Ok so you can either justify this for either the cartoon or the toys.
Favorites
Snakeyes
Roadblock
Beach Head
Sgt. Slaughter and his band of misfits
Big Lob - he was hilarious in the movie
Baroness - I bet she enjoys taking it in the ass
Least Favorites:
Shipwreck: what kind of fruit runs around a battlefield in a sailor's suit when he doesn't have to?
the Twins: Hate the talking at the same time characters
Dusty: I hear he was fucking the dog on the side
Lt. Falcon: I don't understand how such a fuckup could still be in the military and still manage to outrank all but 3 or 4 of the G.I. Joe force.
I'll add Flint to the list as well. I always thought there were too many authority figures on the show. The General and Duke were enough IMO. Flint always seemed really bland to me. Plus he was trying to get a piece of that bulldyke Lady Jane I think her name was.
Actually 3 ways to rank this: Cartoon, Comics and Toys. I'll stick to the 80's versions..because that's all anyone really gives a darn aboot.
Cartoon Favorites:
Alpine
Bazooka
Footloose
Snake-Eyes (at least in the first series. he came off as somewhat of a bad-ass)
Beachhead (he had no personality in the comics. At least the cartoon did something with him)
Shipwreck (visuals aside, he was the Han Solo of the series. But I always crack up when he's swimming or upside down and his lil' sailor hat stays on his head)
Roadblock (When I was a kid, I thought the rhyming thing was supposed to be emulating Muhammad Ali... now I'm older, I think they were REALLY trying for Dolemite. Ten times cooler)
Stalker (he was good in his limited appearances)
Honest Gurgi Potemkin
Cartoon Hate-uhs:
Flint
Lady Jaye
Duke (although I did think he was kinda' cool in the first series)
Storm Shadow (they did nothing with him. He had a feud with Spirit?!)
Gung-Ho (hillbilly voice, not cajun)
Zartan (too sci-fi in the cartoon. Didn't use holograms, just lame masks)
Barbeque (just for the gay Boston accent)
Cobra Commander
Dr. Mindbender
Wild "Yeeee-hoooo" Bill
Comic Favorites:
Hawk
Snake-Eyes
Stalker
Scarlett
Rock n' Roll
Roadblock
Clutch
Destro
Baroness (just for Russ Heath's rendition of her in issue #24)
Cobra Commander
Kwinn
The Soft Master
Comic Hate-uhs:
Flint
Lady Jaye
Duke
Shipwreck
Serpentor
Dr. Mindbender
Toy Favorites:

Tunnel Rat
Mutt
Hit n' Run
Alpine
Airborne
Recondo
Firefly
Snake Eyes version 3
Storm Shadow version 2 (good guy version)
Topside (one of the last figures I ever bought)
Bullhorn
Cobra Stinger Driver (gray Cobra officer)
Bazooka
Tripwire
Heavy Metal
Dial-Tone
The Fridge (yes, I used and LOVED my Fridge figure. I played it off that he wasn't William Perry...just a big fan)
Outback
Ice Viper (Cobra Wolf driver)
Mercer
Recoil
Toy Hate-uhs:
Flint (that goofy face)
Blowtorch
Sci-Fi
Iceberg
Techno-Viper
Astro-Viper
Zap (probably because the original straight-armed version couldn't hold his bazooka well...and the thumbs on my figure broke off)
Torpedo (he had bigger tits than Scarlett)
Charbroil
Scarlett (looked like a total hag)
Cover Girl (had a gigantic head)
Dee-Jay
