Buckeye Pro Wrestling co-owner Jonny Fairplay names Patrick Black new co-commissioner of BPW

In possibly the worst development in the short history of Buckeye Pro Wrestling, it now appears that Patrick Black, by all accounts the most repulsive wrestling personality in the Cincinnati area, will hold a position of power in BPW.

Black will represent the interests of new BPW co-owner Jonny Fairplay of CBS "Survivor" and TNA wrestling infamy. No stranger to repulsive behavior himself, Fairplay had this to say about his new choice for co-commissioner:

"If there's one thing you know about Jonny Fairplay, it's that I always tell the truth, so let me be honest with you about this. I don't plan on spending any more time in Middleville, Kentucky (note: the shows are actually in Middletown, OH) than I absolutely have to. Therefore, I need somebody local to represent my interests while I sip vodka drinks in Hollywood with somebody from the cast of MTV's 'Real World' fetching my laundry.

"By virtue of his intelligence and ability, along with the fact that his parents are in no way related which I've found to be a rarity in the midwest, Patrick Black is clearly the best man for this position. From now on, when Patrick Black speaks, it's Jonny Fairplay speaking. And you BPW fans are going to be in for a real treat. Trust me... I'm Jonny Fairplay."

Patrick Black's role in the company is somewhat unclear at this time, as current commissioner Shawn Stidham has yet to receive a clear ruling from BPW founder and fellow co-owner Dean Baldwin as to what the new system of power will be.

This entire thing must feel like a bad hangover for the often tipsy Baldwin, who despite advice from Cincinnati radio hosts Eddie Fingers and Bob the Producer, fell directly into Fairplay's trap back in August when Baldwin agreed to put half his company on the line as a main event match stipulation live on the WEBN "Dawn Patrol" morning radio show.

Baldwin dropped his cell phone in a martini and could not be reached for comment at the time of this report.
