Oh, I'm sorry that has happend to you. If you stick with guys like Sarnan, Bob Barnett, Lynch, BTV you won't get ripped.

Amazingly I still haven't seen Jumbo-Kobashi 5/91, Misawa-Taue 4/95, Kawada-Kobashi 6/98, or most of the Jumbo & co vs Misawa & co tags.

All worth seeing. RINGS is a major-league acquired taste, though. If I had to make a recommendation, I would say, 'start with the Battle Dimensions 96 tournament' which starts on 10/25/96 and culminates with the first Tamura/Han match on your list. And given that the tournament brackets are online, it makes it easier to ID everyone. And if you get the 6/98 Tamura/Kohsaka, make sure you see the Han match listed, as well as the 4/97 Tamura/Kohsaka, before you dive into the 30-minute draw.

These are excellent, of the four I've seen. You also want:

Takada vs. Albright: 5/8/92, 9/21/92, 11/30/94

First two are the first W/L trading they do to put Albright over as Takada's first true threat. The last match is Takada putting Albright over to be fed to Vader. All good matches that show that Albright wasn't as terrible as everyone likes to say he was.

You want the first and not the second. The second is a lot of boring, go-nowhere matwork. The first is almost like a boxing match, pretty intense.

This was a whopping 4:30 clip. Anyone who pimped it is a dumbass.

Rest of the stuff, in terms of UWF and RINGS, I would work through chronologically. If you start RINGS with the 96 tournament, you'll get to the '97 and '98 stuff soon enough - there weren't that many shows all told. Same with the UWF - the full DVD set came out a while back and you can get the entire set on probably 10 tapes.

That's funny you should mention all that, because I'm in the process of picking up a couple of comps that deal primarily with the Jumbo/Misawa feud, and also a comp of 70's AJPW. I've heard a lot about the 70's stuff, and have been meaning to check it out, as pretty much all of my rasslin' knowledge and frame of reference comes from the 80's until present time. The 70's comp has:
