Title: Discussion. Because I'm Bored
Description: Darren Drozdov

Suppose Droz never got crippled. What happens to him?

Personally, I dug the guy. I thought the Puke thing was fun, Definitely don't see him going WAY far though, and he'd probably be on Velocity, like Hradcore Bob, employed solely because he can puke on cue.

Thoughts?

Honestly, I think he would've been fired in 2001 when WWE cut loose low-carders they had no use for anymore. Before that, he probably wouldn't get any push other than 2nd rate heel tag team with Albert, or maybe he'd feud in singles over either the hardcore or European titles.

Most definitely a guy that would've spent a great deal of time on Heat or Jakked/Metal.

I agree he'd be in the Holly/Venis jobber role, or he would have been released awhile back, or at the very least, recently with all the other cuts. He was decent in the ring though, if I recall correctly.

He probably would have stayed in the mid-card division. Perhaps winning a tag title and most likely the Hardcore title. Be recently shortly after because the WWE does have an active role for him. Internet fans rave over Droz because he was recently released and call the WWE stupid for dare recently him and his "untapped" potential.

He would have had to be repackaged as the Attitude era came to an end. I just don't know if he could have pulled off anything else. I'll say he would have been released about the same time as Albert.

Would probably be tag teaming in All Japan with Albert right now.

I imagine he'd be a regular on Heat right now. If not, I agree he probably would have been fired either when A-Train was, or maybe shortly after the Invasion began.

He would've been a perfect fit for X-Factor.

Yeah, that good.

If around today, he could've been used as part of a revenge angle with a returning Brock Lesnar. Because y'see....Brock had grown close to the Minnesota Vikings and their franchise in 2004. One day after training camp, Brock ran into former Vikings center Kirk Lowdermilk, who was attending camp as an alumni guest instructor. Lowdermilk told Brock about how Darren Drozdov puked on his arm while Lowdermilk was playing for the Colts in 1993. Lowdermilk regretted that he wasn't able to retaliate. Brock was inspired by Lowdermilk and his teachings. Brock left the Vikings in an attempt to avenge his new friend's puked-upon arm.

In a weird way, that makes sense. Therefore, WWE wouldn't use it.

Oh, Vince Russo totally would have used that.
