever. The show other than that was OK, but those two are best friends and decided to put it all on the line for the crowd. Seriously, best match I've seen for either of them.

The best overall indy show I've been to was an NACW Warzone taping in Gaffney, SC. Every match of the night was really good. My favorite of the night was Dru D'lite vs. Bull Buchanon....you heard me right. It was such a well done match. After seeing that, I figured Bull would tear it up in Japan, but I've heard otherwise.

God I wish Ki would have given you the koppu kick, LFV, that would have been a great story.

Anyway, never been to a ROH event (almost went to Reborn Stage 1 in Minnesota but had to work).

This was EASILY the best indy show I've been to, although I don't have any cool stories about meeting any of the wrestlers...

NWA - No Limits "Aftermath"
1. The All-Stars vs Trik Davis & Icarus vs Joey E & Kid Krazy vs Daizee Haze & Mickie Knuckles
2. Chris Hero with Lacey vs JC Bailey
3. Danny Daniels vs Jimmy Jacobs
4. Matt Sydal vs Delirious vs Justin Kage
5. Ian Rotten vs Homicide
6. "The Anarchist" Arik Cannon vs Colt Cabana
7. B-Boy vs "Spyder" Nate Webb
8. BJ Whitmer vs Ryan Boz
9. 2 out of 3 falls: AJ Styles vs CM Punk

Cide/Rotten and AJ/Punk were both very awesome.

I, like 90 percent of the IWC have a Chris Daniels story as well. My first EVER indy show was ROH 1/10. It was my first show live since the GAB 94/5. Daniels was signing autographs out front. I was a fan of his TNA work. I got his autograph and mentioned that it was my first show since the GAB. His responce was "Jeesus! What were you, grounded!?" Got a laugh out of the entire line. It was a great way to start off my first ROH experiance.

My first ROH show was "ROH Gold." It's still one of my favorites. Mostly because it was a shot in the arm for my wrestling fanaticism. Before that, I'd only seen WWE and TNA (at the time), and I was thinking that there was no hope for pro wrestling. It was like giving me crack. I'll go back every time they're in Dayton now. I need it.

Either Main Event Spectacles or Manhattan Mayhem are up there for me. Main Event Spectacles was amazing because Jack Evans came in and nobody knew who he was, and less than two mintues into the match people were going nuts for him. The CopKilla Homicide gave Whitmer in their match was insane, and the crowd was legit pissed that BJ kicked out. Seeing Cornette turn on Joe for the Briscoes was awesome. The highlight of the night is without a doubt Danielson paying way too much attention to me during the main event, even threatening to kill me. I'm a huge AJ mark, and I was on Danielson's ass from beginning to end. He talked shit to me and kept looking my way the whole time, and I marked out like a small child.

Manhattan Mayhem was absolutely insane for the Rottweiler segments. The CopKilla/Doublestomp combo was the sickest thing I have ever seen live. The tag title match was the best spot fest I think I've ever seen. Lethal/Joe and Shelley/Aries were awesome. Just a great all around card.

You hitting the Cleveland show? I can't, sadly.

Wait wait... YOU were the guy who kept getting OWNED by Am.Drag? Awesome!

No, Cleveland is too far away for me.

Manhattan Mayhem was fantastic on tape, must have been even better live. I agree that the Whitmer/Jacobs vs. GenNext tag was a great spotfest. Loved that whole show...
