Title: What do you see happening when the dust clears
Description: .....in ROH?

That is after Punk/Gibson/Spanky are gone again and ROH just has it's regulars?

I think ROH has always been good about making new stars for itself. I can see Lethal and Rod Strong both getting big pushes. Maybe Cabana as well. Nigel could also make an awesome Pure champ. To be more general, they'll be fine. They'll start pushing some of their more "home grown" guys and bring in others to start the cycle all over again.

I'm honestly believing they have some sort of developmental deal with WWE. It wouldn't surprise me to see guys like Punk or WWE cruisers that are sitting idle to run through ROH frequently. I do think there is a big change coming for ROH, and though they'll probably bring in more steady profit, I think the fans they have right now will be a little let-down.

That's an interesting idea. I think some people would be disapointed, considering it to be "selling out", but it could lead to some of the ROH guys getting a shot in the E, which most would end up (eventually) saying is a good thing...

I think it'll be a big hit to the company losing those 3, but they have enough talent to replace them. Strong, Aries, Shelley, Lethal, etc. will all step up.

I think they'll continue to alienate their fanbase by being butt buddies with the WWF while saying they aren't and suffering talent raids from the WWF every couple of months. I could see their fanbase shrinking quite a bit if they don't end the recent bullshit.

Just to add this.........

Whatever happens, nothing is going to compare to the fucking awesomeness of Kobashi coming there in October. I've heard recently that he may be facing Low-Ki as of right now (To avoid politics and whatnot they would do it because it would be a NOAH vs. NOAH match because it's doubtful they would have Joe job to Kobashi and Kobashi isn't jobbing to anyone right now)

Real F'n Show - August 4, 2005 11:17 PM (GMT)
Jobbing Joe to Kobashi wouldn't be that bad. I mean, Joe jobbed to fucking Austin Aries for christ sake, and this is motherfucking Kenta Kobashi, one of the best in the world.

I'd see what you mean by legal stuff though, NOAH is probably pretty strict with that shit. Low Ki vs Kobashi could be a really good 'big man vs. little man' type of match, but I'd much rather see a Joe vs Kobashi match.

Eww....... Kobashi vs. Ki is about the last thing I'd want to see. They really need someone bigger to face him.

Go try and get Abyss or something.

Fuck that shit. Kobashi could work with anyone and Ki isn't a bad choice. Kobashi is probably still the best worker in the world, so he could in essence get in there with anyone.
