Title: They're back
Description: Spanky and Gibson rumored to return
Big F'N Swigg - July 28, 2005 09:34 PM (GMT)
Numerous sources have confirmed that both Jamie Knoble and Spanky are heading back to World Wrestling Entertainment. Knoble (who has been working as James Gibson on the independent scene) was at WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT yesterday. Neither have been given a start date with the company and it is expected they will be given the opportunity to finish out their independent commitments.

I think it's great for them financially, but I'd hate it if they did go back.

Good, it serves RoH right for not pushing their homegrown talent over the summer. Maybe now they'll get their act together and start putting Homicide and Samoa Joe back into the main events.

I wonder what they'll do with Noble, errr...Gibson, if he returns. May be he'll get somewhat of a push to start of WWE is truly playing to the internet fans. Didn't they hire Spanky before, but did nothing with him?

Well, this time I'm sure they'll promptly put World Titles on both.........
or they'll be Velocity fodder once again.

Funny how these two were having a "Screw Sports Entertainment" match just 5 months ago. Money does wonders I guess.
I just don't understand why WWE wants them back. Mexicool fodder?

Fine with me that they come back. Velocity is my favorite show right now, and they'll just make it better. No sarcasm in that either.
This last show was fuckin great from start to finish. They need to cut all the recap though and just do it like WCW Saturday Night. Shit, get a studio too, I kinda like the feel it gives.
BWO v Indy Dudes, Kazarian v (I forgot), Christian v Funaki, and MNM v Roadkill/Doring. That was a hell of a lot better than this weeks RAW and Smackdown. They should just try to make it an old school kind of squash show, with a real nice main event. Thats essentially what this was. Fun stuff.

Oy, I'm getting tired of saying this. Noble was only released because of a steroid issue that came up when he tried getting WWE to pay for a infection caused by steroid injection. WWE always intended to bring Noble back once everything had blown over, and well, it's blown over.
Spanky though, is a surprise. He asked for his release, so why go back to being not used?
Edit: By the way, Kazarian fought Scotty 2 Hotty on Velocity this past week. Scott Taylor really needs to retire or get a new gimmick. He's gotta be at least 35 years old, and is acting like he's 20-ish.

I think Spanky will get another brief push this time around before he's given the Shannon Moore treatment. I hope he gets some ppv time though, it kind of bugs me that his one PPV match before this had to be a three minute six-man match at Judgment Day 2003.
