Damn, Tank Abbott is still around? Does he still go through his usual performance, either by KO'ing someone in the first 2 minutes, or getting his ass handed to him on the ground in the first 5?
Mad Dog - August 26, 2005 02:03 AM (GMT)
Basically. I'm surprised that Pride would have anything to do with him.

Just the token "name" jobber really. I don't think he's there because he's going to "wow" people with a KO.
However, if a KO happens, bonus for Pride.

Abbott will be gassed by round 2, and KTFO by round 3 at the latest.
Rest of the card looks good, and I'm hoping for a CroCop title win. Sure he ain't got shit for takedowns or a ground game, but it will be fun seeing some high kicks to retain the belt.
Also looking forward to a Silva/Shogun finals match, which would kick all kinds of ass.

The sad thing is though that everything I've read about Yoshida/Tank is that Yoshida is incredibly overrated. As far as I've known Tank is a shitty fighter, but he packs a good KO punch. SO maybe if Yoshida is overrrated as a fighter...........he'll get caught. Hopefully though...............he just submits.

I don't know. Tank's lost to some really shitty fighters like Kimo before. He probably goes down in this fight unless Yoshida has a glass jaw.

I would probably agree with you MD, I was just saying that if it gets into a match of fists (which Yoshida probably isn't dumb enough to do) then he could get the win. Otherwise..............I would go with Yoshida anyway.
