A Live Draft on July 28? When does the season start?

September 8th, but that gives plenty of time to scout Exhibition and make moves before the season. Besides, thats just a token date. I could always push it back into the middle of August.

Here's a good scoring system, just as a fantasy football vet and huge fan, I thought I would suggest:

Scoring for Offensive Categories
FG - Field Goals 3 points
Plus 1 point for a FG of 40 to 49 Yds
Plus 2 points for a FG of 50 to 59 Yds
Plus 5 points for a FG of 60 to 100 Yds

IFRTD - Individual Fumble Recovery TD 6 points
IKRTD - Individual Kick Return TD 6 points
IPRTD - Individual Punt Return TD 6 points

Pa2P - Passing Two-point Conversion 2 points
PaTD - Passing TD 6 points
PaYd - Passing Yards = 1 point for every 25 PaYds
Re2P - Receiving Two-point Conversion 2 points
ReTD - Receiving TD 6 points
ReYd - Receiving Yards = 1 point for every 10 ReYds
Recpt - Reception 1 point
Ru2P - Rushing Two-point Conversion 2 points

Kinda jacked up cause of a copy and paste job, but my league running for 5 years has used this. Very fair, balanced, and fun and rewarding. Never used individual defenders, so I can't comment on that. Also, you're starters are a bit strange for a 12 team league. We use the following:

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, D/ST, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

I'll definitely join. Don't know about the rest of these guys though. And not sure I'll be able to make the live draft. Doin it at some ungodly hour of the morning is more likely to get me there than a weekday evening.

I live near Cincinnati. There isn't that much I want to discuss. That and I mostly keep up with the NL Central and the Red Sox.

Maybe you are trying to join Fantasy PLUS, which is a paying fantasy league type game. I did that quite a few times myself.

This scoring system is still ludicrous. 1 pt per completion for QBs totally overvalues them, especially when you're only giving recievers 1 pt per 25 yards.
