TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 14, 2005 08:23 PM (GMT)
It's already shaping up to be a crazy year.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 15, 2005 06:50 PM (GMT)
I think the Pats lose this weekend.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 16, 2005 01:47 AM (GMT)
*hooks up jumper cables to topic

Scrooge McSuck - September 16, 2005 01:48 AM (GMT)
The Jets are going to get fucked again, and what's up with ABC? Can't they just give ESPN the entire Giants/Saints game, instead of jerking us all around to watch both networks?

TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 16, 2005 01:50 AM (GMT)
that would require a soul.

Scrooge McSuck - September 16, 2005 01:52 AM (GMT)
I'm sure we can channel the spirit of Walter Payton to do that. :P

TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 16, 2005 01:53 AM (GMT)
That still depresses me to think about. Walter Payton was about as good as it gets for athletes.

Scrooge McSuck - September 16, 2005 01:55 AM (GMT)
And yet people like Darryl Strawberry (although he had cancer) and Doc Gooden are still kicking despite years of substance abuse.

dynamite kido - September 18, 2005 09:56 PM (GMT)
Well........for the second week in a row my Pittsburgh Steelers are looking DOMINANT!

Here we go Steelers, here we go!

S.T. Strickler - September 18, 2005 10:11 PM (GMT)
I can sum up the 49ers game in one word: Ugh.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 19, 2005 12:55 AM (GMT)
Man, if Vick could just land his passes when they counted, we would've won that damn game.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 19, 2005 09:27 PM (GMT)
That was just an ugly ass week. The only teams that look truly dominant are the Bengals and Steelers, and I'm not positive Willie Parker's going to carry the load much longer.

Scrooge McSuck - September 19, 2005 09:30 PM (GMT)
Go Cincinnati Bengals! (dances) Cleveland beating the Green Bay Packers yesterday surprised the hell out of me. You have something to celebrate for once, Mad Dog.

eStragand - September 19, 2005 10:34 PM (GMT)
There was a Ron Dayne sighting this week. NFL Films has video to prove it, too. Currently, it's being filed next to the Bigfoot Video until authenticity is proved.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 19, 2005 11:15 PM (GMT)
You can file in Unsolved Mysteries, right next to where Daunte Culpepper's game went.

Scrooge McSuck - September 19, 2005 11:35 PM (GMT)
Who is this ugly whore on ABC who talks like a man with a dick being rammed in their ass?

Scrooge McSuck - September 19, 2005 11:37 PM (GMT)
Saints fumble the ball on their own 11 yard line during the opening kickoff!! AHAHAHAHA!

Mad Dog - September 20, 2005 03:09 AM (GMT)

Hasslett called a timeout so he could lose a challenge on a catch that was right in front of his face. What a dumbass.

Scrooge McSuck - September 20, 2005 03:11 AM (GMT)
Fucking funny...

Giants win 27-10. Excuse me while I do my happy dance. :dances: OPA~!

TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 23, 2005 06:15 AM (GMT)
It's uh, now Week 3. Just thought I'd, y'know, let you know.

Scrooge McSuck - September 23, 2005 06:20 AM (GMT)
Start the topic yourself. I'm trying to put together an incantation to make the Yankees get into the playoffs. :P

(goes back to "So You Think You Can Voodoo" tape)

TheGreatWhiteChoate - September 23, 2005 06:24 AM (GMT)
Well, the Red Sox are pulling a Roman Empire as we speak, so I wouldn't worry.
