Title: WWE Smackdown! vs. RAW 2006
Description: don't know if anyone else plays these

Anyway, it looks pretty much like a rehash of last years, although they're claiming they are listening to the fans more, but I assume it'll pretty much be the same game again this year with a few new features not worth the $50. Sadly, I'll probably cave in and buy it anyway.

I have no clue why people think these aren't worth $50. Every year I easily get my $50 out of the WWE game......

I still have plenty of fun with Shut Your Mouth and Wrestlemania XIX. Besides, wrestling video games have a very short shelf life, so you have to play as much as humanly possible in a few days before getting bored of beating the crap out of the computer 500 times.

Short shelf life? I play these things non stop usually until the new games come out.

Same here, I just wish they'd make some changes in the gameplay, so it's easier to work an actual match (ala No Mercy), instead of just the arcade feeling. I guess it's something to get used to, though, sports games do the exact same thing every year, but people still buy for the updated rosters, etc.

(shakes head in shame) I play new wrestling games non-stop for a week, then get bored and move onto something else, usually something much more challenging. Instead of making great graphics, how about THQ or whatever making it hard? Even on the toughest mode, I lose maybe 1 time out of 100, and that's usually when I play as a "loser" like Spike Dudley against the Undertaker.
